damage to not only your physical health but your psychological health as well. I believe that this book is credible because of the fact that the author has her Ph. D and works in a medical center. It also includes a bibliography in the back which tells me that she as well got all of her information from credible sources.

Lovallo, William R. "Chapter 10." Stress & Health: Biological and Psychological Interactions. Thousand Oaks, CA: Sage Publications, 1997. 165+. Print. 13 Mar. 2013. In this particular chapter of William Lovallos book, he points out the topics of behavior, stress, and health. Just by the title alone it let me know that this chapter would probably have a lot of information that I would need for my paper. He points out something in this chapter that I hadnt really thought of including in my paper; which was how stress can affect you behavior. It talks a lot about the ways stress can affect you as well as solutions that you could maybe use for the problem. Stress can have many consequences and also many bodily effects which are all listed in this book. I think this book would be a great source as well for my paper because it made me think more about the behavioral aspects and what stress can do to affect those. I believe that this book is reliable and credible for my research because in the back of the book he has a ton of references listed. This tells me as the reader that he had done his research and really knows what he is talking about and lets me know where he got all of his information from.

Murff, Sharon H. "The Impact of Stress on Academic Success in College Students." -Health News. Copywrite Tucker Publications, Sept.-Oct. 2005. Web. 13 Mar. 2013. On this website, its main focus is on the academic success that college students have while stressed. It states that the purpose of this article is to provide a discussion on stress and how it can prevent students from being successful in fulfillment of their educational goals. It also says that the writing is supportive of the fact that stress places demands on an individual, and in response to the stress, the body attempts to adapt to the stressful experience to maintain a sense of normalcy. This article notes that college students come across many stressors that can be harmful to their body and their wellbeing, and that it becomes difficult to cope with the stress in these overwhelming situations. I believe this article to be credible because of all of the supporting evidence it includes and the information seems to be well thought out.

"Stress and College Students - How Stress Affects Concentration." Colorado Christian University RSS. Colorado Christian University, 12 Jan. 2012. Web. 13 Mar. 2013. I like this article for my research because it gives the reader a different perspective on stress. In one of the paragraphs it notes on whether stress is either a friend or a foe. It talks a little on how stress may be a positive thing, which I have never heard before. I have never thought of stress being anything but negative so this article really opened my eyes on this topic. It states that stress can cause more concentration for students. It says, This is due to the body releasing chemicals into the brain to help it focus and pushing adrenaline into the bloodstream in order to heighten the senses, which helps the body hone in and focus on tasks at hand. Like another article that I am using, I really like this one for my paper because of how relatable it is to college students. It helps me understand what may cause stress in my life and also brought to attention that stress may not be as bad of a thing as I have thought.

Sutton, Amy L., ed. Stress-Related Disorders Sourcebook. 3rd ed. Detroit, MI: Omnigraphics, Inc. 2007. Print. 13 Mar. 2013. This book will probably be my most helpful resource. There are so many chapters and key points pointed out in it that have given me so much information. This book talks all about how stress can affect your health and body and what kind of disorders you could receive from being too stressed. A main topic in this book that jumped out at me was some of the warning signs of stress. It has listed so many signs that include cognitive signs, emotional signs, physical signs, and even behavioral signs. It also includes many diagrams of the effects of stress on your body that I think will be very helpful to my research. Everything found in this book is new information to me, which is why I think it has intrigued me the most. I think this book will be the most helpful to me because it has the most information Ive found so far and seems to have all of the information that I will need for most of my research. I believe this book to be credible for my paper because it is the third edition. So that tells me that it has been updated from time to time and has the best information there is for this particular time. It also has many other books listed in the front, which tells me that the author did her research and is giving me other sources that may be in help to my research as well.
