Uses and misuses of cell phones:

The invention of cell phones, their upgrades to high-end smartphones with many popular and fascinating features, their easy availability in the consumer market and their affordability have ensured that almost every person we meet on the streets can afford to carry a cell phone. These cell phones are being manufactured in bulk by various brands in different countries; the prices of SIM cards are also extremely reasonable these days and this brings down the overall price of obtaining a fully functional cell phone. With more and more companies of cell connection service providers coming forward and providing connections and SIM cards at extremely affordable rates, it is very obvious that almost every person will try to get hold of a cell phone. Cell phones are indeed one of the greatest and most useful inventions of mankind. Earlier, people had to depend on mails, computers etc to connect with different parts of the world but these were not always available. Cell phones help people to stay in touch with others in different corners of the world in a jiffy. For those who are looking for snazzy gadgets to flaunt, cell phones are exactly what they need. Even the tech-savvy consumer is not disappointed-cell phones these days come equipped with the coolest new features and functionalities like web clients, various gaming platforms for cell gaming, audio and video recorders, MMS or multimedia messaging services, email clients, document readers, PDA or personal digital assistant services, facilities for streaming and watching videos, video callings, music players etc. The prices are just right and these features are just what you need in your phone. But there is another darker and graver side to the story too. Widespread use of cell phones has made way for its rampant misuse too especially by the youth, anti-socials, terrorists and other criminals. Camera phones, those that come with MMS facilities enabled are used to take unauthorized explicit photos, shoot pornographic videos etc and spread them. Moreover since SIM cards can be easily available and there is no proper facility for full-proof checking of one's records, these phones are being misused by terrorists for various activities. The young generation is so engrossed in sending SMSes, talking over the phone and spending most of their times in the virtual world that in the real world, they are gradually becoming socially ill-equipped and repressive. This leads to communication problems and also causes disturbances as one is always busy texting and receiving texts. Cell phones are both a boon and a bane. It is up to us to use it responsibly and make it a boon for the rest of our lives and beyond.

Steer crimes in the city:

Street crimes like snatching of mobiles phones, cars, gold ornaments etc. Are burning question nowadays, not only in Pakistan but all around the globe. Increasing lawlessness in cities become the alarming problem everywhere. Despite debates numerous on the issue the problem remain unsolved. The majority of people are still unaware of thermo cause of this menace .
The first thing that should be noted is that street crimes are different from traditional crimes in the sense that they are mostly not committed by professional criminals. Researches have shown that the people who commit such crimes are simple native looking souls who tired of prolong poverty indulge in such activities. The main reason for this is the widening difference between rich and poor. In the past the rich people helped or cared the poor peoples, which created the strong bond between the two classes of the society. Unfortunately, the situation is reversed. The ethical values seems to have faded away. The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer day by day. An other reason of street crimes is the habit of showing off. When the lower class people look at the magnificent jewelry, beautiful cars, brand new advance mobile sets, there heart throbs for there luxuries, which they cannot afford. Thus they resort to illegal means attaining there amenities.

The most important reason of street crimes is the ratio of unemployment because since 1992, there has been no appointment either through Sindh public service commission or an adhoc basis. Inflation and low salaries to the police force produce some accomplies in the street crime. A good majority of Pakistani people live below poverty lines that also faster the crimes. In order to bring an end this evil we must educate our society because only educate and literate can make up a strong and peaceful nation. We must also build a strong family fabric. The parents should give time to there children and make them aware of the negative effects of these crimes. In order to discourage the people from opting this way of earning we need to have a check on our spending. Instead of wasting money on extravagant clothes and shoes, we should save our money for a rainy day. Surveillances cameras should be installed at all street corners to assist the police for catching the culprits. The black sheep with in the police force should be detected and serious action should be taken against them. For complete wiping out the social evils from our society, we need to revert back to the basics of Islam. If the golden principles of equality, modernation, justice and peace are adopted, it would soon show the good results. May god helps up in our fight against the evil or this world with honesty and sincerity. Bureaucracy of armed forces, civil servants, judges, lawyers and general public be briefed about basic duties of a person towards his fellowmen and fear of Allah be revoked in their hearts as they are accountable to Him for every misdeed we have to be optimistic at every step of live, InshaAllah, every thing will be all right with the passage of time.

Democracy:
Democracy is not a government; it is a way of thinking, a responsibility. In a democracy there is no corruption in power because it is a transparent system: the governing doctrine states that citizens have the right to access the documents and proceedings of the government, which allows for effective public oversight. Like a sculptor, democracy grows with its work and appreciates its art. In life there is no greater pursuit than that of equal voice. Every day people are fighting for the right to be heard. Democracy is that right on a grand scale. Democracy is not only being heard, but being listened to. Democracy is when you are given an equal vote on decisions that directly affect you. And when given this tremendous responsibility, people will surprise you. They rise to the occasion and educate themselves on the issues at hand. They also work hard to ensure that the next generation is knowledgeable. In a democracy, the youth are educated. From birth they are taught that their voice matters and their vote counts. These are rights they must fight to maintain and will prosper from. No, democracies are not free of flaws; some say that there is no way that something as simple as a popular vote could null the evils of unlawful power or social inequality. These woes are valid, but democracy can work. There are still consequences to right wrongs, and laws to help keep peace and balance. There is a difference between freedom and chaos. Without democracy, society suffers. In dictatorships there is no celebration of thought or creativity. A country cannot thrive if others' opinions are not appreciated. With only one opinion adhered to, the country will be at a standstill. As patience begins to wither, anger begins to rise like mercury in a thermometer. Each decision made with no consideration for those affected, every failed law, every time the system overlooks another citizen, every personal right stolen, adds a degree to that temperature. Finally it becomes so hot that the citizens, like an overheated thermometer, explode in anger; the people will revolt. This has happened many times in history. Our own country was built from this frustration and the fight for freedom. Without democracy, we lack progress in thought, technology, and polices; society is halted. The U.S. has thrived from our ability to create and then take said creations and improve them. Is this not the age of today? We do, want, communicate everything now. Without the right to improve, we would never have developed the technological world we live in. Without the voice to express innovative ideas, without the freedom to explore, we would never have achieved what we have. Stuck in the past we would stay. What would we do without progress? Democracy, like a car, gives you what you put into it. If you build it to be unhealthy, then it will pollute the air with poison. If you do not maintain its engine, it will fail you. The power of education fuels it forward, and most importantly, people decide its fate.
