AV Jn 1:1 .

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. AV Jn 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God. AV Jn 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. AV Jn 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. AV Jn 1:5 . And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. AV Jn 1:6 There was a man sent from God, whose name [was] John. AV Jn 1:7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all [men] through him might believe. AV Jn 1:8 He was not that Light, but [was sent] to bear witness of that Light. AV Jn 1:9 [That] was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. AV Jn 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. AV Jn 1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. AV Jn 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name: AV Jn 1:15 . John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. AV Jn 1:16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. AV Jn 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, [but] grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. AV Jn 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared [him]. AV 1Jn 1:1 . That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; AV 1Jn 1:2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen [it], and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) AV 1Jn 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship [is] with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. AV 1Jn 1:4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. AV 1Jn 1:5 . This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. AV 1Jn 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: AV 1Jn 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. AV 1Jn 1:8 . If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. AV 1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
