"We cannot alter the past, but we can be alert for the future".

Nothing can be serious than the peoples acceptance and resignation that corruption is already part of the Filipino way of life. If you are not part of the solution, then you must be part of the problem but I say If you are not the solution finder, you should be the problem solver! I personally believe that when opportunities dont knock, then I must build a door. Let us together build a door that will lead us into a society that is not corrupt. The youth is the recognizable hope of our nation, may the young people continue to soar like an eagle that soars high. I will always remember that two hands are better than one thus; helping one another is a key tool to success.

Collaboration and Inclusiveness is the key in fighting against corruption. I should start the change that I want to happen by replacing the cancer of corruption and dishonesty with the spirit of integrity.

To stop corruption we need a system where no one has any choice to be corrupt. So, we can say that we need a system which does not give any reason to anyone to commit any crime or do any wrong thing that is against humanity. In the current system, most of the youths can only try to enjoy their life, they think that enjoyment is the most important thing in their life and that is why they are so busy in enjoying their life that they do not want to see anything else happening around them. The most general example is, in today's system, during every election, we all go to polling booths, and give our votes to any party without thinking too much and come back to our homes. After voting, we all think that our responsibility for the country has fulfilled, and we have elected politicians to think about the country, then why we also think about it? This type of thinking is so selfish and so dangerous for any system that if youths keep thinking like it, then dictatorship of capitalism will reach to its highest level and a new form of slavery will be developed for proletarians. And, poor people will become so poor that they will not survive to live. This will continue while the group of selfish corrupt people will rule the system. In coming days these corrupt businessman and politicians will become the god of common men. And, this will happen for sure, if youths continue to think that they are not responsible for the country or system. People commit in corruption because of Power, self interest, to steal money etc. As early as now we should train the youth how to prevent corruption that can lead to changes .
