To the teacher or parents:
book 4
This book will lead your student through vowel combinations, ee, ea, ai, oo, and oa. This book is designed to build confidence in reading spelling, and solidify phonics rules for young learners. The words and pictures were designed for children and the vocabulary should be familiar to the students. However, some of the readings in Book 4 have higher level vocabulary and sight words. Please be sure to first review any vocabulary and you feel might be difficult. At the top of each section there are instructions for the student to read with the help of the teacher. The sections flow from sound recognition to vocabulary building. Then it moves from spelling to reading and writing. This book is most beneficial if the vocabulary is not new to the student. Before doing any activity, its best to have the students name all the pictures.
