To provide the best enrollment experience for all families, we have separated enrollment dates for younger and older students. Siblings who fall in dierent age groups must be enrolled separately. We apologize for any inconvenience. For the best chance to get your student into classes, use our online enrollment process and register with your credit or debit card. General Information
n All classes are held at the Franklin Road Campus in Norman. n Supervision is provided only from 8:50 a.m. 4:10 p.m. (Late policy will be strictly enforced.) n Daily snacks are provided. If your student has an allergy or requires gluten-free, please send a snack. n Lunch is chaperoned for students attending both morning and afternoon sessions. Students may bring their lunch or use MNTCs cafeteria service. Lunch may be purchased for about $5. n MNTC is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Time & Cost


n Each one-week session meets from either: 9 a.m. - noon or 1 - 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday n Sessions are offered June 2 through June 26. n Each half-day session is $75. n Full-day Camps: CSI, and MED Camps are $140. Students are in class from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. with a chaperoned lunch break from noon to 1 p.m. n Refund Policy: Full refunds are given until the end of the first day of the session in which your child is enrolled. It is an MNTC policy to charge a $5 processing fee for each requested refund.

Drop-off/Pick-up Procedures
n Parents will drop-off and pick-up at two locations this year. Most parents will use Gate 3 then line their cars along the circle drive of Entrance B. When the circle drive is filled, cars will be redirected to line-up along the west side parking drive of the campus Main Building. n Parents whose students are enrolled in the following classes will enter

Gate 1 off of Franklin Road, and line their cars in front of the Health
Building: 3D Art, Carpentry, Create It & Show It Off, CSI Camp, Graphic Design, Med Camp, Movie Making I & II, Paper Crafts, and Robotics I & II. n Parents who are transporting multiple students in various classes may choose either location. Students not dropped off at their assigned location will be escorted to their classes. Likewise, students may be picked up together wherever they were dropped off. Make sure to communicate with your students which location you will use for pick-up.

3D Art Students will construct a variety of sculptureprojects using paper mache, wood, various papers and cardboard, aluminum foil, and other forms of media. Acting Out Learn the basics of drama and the theatre in this fun course. Hands on activities include state make up, costumes, acting methods and stage designs. Band It Jewelry isnt just for girls. Learn how to make the latest bands for guys. Basic Photography Do you enjoy taking pictures? If so, learn techniques that will make yours look like a pro took them! Students must provide their own device for taking pictures (camera, iPad, phone, etc.) Beaded Bands Students will be taught how to design and create a variety of bracelets with beads sewn between leather cords. These bracelets are great for wearing individually or layered and make great gifts. Beginning Guitar Want to learn to play the guitar? Bring your own guitar and join in the fun! (No electric guitars, please.) Bridge Building Students will build toothpick bridges that make math meaningful by allowing them to use arithmetic calculations and geometry to design, plan, and build scale model bridges. Working in small groups, student contractors operate simulated architectural rms to create strong, economical bridges and account for construction costs. Buttons & Bows Love hair bows? Learn how to make your own bows, tutus, purses and a bow holder. Cake Decorating What a tasty art form to learn! This class teaches tips and techniques for making dessert beautiful. Carpentry Learn safety practices and build your own wooden project. Students develop skills in wood cutting, sanding, gluing, and staining. Cartooning Do you like to draw? Come learn the basics of creating your own cartoon gures. Cash for Cupcakes Learn what it takes to host your own bake sale,

including proper presentation, economic planning, and decorating techniques to make small treats irresistible. CO2 Car Racing Do you like drag racing or building model cars? Learn how to drag race and build your own CO2 propelled dragster. Computer Game Design Learn programming and website development in a fun and innovative 3D environment that makes it easy to create animation, play interactive games, and develop video. Create It & Show It Off Experience a variety of basic art techniques including drawing, painting, mosaic, and paper crafts. Students will exhibit artwork on the last day of class. CSI Camp (All Day) Be a forensic scientist for a week, learning to apply science to the law and solving mysteries. Learn ngerprinting, dental forensics, and chromatography. At the end of the week, you will experience a ctitious crime scene. Dazzling Dcor From boxes to shelves, make projects that cleverly decorate and help organize your space. Digital Scrapbooking Arrange all of those digital pictures you have into super cool scrapbooks without all of the mess of a traditional scrapbook! Students will need to provide their own digital photographs. Drawing I Do you like to doodle? Come learn the basics of drawing your own original pictures. Drawing II Students will explore techniques of drawing realistic animals, people and nature with pencil, charcoal and ink. There will be opportunities to draw from photos and from live models. One day will be devoted to fantasy drawings and designs. Students will prepare a display with examples of their work to take with them. Duct Tape Design Youll never believe the things you can make out of duct tape! This fun class allows you to go out and teach all of your friends. Fun with Spanish Are you thinking about taking Spanish in school or traveling? Have fun learning the basics of a second language.

Glee Students rehearse and perform a Glee-style theater number involving dancing and singing. Graphic Design Students learn the basic principles of graphic design and make eective layouts using Photoshop and Illustrator, and then design their own magazine covers. Hair Rage Learn great hair styling and make-up trends using professional tools from an industry expert. Interior Design Students learn fun design techniques, how to coordinate colors and create accent pieces to t their space. Intermediate Guitar Students will learn contemporary and acoustic styles of guitar, how to play chords, read chord charts, tableture, and some classical nger picking. We do songs of their choice, and of course we sing! Kids Court Students will conduct mock trials in a simulation of judicial proceedings, that is, the actual enactment of a trial of either a civil or criminal case. Participation in, and analysis of mock trials, provides students with an insiders perspective from which to learn about courtroom procedures. Looming Bands Students will learn various looming techniques to make dierent bracelets and shapes with colorful rubber bands using a loom kit they will get to take home on the last day. MED Camp (All Day) Students experience an exciting week designed to expose them to the fast-paced world of modern medicine including units covering the major body systems, types of diseases, the bodys immune system, basic First-Aid techniques, and various medical careers. Mesmerizing Magic Abracadabralearn from a professional magician how to amaze others as you make things appear and disappear right before their very eyes. Movie Making I & II MMI: Students will perform, lm and edit humorous scripted plays. MMII: Students will write, perform, lm and edit short plays of their own. Movie Making I is a prerequisite of this course. At the end of each session, students will take home a CD with their play.

Nails, Nails, Nails Students learn the safe way to add dazzle and design to their nails and how to give others a great manicure. On Target From Robin Hood to Hunger Games, archery is everywhere in popular culture. Students learn how to create a functional PVC bow and a drinking straw crossbow. Painting on Canvas Learn painting techniques from an art teacher who will help you make fun art, not ne art! Paper Crafts Students will produce a variety of at andthree dimensionalart projects utilizing cut paper, paper folding, print-making, collage and mosaic. Puppet Magic Students learn basic puppet making skills and make their own puppet creation. The students work together to create a class puppet. Recycle Redesign Dont throw it awayredesign it. Students will learn how to create projects such as bags, scarves, and skirts from recycled T-shirts. Robotics I & II Create, build, and operate a robot using Lego Mind Storm kits. No prior experience necessary. Robotics I is a prerequisite for Robotics II. Scarf Your Neck Create scarves for any style and any season in this DIY beginner course. Scrapbook It Learn how to scrapbook your pictures in creative and fun ways. Learn to make small scrapbooks to give away or keep forever. Silk Hoops Students study various art techniques and create an original work of art using the silk painting method. Teachers in Training Have you ever thought about becoming a teacher? In this class, youll get to design bulletin boards, make class games, and much more!

12-14 year-old classes

Puppet Magic Students learn basic puppet making skills and make their own puppet creation. The students work together to create a class puppet. REAL Men (Boys Only) (Relationship Education and Awareness for Life) Men has been developed for males ages 13 and above and addresses relationships, self-esteem, abuse, alcohol, drugs, and Internet safety. Taught by the Norman Police Department, this program promotes respect, non-violent bystander interventions, and communication skills. Robotics I & II Create, build, and operate a robot using Lego Mind Storm kits. No prior experience necessary. Robotics I is a prerequisite for Robotics II. Scarf Your Neck Create scarves for any style and any season in this DIY beginner course. Sew What! Learn the basics of using a sewing machine and have fun making a project you can use every day.
