Expected Outcomes: Students will be able to recognize what this unit is going to be about. Students will be able to reflect on their future. Resources: white board, markers, textbook: Global English 1 Time Introduction 5 min The teacher silences the students and says hello. He also tells them that today we will start a new unit and he asks what they remember of the previous one to make them recall previous knowledge. After that, the teacher writes the word work and asks students to think of words related to this concept in order to create a word family on the board and introduce the topic of this unit. Comments

Then, the teacher asks them some questions related to the topic: e.g.: what do your parents do? What would you like in the future? (The teacher also comments on the topic of the previous unit that was related to the world o the future) 25 min and recalls the Mahatma Gandhis quote: The future depends on what we do in the present. And asks them what they think this quote means? Does it have a relation with the topic of this unit too? Then, the teacher explains the meaning of work as a noun and as a verb by providing some examples. After that he asks them to look at the pictures on page 187 of the textbook, read the sentence in the bubbles and match them. The teacher checks it orally. 5 min Once he checks the students work, he tells them that they will have to work hard in this starting unit and make them reflect on the Mahatma Gandhis quote. Finally, the teacher tells the students this is the last unit and that they have to do their best to finish well this semester. He also gives them homework: what do you think is the meaning of this quote? If a trainstation is where the train stops, what's a workstation?

Expected Outcomes: The students will be able to practice and learn vocabulary on occupations/jobs. Resources: White board, markers, Textbook: Computer, Data projector, speakers. Time Introduction Comments

15 min Since the class will be developed using a PowerPoint presentation, the teacher connects the computer and data projector. When it is done, the teacher says hello and start the presentation showing them a word family to recall previous knowledge. 5 min After recalling the previous class the teacher draws two stickmen on the board and makes the students look at the board to start the class; he explains with these drawings what the class is going to be about.

25 min Once the teacher introduces the lesson, he explains the first activity they have to do for todays class. The teacher projects pictures of different occupations and the students have to come in front and write the names of each one, if they dont know the word they can use their dictionaries. 25 min After that, the teacher tells the students they are going to play a dice game in which they have to read a definition and say whats the job of that person. The teacher explains the rules and projects the game.

The teacher gives the homework (students write it on their copybooks). Finally, the teacher asks students what they learned in todays class and comments on the importance reflecting on our future careers/occupations

Expected Outcomes: Students will be able to practice vocabulary on occupations and jobs. Resources: White board, markers, handout on occupations and jobs. Time Introduction 10 min The teacher silences the students and says hello. He summarizes the previous classes content and explains what they will do today. Core of the class Pre-stage Comments

After that, the teacher gives them a handout for them to complete. The activity consists of a set of questions related to occupations and jobs to complete a crossword. 25 min While the students do this the teacher calls the students one by one to give them their tests back and give them feedback.

The teacher collects all the handouts and explains that they will be a kind of extra point for next quiz.

He tells the students to do the homework and participate more actively of the class for them to improve their performance in the subject and tells them what next quiz is going to be about.

Expected Outcomes: The students will be able to reflect on their future job. The students will be able to write a CV. Resources: White board, markers, Textbook: Global English One. Time Introduction Comments

10 min The teacher says hello and to introduce the class he writes the quote It is important to worry about the future because we will spend the rest of our lives there. He asks the students if they remember the meaning and the context when they analyzed that quote before.

Core of the class Pre-stage

30 min After recalling the previous classes the teacher tells the students to open their books on page 188. He writes the title of the page (looking for a job) on the board and asks them what the meaning of that phrase is. Then he asks them what kind of jobs they would like to have. After that the students do activities 1 to 3 that are related to the topic. The teacher goes to the students sits and helps them to comprehend the activities and what they have to do. 45 min After checking orally their answers, the teacher writes on the board applying for a job and make the students think of the difference between this phrase and the previous one. Then, he explains the meaning of it and asks them if they know what a CV is. After that, he explains what next activity is going to be about. The students start writing Curriculum Vitae following the sample of page 197. The teacher checks the students work one by one and helps them to do it. 5 min Finally, the teacher remembers the students this is going to be an evaluated class work and that they will continue doing this CV next Thursday.

Resources: White board, markers, Textbook: Global English One. Time Introduction 5min Comments The teacher says hello and to introduce todays class he asks the students what they were doing last class and tries to make them remember what they did on Monday.

10 min Before the students continue working the teacher asks them to remember the parts a CV has and tells them what they should include in their CVs.

25 min The students continue working on their CVs and the teacher checks their work one by one during this part of the class.

Finally, the teacher remembers the students they have to bring their final CV printed next class. And remembers them next Mondays quiz asking them if they have any questions regarding the quiz.
