TERMS & CONDITIONS


SPONSORS: Our Club Policy allows for a maximum of four watering holes of which two holes will be allowed to bring in their own beverage stock (strictly no food my be brought in). Thereafter, clients / sponsors have to order beverage stock through our catering department. All food has to be ordered from our catering department. Should a sponsor wish to bring their own drinks, written consent and a mutual agreement with regards to corkage must be arranged with our catering department. Should drinks be ordered from our catering department, prior to the Golf Day, the Organiser will need to check and sign the quantities off, before they are delivered to the water holes and all drinks will be charged on consumption. All bills for sponsored watering holes to be settled on the golf day. All outstanding amounts or accounts will be charged to the main account if this has not been settled on the golf day. Watering hole stock to be checked in after the Golf Day by the caterers and signed off by the Golf Day organiser. The stock signed in by the caterers will be charged for onto the main account should there be no signature from the organiser. All bar bills on account need to be signed with a 10% gratuity fee. All watering hole arrangements need to be confirmed 7 days prior to the golf day. A list of all sponsors serving drinks and snacks at the water holes must be declared to the function co-ordinator no later than one week before the event. Any drinks or alcoholic beverages that have been brought onto the property without prior written permission may be confiscated. No tables, chairs or ice baths will be provided for water holes, these can however be hired from our catering department, prior notice would be required. st th th th Please note that sponsors may not place any food and beverages on the 1 , 10 , 9 or 18 holes, as these are in front of the Clubhouse/ Halfway House.

OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS: The use of cellular telephones is not permitted on the golf course and all guests must be advised accordingly. Smoking is permitted only outside the building. Amplification of music must be monitored within tolerable limits at all times. No liquor can be purchased or consumed by guests under the age of 18. No variation of any of these terms and conditions shall be valid unless agreed to in writing by both parties. Only A-frame and freestanding banners are permitted. No pegs may be driven into the course grounds under any circumstances. Starting times must be adhered to. Players should check-in at least 15 minutes before their tee-off time. All players are required to keep up with the speed of play at all times. The round should be completed in a maximum of four and a half hours. No private motorized, ride-on carts are permitted without prior permission. The Club complies with the Rules of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews and prizes offered may not exceed the laid down limit as per the attachment. If a golf day must be postponed as a result of weather conditions such as severe rainfall, a date will be provided suitable to both the organizer and the club.
