JoinusforourannualGardenFest.Our gardenwillbealivewithgardenloversand theirfamiliesfromthroughoutthestate.The daywillincludeavarietyofdemonstrations, gardenvendorbooths,food,andchildrens craftevents.Thereisnochargeforattending althoughdonationsareencouragedtohelp supportcontinuededucationalprogramming. Besuretosavethedateonyourcalendar.
TheBotanicGardenatOSUis pleasedtoprovideStillwaterand thesurroundingcommunitiesa varietyofchildrensprogramsin 2013thatarerecommendedfor ages312.Theprogramsleadthe childrentounderstandthe connectionsamongpeople,plants andtheenvironment. Eachprogramwillbecoordinated byteamsofTheBotanicGarden Ambassadorswhobringdiverse knowledgeandtalentstothese programs.

July6CreepyCrawliesandFliersin theGarden Wholivesinagarden?Childrenwill searchthegardenforinsects,bugs, worms,butterfliesandbirds.Theywill learntheroleeachofthesecreatures playinthegardenandwaystoattract thoseresidentswhoarewelcome. July20BirdLifeinOklahoma Usingcolorphotos,thechildrenwill learnofthemostcommonbirdsfound inOklahomaduringthesummerand beaskedtolookforthemintheirown yardsandsurroundingfields.Each childwillpaintasmalldecorative birdhousefordisplayintheirhomesor backyards.
