5.1.3 V100R009C02
Trace Item No OPAD40647 Problem Description Trace of a maintenance problem: When specific NGSDH boards work with each other, the deletion of a board causes service rerouting failure on another board. [D] Working and protection sharing occurs on the new and original trails of the 16 cascaded and associated silver services on the egress node. The GSCC repeatedly resets after the egress node restarts upon power-off. [N] After the existing version is used or after the NE resets, ECCs are disconnected. [SVT05 recurs irregularly] Database backup fails after simulation package diffusion. [SVT05 recurs conditionally] The N5GSCC fails to restore data from the CF card through the DIP recovery function. Problem Description [Recurs conditionally] The AIS alarm needs to be inserted for lower order services that are not loaded. [SVT02_recurs with a certain probability] The R2CXL board reports the OMMUN_FAIL alarm transiently and regularly. [SVT03 recurs irregularly] Cross-connect feature (Mixed insertion of R1 and R2 CXL boards): When working/protection switching is performed for the cross-connect or GSCC boards, lower order services time out with a small probability. The timeout duration is not long. [SVT01_recurs conditionally] When working/protection switching is performed through scripts multiple times, abnormal reset (in reboot:TTIPSPPP) occurs during the working/protection switching. [SVT01_rarely recurs] Q5 working and protection GSCC boards are used. After warm reset is performed on the working GSCC board, an abnormal reset record is found in the reset log. <Use case> [5.36.19.10_T14][Communication]: When the N5GSCC works with IF boards, ECCs are disconnected. (This problem occurs once.) [SDV01_HPTIME_recurs conditionally]: When working/protection switching is performed on the GSCC boards, the external time source jitters and then recovers. When intelligent services are optimized in batches or many revertive tunnels are optimized on the CDMA network in Shanghai, the reversion time is long. [R9C02 IMA T03 recurs conditionally] GSCC feature (Q2/Q3): When the fan speed is set on the OptiX OSN 1500B, warm reset is performed on the GSCC board. [R9C02 IMA T03 recurs conditionally] GSCC feature (SSQ2CXL+1500A): The bandwidth of the actual slots in which Q2/Q3 CXL boards are located on the OptiX OSN 1500A is different from that in specifications. Please handle it. [R9C02 IMA T02 recurs conditionally] GSCC feature (R2/Q5): Centrally controlled boards exist on the NE. After the logical board of the cross-connect board is deleted, initializing the NE causes the tFcl suspension. [IMA T03_recurs conditionally] The OptiX OSN 3500II is configured with services when the ssn1slh1 board goes online. When the OptiX OSN 3500II issues the verification command, the tFcl is suspended. [IMA T02 recurs conditionally] 1184 SNCP services are configured in a protection group. When information about the protection group is queried, the NE resets.

OptiX OSN 3500II Intelligent Optical Transmission System V100R009C04SPC020 Release Notes
Problem Description [R9C02 IMA T02 recurs conditionally] Cross-connect feature (SSQ5CXL): When lower order services are configured on the OptiX OSN 1500A using the SSQ5CXL board, the services are interrupted. [R9C02 IMA T02 recurs conditionally] Line feature (SSR2CXLN): Warm reset is performed on the SSR2CXLN board. The services transmitted through the lines on the integrated board are always interrupted after the SSR2CXLN board goes online. A few minutes later, the services recover. <Use cases are available> [V1R9C02-3500II-slots] New slots 24 and 38 cannot be configured on the ETS8 board of the OptiX OSN 3500II. <Use cases are available> [V1R9C02-EFT8A] The EFT8A board enables transparent transmission of CRC error frames. When packets whose lengths exceed the maximum packet length supported by the IP interface are transmitted, the packets can still pass the IP interface. [IMA T01] Services transmitted through the lines on the R2CXL board with a single optical interface are interrupted. [IMA T01] Shutting down the laser triggers the switching of the MSP; the MSP does not recover after the laser is started. [D] When associated silver tunnel services with high priorities preempt silver tunnel services with low priorities, the services are rerouted and returned. After the services and cross-connections are deleted, residual cross-connections are found on the ingress node. [SVP-PREEMPTION-PREEMPTED-270] Problem occurring on networks recurs conditionally: The actual power consumption of the fans of the OptiX OSN 7500 should be changed to 19 W. [D] After diamond tunnels are rerouted and returned, residual cross-connections are found on the NMS because the host reports incorrect SNCTP relations. Trace of a maintenance problem: When SSN1GXCSA, SSN1EXCSA, and SSN1UXCSA/B cross-connect boards are configured on the OptiX OSN 3500 R6 and later versions, the rotating speed of fans cannot be adjusted. [SVT04_recurs conditionally] Common cross-connections are configured. The H1A and H1B boards are exchanged. After the exchange, services are interrupted. [Q5CXL-1588] When working and protection Q5CXL boards are used to test 1588, board 17 cannot serve as the working board.

Problem Description [D] 48 revertive silver tunnels are created. The tunnels are rerouted upon fiber breaks. After the tunnels are rerouted successfully, the services fail to be returned and are always in the lsp_waiting_restore state. [ASON solution test] After a shared MESH restoration trail is configured, static services using shared timeslots as sink timeslots can still be configured. [1588 deployment test><Test cases on phase differences between second frame headers>] When the time on the dual NEs in the preceding figure is synchronized through 1588, the oscilloscope is connected to the external time 1PPS interfaces of the two NEs. The second frame headers are lost frequently at the external time interface on NE #201. [N][No use case is available] After the control block is deleted from the intermediate node of diamond channel services, control block re-creation is initiated and the NE resets. [N] Services are deleted from the ingress node when the intermediate node of diamond tunnels is reset. 45 minutes later, residual cross-connections are found on the intermediate node through cfg-get-xcconnect, but the timeslots are in the FREE state. [Safety test] The SSR1EOW board is configured with the old orderwire phone module. This module connects the -48 V GND and PGND directly. This board cannot be used in DC-I mode. Problem about discrete services on a military network: The host needs to add an interface for querying the maximum serial number of abnormal events for the NMS. Service problem: On the network of China Unicom, Hangzhou Branch, the logical board of the D75S cannot be found on the T2000 after the upgrade from R8C01B01c to R8C02B01L (in DC mode). This problem occurs conditionally and occasionally on six OptiX OSN 1500 NEs.

6.1 Software
This document does not contain any specific operation on version upgrade. All upgrade operations should be performed on site by Huawei technical support engineers, or should be performed under the guidance of Huawei technical support engineers. Before obtaining the written permission from Huawei, do not upgrade the software version by yourself, to prevent any abnormity or negative effect from occurring on the current services. A hard reset causes a service interruption that is less than three minutes. Do not set the port of the TPS protection board as a clock source in the clock source priority table. Within ten minutes after the equipment is powered on, MSP and SNCP do not enter the normal working state. During this period, do not perform MSP- or SNCP-related operations.
6.2 Hardware
Wear an anti-static wrist strap before handling boards. Make sure the anti-static wrist strap is well grounded to prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) from damaging the boards. Read the relevant instructions before installing, operating, or maintaining the equipment. Ignoring the instructions can cause exposure to dangerous laser radiation. It is recommended that you wear eye-protective glasses when handling lasers or fibers. Make sure that the optical source is switched off before removing or inserting an optical module. Use an optical power meter to check the optical source and ensure that the optical source is switched off by measuring the optical power. If you cannot determine whether the light source is switched off, do not directly look into the exposed fiber or fiber-optic connector. When you open the cabinet door of the equipment, be properly prepared to protect yourself against the laser radiation. Do not use an optical instrument such as a microscope, a magnifying glass, or an eye
