Episode 1: The begining ^.

^ -- Miaka and her best friend Yui are in the national library, when then come across an old chinese book. Yui begins to read out of it, and the girls are sucked into another world. The girls don't know where they are, and slave traders begin to attack them. Miaka is down on the ground because the slave traders have finally beaten her, and when things are starting to look bad... Tamahome shows up and grabs the man's wrist and casually says "Stop it" then kicks their butt. Without a care in the world, he asks the girls for money, and when they say they don't have any he walks off waving saying "I hate poor people, bye." (or in English "So long Penny Pinchers") While Tamahome is eating at some counter in the city he overhears a conversation between two men that says a strange girl in foreign clothing is looking for the man with the character for "ogre" on his forehead. Miaka carelessly goes with a man who says he is a friend of the man she is looking for, but in reality he is another slave trader looking for a big profit. Miaka actually protects herself, but when the men get pissed that she had hit them, they get her down on the ground ready to rape her... but once again... Tamahome appears on a nearby rooftop tossing a rock... "Four guys... against one girl? And you call yourselves men?" He beats them all up and saves her again. Miaka is now terrified and he stands over her with her looking pitifully up at him, and the episode ends like that. Episode 2: A frightened Miaka stands and hugs this stranger. Feeling sympathy for her, he tries to cheer her up. "Oh yeah, I heard you were looking for me." Miaka tries to find out where he took Yui, not knowing that she had returned to the library. She ends up chasing him through the city being a total pain in the ass. After she announces to everyone around that the man is a slave trader, he takes her away. He tells her that he isn't a slave trader and she says "I know." So he drops her, "pay back." The Emperor's Procession marches by and he makes the mistake of telling her that he wants a jewel off of his crown, and Miaka, being stupid as usual goes and asks the Emperor herself if she can have a jewel. She trips over a rock and tears cloth from his little carrier thing and the guards get angry at her and try to cut her head off. Tamahome runs over and saves her. They finally introduce themselves and he says that he is going to help her, and pays for it by kissing her forehead. Then she starts to disappear, but quickly returns and he is left stunned. They get thrown in to the dungeon and she grabs him in her sleep and she opens her eyes to see him there, and flips out, but shut-up when she learns that it was HER that grabbed HIM. She gets depressed and he reassures her that he is going to find a way to send her home because he already paid for it, and then he taps her head. (I like that part, it's cute) She puts in a piece of gum and when the bubble pops on her face he runs in to the wall screaming "Monster!" They escape and end up going in to the room with the shrine to Suzaku and he goes on tangent about the four gods, while she runs off smelling food. He goes off looking for her and when the guards catch him again she steps out and tells them to let him go, and then they grab her. Tamahome gets angry and tells them not to touch her and his symbol glows and he kicks more butt. Episode 3: He goes in to her room because he thought that she was sad. He randomly hugs her, telling her that is she needs a big brother, he'll be one on the house. She leans against him thinking ... "Warm.." He follows her to the Emperor's room where she learns that Tamahome is a Suzaku Seishi and that the Emperor, Hotohori was too. She stands there and thinks to herself... "That is why they were so nice to me." Miaka provoked the warriors by making fun of her and then gets trapped under a gazebo, with Tamahome above her holding it up with his back. He says that he is always going to protect her, and that is where Miaka realizes that she likes him. Nuriko comes over and saves them both just as Tamahome was about to collapse. Nuriko kisses Tamahome (yuck) and Miaka gets jealous... "TAMAHOME!" Back in her room Miaka is washing her underwear going on one of her brain tangents and Tamahome runs in to see her topless. He turns beet red and then Nuriko finds him and takes him away. Miaka wants to be her maid and treats her badly and Tamahome says to leave her alone. At the gazebo, he tends to her leg after saying that he doesn't like Nuriko, and isn't happy with him/her liking him. Episode 4: Nuriko sends Miaka to the pond to look for an earring that doesn't exist. Miaka is downing and calls out Tamahome's name and he hears it... then says "Why is my heart pounding like this?" (I like that line too) He then stumbles upon Nuriko saying that she sent Miaka to the pond just to get wet, and he walks in and stands in the doorway (most wonderfully), then tries to go off and find Miaka, who then walks in the room completely wet. Later, when asked by Hotohori who she loves, she pictures Tamahome. Nuriko and Tamahome overhear Hotohori proclaim his love for Miaka, and Tamahome walks in to the room and looks directly at Miaka. The next morning after sleeping in Hotohori's bed all night, which she really didn't sleep at all, she sees Tamahome. He is very cold to her. Miaka follows Tamahome and Nuriko to the city where he tries to sell the gum she gave him. When the crowd gets out of control, he escapes with Miaka to run in to another gang. They grab Miaka and ask for money. Tamahome beats them up and says to her "There are some things I wouldn't sell for any price." Miaka is upset that he is hurt and wants to know why he would go so far for her, and then bursts out that she is in love with him. He simply looks back and says ... "Sorry, I don't feel the same." (that killed me) She then falls to the ground with a fever. * You know that Tamahome likes her then, because his next line was ... "The Emperor will be worried." You know he's jealous, he just doesn't want to interfere with Miaka and Hotohori... "Ta-ma...." Episode 5: Miaka's words ring in Tamahome's head, and she is sorry that she told him. She begins to call out for her mom and brother, and they realize that she wants to back home. They think it would be best, and that way she could get better. So they decide to take her to Taiits-kun's. Tamahome overhears Hotohori talking with Miaka and is

depressed. Nuriko hits him with a table and tells him to be a man. He walks away and leans against the wall thinking. Getting ready to leave they turn from their horses and look at each other, then turn away quickly. Nuriko sends them both to the healing waters in the woods. He saves Miaka from a log... then goes on to explain why he said what he said. He didn't know how to handle a woman saying that, because for the 17 years of his life he has been obsessed with just money. He gets out and says that he will take her to Taiits-kun's. Tamahome's face shows what he is feeling when he sees Hotohori and Miaka talking and watching the view together. That's when Hotohori hugs her. They eat, and even though she is sick she eats all her food and theirs too. (naturally) On the way, while walking on a path, she trips over a rock and Tamahome sees her underwear as she falls. She questions him about seeing anything and he says ... "If you had bigger breasts and were sexier, then I'd admit you were a woman." She hits him and runs off. Personally, I would have forgotten about him right then and start paying more attention to Hotohori. That is, if Hotohorti was more feminine than me. Episode 6: Tamahome searches for her in the woods, and she walks up after he returns. Evil Miaka goes over to Tamahome and asks him ... "Did you miss me?" and he says "Not really." (this guy is a jerk) So, evil Miaka goes over to Hotohori and hugs him calling him "darling." Now Tamahome looks pissed, and watches in shock as Miaka and Hotohori go off in to the woods together and she then says that she loves Hotohori... He is relieved to find out that she is a fake. LATER, after Miaka stabs herself with the plate shard and is lying down dying, he picks her up and cradles her in his arms calling out her name. Then he admits that he shouldn't have been so mean to her, and he looks really hurt. When Nuriko says that blood is needed he picks up the plate shard and stabs himself in the chest... (I know, Hotohori cuts himself too, but this is Miaka and Tamahome's moments of fame) She touches his face when she wakes up and he yells at her for scaring him. (I can't believe it took Miaka almost dying for him to realize that her really did like her, what a dumb-ass) When they go to Taiits-kun's, he is holding her... Episode 7: Tamahome holds Miaka and she whinces in pain. He continues to hold her through the "magic carpet ride." Tamahome tells Taiits-kun to use his blood, looking at Miaka and saying ... "Breathing for no purpose is a waste of life..." (Now he decides to get sweet... and never stops) In the bubbles, Miaka strips and feels the blood of Tamahome and Hotohori flowing through her. They both watch her lovingly. Getting ready to go back she thanks them, and Tamahome puts his hand over her head and says ... "Instead of thanking us, come back to us." Episode 8: Back in Miaka's world she writes his name on a piece of paper. She hallucinates and sees him there with her, and she is sad knowing that he doesn't exist there. She even tells her brother, but he doens't believe her. Finally Miaka runs back to the library in teh middle of the night, and goes back into the book. Meanwhile, her brother and his friend had followed her, so they began to read along in the book. She goes back and learns from Nuriko that Tamahome was eating plates with her being gone. So, she and Nuriko go off to see him because he went off to make money. It was three months before she came back even thought it had only been a few hours in her world. They ride on a horse in to the woods and Miaka falls off after the horse gets spooked. A man stands above and she is scared. He asks who is there and Miaka is like... "That voice..." He shines the light on her and then touches her face with his hands... "It's only been three months, but it feels like one thousand years." They say each others names... (can't you just hear it, in your sleep.. Miaka.... Tamahome...) and they embrace. He introduces her to his "friends" by putting his hand on her head, while Miaka just stares at him. Chichiri, you don't know at the time who he is, pulls Miaka in to the brush. Tamahome runs in after her and screams her name (when doesn't he?) Episode 9: Tamahome finds her and when he does, they hear screams in the other direction. They run back to find a group of dead people. Miaka screams and Tamahome covers her eyes. He then holds her when she figures out that the people died instead of her. Tamahome says ... "I'm with you. I won't let anything happen to you." Tamahome goes home and Miaka follows him. Miaka gets all giddy seeing his home town, and cries when she learns that the reason he wanted money so badly was to support his family. She runs in when his little sister, Yuiren (who is my favorite of his sibling's, and probably everybody else's) gets sick. Then she tries to disappear in to Chichiri's kasa. The kids ask `Niichan' if Miaka is his wife and they both blush. Nuriko then tells his father that Miaka and Tamahome have gone all the way to "C", meaning they had sex. Miaka goes for water and says she feels like Tamahome's wife, but then realizes that she couldn't even be his girlfriend. An assassin tries to kill her. Tamahome feels that something is wrong and runs out and grabs the blade with his fingers, and kicks him back. Chichiri then goes after the man when he comes back and Tamahome pulls her back wrapping his arms around her. He asks Chichiri if he's human... and his response is... "Don't be rude no da." Going back and his family is tied up, Miaka is willing to sacrifice herself for his family, but Chichiri saves her, again. Later, Miaka runs away to Kutou to save her friend. Episode 10: Tamahome gets worried about Miaka not returning and runs out after her. He protects her from a tiger and she says ... "Please leave me alone." He looks hurt, then hugs her from behind... "Can't I be with you? ... While you were gone I wanted to see you so badly. For the first time I was aware of my feelings. I couldn't even function with you gone. I have to keep you safe. No matter what, don't be away from me." Then he turned and hugged her, eyes closed. Miaka then fakes being hungry and falls to her knees in front of him. He is worried about her and when she asks him to go get her food, he goes. After he is gone, she takes off. Tamahome goes to the horse and doesn't find the snacks that

Miaka said was there. He gets on the horse and starts to leave when Nuriko pauses him for a moment. He tells her/him... "Miaka filled my heart... I love her... So I'll risk my life for her." He then rides off. Tama rides to Kutou, and Miaka runs in to Nakago... (oooh, scaaarrry) Episode 11: Tama-chan beats people up and has a run in with Nakago. (we know what happens) Tamahome finds Miaka, who then hides behind Yui because she is embarrassed about running away. Yui goes to get the scroll that Miaka has lost, and Tama looks down at Miaka... Tamahome: Miaka, why did you do this? Miaka: Because.... They go in to the room with all the junk. She doesn't face him. Tamahome: You say it's hard being protected by me... Why? Miaka: I can do it all myself. It's a problem between friends... So Tamahome. Tamahome: You say it's not my business. He lifts the top of the music box and it starts to play, and he looks at her. Tamahome: You think I'm trouble for you? Grabs her shoulders and kisses her, it is sorta long. They pull back and there is a shot of the music box handle spinning around in a circle. Miaka: Tamahome... Tamahome: Even if I'm trouble for you, I don't give a damn.... because I'm in love with you! Her eyes glow... Miaka: You're not trouble for me. Back in my world I couldn't forget about you, that's why I came back. I love you too much to have you in danger. He pulls her close to him. Tamahome: What a fool. There is a pause, pouring rain, lightning, and then the wonderful music from the box. He kisses her again, long and passionate, shown through the bars of the music box. His hand is on her face while the other is wrapped tightly around her. Later, Yui takes Miaka in to Seiryuu's hall or whatever you call it. He tries to get in after her first pathetic whine, but gets thrown back and is greeted by Chichiri. He knows that something is happening in there and wants to get in, so he slams his hand in to the barrier and comes through for Miaka. With torn clothes, and bruises he comforts her in his arms. After a slight hesitation, he and Miaka go through Chichiri's kasa. Episode 12: Miaka wakes up in Taiits-kun's place, naked and in bed with Tamahome, who is also naked... : ) They fight over their one sheet until Tamahome falls out of the bed.... : ) He gets upset cause "they saw him." Miaka stays in her room, and Tamahome is waiting for her outside her door. He is depressed cause no matter how many times he calls her, she doesn't answer. When she finally comes out, she goes to Chichiri even though Tamahome has open arms. Miaka wants to forget her feelings for Tamahome, because of Yui (who I don't like at ALL!) Tamahome gets angry with Hotohori for hugging her when they return and they exchange dirty looks. She runs off with Nuriko and Tamahome turns and says ... "That little bitch!" He barges in to Miaka's room... "Miaka, we're going to talk!" He went to her to find out why she is ignoring him, in the middle of her sentence he kisses her ... (I love that!) then throws her on to the bed, leaning over her. Miaka: Let go. Tamahome: I won't let go. You're talking nonsense and I can't say I understand. Miaka: You don't understand. Tamahome: I don't. Miaka: You didn't understand. Hotohori walks in and puts his sword to Tamahome's neck. Miaka walks up but Tama puts his arm out and she backs off... He tells Hotohori that he loves Miaka and he won't give her up to anybody. Hotohori walks out, basically threatening Tama's life. Anyway, Miaka yells at him because he could have been killed and he once again pushes her on to the bed. Tamahome: "When you're concerned, do you think I give a damn?" He goes on to explain what the character on his forehead means to him NOW. ... "It means living for you, and protecting you." She throws her arm around him and he puts his around her. Miaka: "Can you be with me forever? I'll never part from you." Tamahome: "Of course you idiot." They hold each other. Episode 13: In the room continued from the last scene ... An assassin comes in the room and wants Tamahome. Miaka begs Tama not to go, and he says he won't, but he knows that the villages attacked were close to his, and once Miaka is asleep, he kisses her and leaves. Miaka can't believe that he left and his note was no reassurance. Later, Hotohori tells Miaka what the last line in the note said ... "I love you." (that is so *AWESOME*) Episode 14: Miaka goes on a search to find the other Seishi and runs in to the bandits. She writes on a piece of paper Tamahome's name, and he appears and saves her from the men. She holds the paper after he disappears and cries.

Episode 15: - The bandits apologize to Miaka. She asks if any of them are/know of Tasuki (that's the bandit that has the character on his body). Everyone is clueless, but Genrou says he knows him. He says that Tasuki was their former leader and he is now dead. Next morning, they visit Tasuki's grave. Miaka is crushed because she needs all the seishi to summon Suzaku......and Tama won't come back till they are all assembled. A bandit says that he's heard a rumor that there is someone who can revive dead people in a village to the north, Choukou. Miaka decides to go there. The gang leaves as Genrou and Koji watch. Koji suggests that Genrou really wants to go with them.....but he denies it. It's obvious he wants to though. The gang makes a pit stop, and Hotohori gets Miaka some fresh water. He tells her that they will get Tama back and not to worry. Nuriko hears this and says that he (Nuriko) has given up Hotohori because he (Hotohori) loves Miaka too much. (this is said after Hotohori leaves of course). Yui wakes up Tama because she thought that he went back to Miaka. As Yui and Tama talk, Nakago comes and says that he needs to have a word with her. Spies tell him that Miaka is having a hard time gathering the seishi, being that Tasuki is dead. Yui orders them to continue watching Miaka and her sei. The gang arrives in Choukou. The mirror tells them that one of the sei is in Choukou!!! Miaka rejoices, but at the same time crashes into a young woman. In return, Miaka carries her to her destination. The woman's name is Shoka. They arrive at a house, where Shoka revives a dead man right before their eyes!!!!! A man in the house tells Miaka and the gang that their is a horrible disease called Shikkonki that is plaguing the village. It causes lots of pain for whoever catches it and doctors have no cure. Shoka revives the people that die from it and returns them to a healthy state. Miaka asks Shoka to revive Tasuki, but Shoka says that she will lose her ability if she leaves the village. So Miaka and the gang venture back to bring Tasuki's coffin to Choukou. Miaka comes down with a high fever on the way, and to make things worse.....they get attacked by zombies! Genrou appears and burns the zombies with the tessen. He then reveals to the gang that HE is Tasuki by showing them the character on his arm!!! He says that he couldn't just leave and go against the former leaders wishes....so he had to decieve them, but now they have the 5th seishi!! Miaka collaspes from her fever and they take her back to Choukou. Miaka rests. Shoka tells them that she has Shikkonki and she can't do anything for her unless she dies. Miaka suggests that they find a doctor. Tamahome and Yui hear about Miaka getting a deadly disease and are both saddened. But Yui reminds herself that she was betrayed by Miaka and in that case deserves to die. The gang vists a doctor, who tells them that their only hope is Myojuan, a doctor that lives in the mountains. Miaka sees a fish on the ground and goes for it but at the same time so does an old man. They fight for it and the old man escapes with it....the gang follows him to his house. They peek in and see that he has lots of medicines around and realize that this man is Myojuan! They ask for his help, but Myojuan isn't exactly the friendly type and kicks them out saying that he isn't a doctor anymore. Now back at Shoka's house (i think) Miaka's disease worsens and starts experiencing agonizing pain. Shoka says that the pain is worse then death and that they should kill Miaka right now. She will revive her ASAP and Miaka will regain her strength. Hotohori volunteers to kill Miaka and tells everyone else to leave. He hold up his sword... Episode 16: Tama tries to escape when he learns that Miaka has a fatal disease... "I can't bear for her to be in pain." Tamahome is whipped by Nakago (that is why I hate him so much, he beat Tamahome just because he wanted to see Miaka, what an asshole) He, meaning Nakago, tells Tamahome never to say SuzakuNoMiko's name again. When Tamahome is dropped to the floor, he says Miaka .. (take that Nakago!) Miaka wakes up from having a dream about the "cute blond" that was going to eat Tamahome, and she says that is anyone is going to eat him, she wants it to be her. Episode 17: The gang (now made up of Miaka, Nuriko, Mits, Tasuki, and Hotohori) are sleeping. (i have no idea where....prolly just some abandoned house) Miaka is studying for her exams, outloud, and Nuriko tells her to shutup. He thinks that the mirror might be broken cause it hasn't shown any sign of a seishi in a while. A flute starts playing and Miaka hears it, but no one else does. Now continuing their journey, they approach Tamahome's village. Miaka remember's his sick father and drags Mits to Tama's house to heal him...which he does. In return, Chuei runs out to get some fresh fish for Mits's cat. (his cat comes along for the journey as well...it's sooo cute!!!) The rest of the gang comes in and Hotohori looks around and can't believe how poor they are. Chuei returns, with his hair in a style like Tamahome's (they look exactly alike) and Miaka jumps on him thinking it's Tama. Later, Miaka is looking at a window and Nuriko calls her for dinner, so Miaka speeds off. But outside a window, a Kutou spy is watching. In Kutou, Tamahome wakes up a few days after he was beaten by Nakago...Yui by his side of course. He starts asking about Miaka and Yui gets upset. She kisses him!!! She tells him that she loves him and runs off...leaving a very confused Tama. That night, Miaka is brushing her teeth and sees bats hanging outside her window. Nuriko tells her that bats don't attack people.....if they are normal bats that is. Miaka goes to bed, and hears the flute playing again, but no one else hears it. She ventures outside to see what it is and gets attacked by swarms of bats!! Tasuki and Hotohori try to save her but get attacked as well. A spy in a tree watching this is saying "Go bats, devour the Miko." The flute starts playing again, this time a different tune, and the bats start dying. (the spy dies also) The person that was playing the flute, a

boy of about 15, walks up to Miaka and everyone. He explains that through his flute he sent out his chi which killed them....then he collapes. As Miaka is comforting him, they all spot a character on his side.......it's Chiriko, the last seishi!!!!! Nakago (who somehow knows everything that happens with Miaka and her seishi....i dunno if it's part of his power or what but he just knows) says to himself that all the Suzaku Sei have been found....but the game has just begun. The gang, with Chiriko, leave Tama's house for Konan. Chichiri, disguised as the emperor (and VERY bored), greets the gang upon arrival. Hotohori, who managed to sneak by everyone, come out in his royal robes. Tasuki, Mits, and Chiriko find out that Hotohori is the emperor. At dinner, they all discuss getting Tamahome and the scroll back from Kutou. Miaka says that she will go, and Chichiri volunteers to go with her, but suggest that they tell Tama that they are coming. Tamahome thinks about how Yui and Miaka both love him and that he has never had this problem before. He then hears Chichiri's voice calling him.........Nakago also gets the feeling that a Suzaku sei is nearby. Miaka washes up cause she's all excited that she gets to talk to Tamahome. Chichiri, using a spell, will arrange it so that Miaka and Tama can see each other and talk!! (he's cool isn't he?) As Miaka quickly runs through the palace, she wizzes by Hotohori and Tasuki. Tasuki, insensitive as he is, realizes that there is triangle between Miaka, Hoto, and Tama.....but Nuriko give him a punch (hehehe :P). Miaka sits in front of a folding screen, and Chichiri casts his spell. Slowly, Tama starts to appear........ Episode 18: The wall... Miaka runs in to it and creates red sparkles. She tells Tamahome that his father was healed. He tells her when the moon is straight up. Touch hands and kiss and he says ... "I love you." She continues to kiss the wall and Chichiri is standing there ... "Ano... Ano." Yui puts Tamahome's hand on a part of her body that his hand shouldn't be on... (stupid slut) and he says ... "I can't make love to you. I love someone so deeply that I am devoted to protecting that someone. That someone is Miaka, so I'm not interested in you that way." (YES! YES! Take that YUI!!.. actually, I think he let her down pretty well.) Nuriko brings Miaka love and affection dolls to write her and Tamahome's name on, and when she does, they split. (not a good thing) On the way to the meeting place to see Miaka and go back, he is drugged by Yui (spaz-woman) and doesn't make it to the tree. His last word before turning in to Evil Tamahome is ... MIAKA. Episode 19: Tamahome walks in to the room where Miaka and Yui were "talking" . Yui threw Miaka in to Tamahome backwards, and she turned and immediately hugged him. He threw her off of him in to the table where the music box fell and then he broke her arm with the nunchucks. He then tries to kill her, but misses her head and knocks the ribbon out of her hair. He picks it up after he gives her to the guards and puts it in his sash. Miaka is taken away but it is really Chichiri disguised as Nakago. She couldn't believe that Tamahome would do that. Episode 20: She waits under the huge oak tree and he hugs her saying it hurt him having to do those things to her, but it was all a lie. (yah, I'd break her arm too if I was joking around...) She shows him the letter he had written to her and he laughs, tearing it into pieces. He tries to kill her again, but Tasuki saves her and fights Tamahome and gets pissed when he learned that this was the man that Miaka was so happy about seeing. As they are leaving Miaka says "Goodbye" to Tamahome and even under the spell, he cries.... Episode 21: Tamahome once again can't make love to Yui because he sees Miaka's face. He goes outside and holds her ribbon and asks himself why he sees this girl's face and decides that he has to kill her and get her out of his mind. Miaka goes to Tamahome's room and hugs his clothes, then falls to his bedside in tears. She runs away thinking that there is nothing left for her, and there is no purpose now for her to be there. She goes to the river and sees Tamahome's face and goes in... (I can understand that she is screwed up, but why would Tamahome be in the river?) Hotohori saves her and sleeps by her bedside, and all the while she is still thinking about Tamahome. Tama shows up and is determined to kill Miaka and is greeted by a REALLY pissed off Hotohori. Episode 22: After Hotohori stabs Tamahome, Miaka runs to him. He tries to grab the sword to kill SuzakuNoMiko. Miaka takes the sword and puts it in his hands. Miaka: It'll be ok if you kill me. So don't die. I love you Tamahome. I'll always, always, love you. Then she kisses him. Miaka: I love you. Tamahome: This voice, this hair, ... these lips. He drops the sword and his symbol reappears. Tamahome: Miaka. Miaka: The character? Tamahome: What's this? You're crying... sorry... when the moon was straight up... we promised. But I was late. Miaka: Uh-uh. You made it. Just now, it's straight up... I can finally see you Tamahome, TAMAHOME! She hugs him and he's in pain, so Mitsukake heals him and his earring drops... the sun comes out after all the rain. Tamahome and Miaka are now in some gazebo thing and he is depressed and feels bad, so Miaka tries to make him

feel better. She tells him all the bad things he did when he was Evil Tamahome. Needless to say, it didn't work. Then he says... "Even drugged it wasn't acceptable for me to hurt you...... I find it hard to face you." Miaka: Maybe you SHOULD feel that way. Although you said you'd be with me, you left me. I'm pissed off. I had a love affair. He stood up and looked shocked. Miaka: That's a lie. Almost, but I didn't. I don't need compensation from you. It's enough that you've come back. Please stay with me. Don't leave me again. Hold me like this forever. Tamahome: Yes... I promise this time, I'll never leave you again. They held each other and kissed. Tamahome: No matter what happens, I'll never leave you again. Episode 23: Miaka rushes to Tamahome's room and finds him counting his money. He once again promises that he will never leave again and they go to breakfast. Miaka runs off after talking to Hotohori and walks over, literally, Tamahome. She asks him what he would wish for and he says "That's easy." and he sees himself surrounded by gold coins. Miaka asks him if he would like to be slugged, and he says... "Not true, If I had one wish it would to never be separated from you my whole life." Miaka goes to purify herself in the water and Tamahome goes out looking for her. He finds her naked under the waterfall. She quickly hides behind a rock, and he walks in to see her, throwing his shirt at her so she can cover herself. He then hands back to her the ribbon that he had knocked out of her hair. He doesn't know how he got it. She's happy, because he still remembered her even under the drug, and then she hugs him from behind. Episode 24: Miaka TRIES to call the god, but Amiboshi spoils it and then tries to kill them. Their heads hurt and Tamahome still manages to call out her name. Tasuki and Tamahome go after him so Miaka makes Chichiri take her to them. Amiboshi tries to hit her, but with Tamahome there, he doesn't get very far. Amiboshi falls in to the river. (BYE!! See ya in a few episodes! I'm glad he comes back, 'cause I think he's cool) They go back and try to call Suzaku with the REAL Chiriko, but instead Taiitsu-kun appears. She puts Miaka down telling her that she failed and Tamahome calls her an old bag. Then Miaka is disgraced with herself and Tama goes to comfort by putting his hand on her shoulder, but doesn't. They listen to what Taiitsu-kun has to say and Miaka decides to get the Shinzaho. Episode 25: Tamahome puts his hand on her hand and says "Don't forget about me." Meaning, that he is going to go with her to get the Shinzaho. Taiits-kun kicks everyone out and talks to Miaka. Tamahome wonders why it is taking Miaka so long and Miaka finally comes out. Later, Miaka wonders to Tamahome's door. Once inside he asks her why she came to his room and her reply is "Just wanted to see you." Tamahome: Shoot, I figured you came here to make passionate love to me. Miaka: What's that?! She hovers over his pants with hot tea. Tamahome: NOTHING at all. She drinks her tea and he stares at her leaning on his hand. Miaka: What is it? Something on my face? Tamahome: No. Just want to be able to look at you forever. He gets up and turns his back to her while she continues to drink. Tamahome: Miaka, I've saved money for myself and my family. Miaka: Oh. Tamahome: I'm at a marriageable age now. Sooner or later I'll be independent. If it's possible I'll build us a new house. We won't be rich, but we'll be happy. She drinks some more and he twiddles with his fingers. Tamahome: I want to have boys. I-I mean what I want to say is... I want us to marry. She drops the cup on the table. Miaka: Who's us? Tamahome slams his fist on the table. Tamahome: Who else except you?! Getting together when everything's over is fine. If you visit your world you won't be able to get back for a while.... so before you do, please meet my father, if you don't mind. Marry me.... Marry me. She stands up. Miaka: Don't make trouble now. Besides, I'm only 15. Tamahome: It's a marriageable age. It's the same for me. She turns her back to him. Miaka: Marriageable age? Is it? Tamahome: I've thought it over. I'll work hard, I won't give you a hard time. Forever, I'll be there to protect you. He put his hand on her shoulder. Tamahome: I'll make you happy, I mean it.Miaka: What are you talking about? How ridiculous. What's with the serious bit?

Ouch. He face in shock. Miaka: I'm SuzakuNoMiko, you're just one of the one of the Seishi protecting Miko. I just showed you a bit of affection and you got serious on me. Tamahome: Hey. Miaka: Boys, are like that. He grabbed her hand. Tamahome: Hey! You're NOT serious! You're not right, Miaka. Miaka: Sorry Tamahome, I have no special feelings for you. Hey, it's just a play. Don't be so serious. She pulled her hand away. Miaka: I came here to tell you that. His face once again showed disbelief. Miaka: Goodnight Tamahome. Tamahome: How come? How come MIAKA!? She walked out and shut the door then collapsed on the floor in tears. The next morning she sees him and waves hi, he just stands there with his chest raised not saying a word. Episode 26: Tamahome finds Miaka on the bridge and has to talk to her. They go between two buildings to talk. Tamahome: Hey you, what did Taiits-kun say to you? Miaka: Nothing. He leaned his hand against the wall beside her. Tamahome: You're lying. I proposed to you, I won't give up. Give me a reason, otherwise, I... Miaka tells him what happened and he gets pissed. Tamahome: Throw away your feelings. Miaka: It's hard and painful... but we can't love each other anymore. Tamahome: There's got to be another way. Throw away our feelings? Don't touch each other? What a laugh. I CAN'T DO THAT! Until calling Suzaku... He punched the wall and turned his hand to touch her face, but didn't. Tamahome: I understand. He runs off and then turns around. Tamahome: Listen, Miaka, until Suzaku is called, I'll protect you as a Seishi, but when Suzaku appears, then I'll make you the happiest bride in the world. Tamahome is standing next to Miaka and Tasuki says that Tamahome was dumped by Miaka. Then get in to a fight. Miaka takes a picture of them and Tasuki thinks that there is an impostor in the picture. They take a group pic. Hotohori tells Tamahome to bring his family to Konan so they will be safe while he is gone. Tamahome gets extremely happy and wants Miaka to go with him. They buy a ball for Yuiren and go to his house. Once they get there they find out that his family is... Episode 27: Miaka cries for Tamahome's family, which was lying dead on the floor. Tamahome was in profound pain himself. He buried his family and politely explains to Miaka that he wants to be alone with tears streaming down his face. He came back the next morning and gave Miaka the acorn necklace that Yuiren had made for his bride. Episode 28: Summary of last 27 episodes. Zzzzzzzzz. Episode 29: On the boat... Tamahome tells Miaka that he swore in front of his father's grave that he would devote his life to protecting the one person has left, her. Miaka goes in to his room on the boat to give his food. As she fixes the blanket he grabs her and holds her in his sleep. When he wakes up Miaka told him that he grabbed her first. Tamahome: "Is that so... Wish I'd gone further. Oh, shit." Miaka slaps him.... "What's with the 'oh, shit' business?" He tells Miaka that he was able to pull himself together because he has her. Keisuke tells her to come back, but she refuses so can stay with Tamahome. A storm hits and Tasuki falls in to the water. Miaka goes after him, doesn't know how to swim, so Tamahome goes in after her. Tasuki gets back on the boat and Nuriko ended up in the water with them. They swim to a rock and Miaka gets pulled away, so Tamahome goes after her and brings her back. He hands Miaka to Nuriko and then he gets struck by lightning- again. Episode 30: In the cave, Miaka takes off her clothes. Later, when the cave begins to crumble he covers her body with his own, and his face ends up some place where it shouldn't have been, and gets wacked for it. The rock falls apart outside under Miaka's feet and she falls in the water. Tama goes after her and then is held there in the water by Nuriko. They get back on the boat and Soi shows up. She puts the Seishi under some lightning barrier thing, and then goes after Miaka. Miaka uses Hotohori's sword to reflect the lightning back at Soi. Soi goes away, and Tamahome runs up to Miaka and hugs her. (Once again forgetting that he can't touch her.) Tamahome__ "You dumb fool. I thought you were dead meat. You gave me such a scare." He continues to hold her when the boulder moves and clears a path for them straight in to Hokkan. Tamahome saves a boy and they all gather in the house to learn about GenbuNoMiko. Tamahome asks the old man ... "After GenbuNoMiko called Genbu, did she return to her world?" He wanted to know for sure if Miaka would go away, and Miaka knew that was why he asked.

Episode 31: In Hokkan, Tamahome is teaching the boy he saved how to ride the horse when Miaka walks up smiling. All kids love Tamahome. He sends the boy off and then turns his attention to Miaka, saying that when he first met her it was like having another little sister. Then he says that he loves her and asks her WHERE they should spend the rest of their lives together, saying that he doesn't want her to go back to her world, because he doesn't know if he can go there. She thinks about it and decides that she wants to stay with Tamahome in the book world. He holds her even though they shouldn't be touching, and she jumps up throwing her arms around his neck. They remain there holding each other. (It's so sweet, especially the way he tells her that he doesn't want her to go) Later, they take off on horses to go in search of the shinzaho, heading for Tolan. While on the horse Miaka is amazed by the snow, that it snows in her world too. Then she rests her head on Tamahome's back. There they eat and discuss what they are going to do and how they should split up. Tamahome obviously is going to be with Miaka. Nuriko also decides to go with them, then cuts his hair off. Tamahome ends up going with this guy to find a scholar, which is the guy's father, to read the ancient script on the Genbu Monument, leaving Miaka with Nuriko... and Ashitare.(How typical.. Actually I was shocked that Tamahome wasn't there to save him himself.) Episode 32: After talking with Yui, Tamahome walks around feeling sorry for himself because he is "only a character in a book." Ashitare goes after Miaka and Nuriko, in which Nuriko uses the flare Chiriko gave them to blow out Ashitare's eye, sending him running away in pain. Tamahome comes back and is then hit with a huge snowball that Nuriko had made. They go inside and Tama is still upset about being only a character, and him and Miaka have a little tiff at the table in their room at the inn... "What's with you?" Tamahome then goes downstairs to the bar, to drink. Nuriko follows him and also joins him in a drink. The next morning Tamahome has a slight hangover after having a few "Nuriko Specials." They are by the horses and Nuriko then wins an argument with Tamahome to see who should be off to find the shinzaho... He is by the horse trough with Miaka when he tells her that he saw Yui. Miaka once again sits there in her little THOUGHT PROCESSION. Episode 33: I decided to add more to this one... Nuriko is off to open the entrance to the Shinzaho of the Genbu, but he ends up meeting Ashitare. They fight for a long time, for out more of the episode (well... I may be exaggerating a bit) But something goes awry. Tamahome and Miaka suddenly feel that something is wrong with Nuriko and rush to him. Once there, they see a very bloody, distraught, almost dead,... Nuriko. Tamahome makes a fire to signal to the other seishi, specifically Mitsukake. When Nuriko passed away, Miaka refuses to believe that her best friend was now dead. She runs off in utter dispair and collapses... crying in the snow. Tamahome finds her by a tree and drags her to Nuriko's body, so she can say her final farewell. Episode 34: They bury Nuriko and go in to the cave in search of the shinzaho. Inside, the door randomly shuts, and Miaka falls on to a pile of human skeleton bones. Tamahome protects her from ice arrows, twice... and she rests on his lap. They meet the two Genbu Seishi protecting the shinzaho. She gets hit by these ice-sucker things... Tama goes after her, but Tasuki is the one who eventually gets the ice off of her with his fire. Tama and Tasuki fight the other Seishi, but don't get very far, because they are thought forms and have no bodies that CAN be harmed. Miaka goes to the Genbu Seishi, kneeling before them and begs them to let her have the shinzaho... They decide that she has to prove that she is really Suzaku no Miko, and put her through a test. They make her take off her clothes, leaving her in a sexy under garment and Tamahome doesn't want anyone to look at her. She is then placed in ice and told to get out of it. She gets out of it, and Tamahome runs to her saying that she makes his life shorter, groping her breasts, which he gets slugged for. They go and receive the shinzaho, but get the news that they also need to get the Byakko no Miko's shinzaho. Tamahome pictures his marriage crumbling, along with happiness and family. Tamahome walks off saying they might as well go then, Miaka runs up to him from behind and hugs him... He smirks and looks back... How many times has he either groped her or at least seen her breasts? Sheesh what a perv ^-^ Episode 35: After leaving the cave, Ashitare seizes the shinzaho from Miaka's hand and runs away with her following him. After all her hard so far, and Nuriko dying, she didn't want to give up the shinzaho that easily. She trips and he gets away. "Taiits-kun" just randomly appears and she is told that the only way she can get the shinzaho back, is if she seduces Nakago. Naturally, she doesn't want to sleep with Nakago, because if she didn't have to be a virgin, she would have been with Tamahome. He goes looking for Miaka and also finds "Taiits-kun", who then tells him that Miaka is back at HER place because she has that thing that only happens to females. Tamahome doesn't want to argue with that, and simply leaves a message for Miaka telling her to meet up with them as soon as possible. Miaka goes on her way to find Nakago, which she does with a little help from the food that is creating a wonderful smell that Miaka just can't resist. Nakago pins her against the wall and tells Miaka that he took his armor off for her and that she should let him enjoy her... In tears, Nakago rips open her shirt. Episode 36: Tamahome finds Nakago after riding around on his horse looking for Miaka. He had sensed that something was wrong with her. Nakago, to taunt him, tells him that Miaka's "skin is soft and even though she is a kid, her body is that of an adult's." Needless to say, that pisses Tamahome off and he blows a hole in Nakago's arm. He would have done more but Soi showed and saved the Shogun. Tamahome goes in to the tent where Miaka is lying on

the floor unconscious, in a very convincing rape style way. Yuirens's necklace is on the floor in pieces and Tamahome picks it up, knocking the remaining acorns off and one hits Miaka's finger waking her up. She sees Tamahome and screams, telling him not to look at her. On the horse traveling... they go to a river. Tamahome goes in to get some fresh fish and she grabs the jacket that he had taken off to do so. She holds it as if he were in it... thinking about what she had done whether or not Nakago really did something to her. She then goes in to the water after stripping and Tamahome watches her in shock. She goes rather deep and starts to scrub herself with a branch, making herself bleed. Tamahome is worried about her, he loves her so much and it hurts him to see her like this. When he tries to stop her she hits him and he leaves her in the water while he makes a fire to cook the fish. She gets out and wraps herself in Tamahome's jacket, keeping her back to him as he cooks the fish. After a little "Cat-cooking Bit", she tells him that she can't marry him after what happened. So Miaka is allowed to have a few random mental breakdowns). Episode 37: Tamahome refuses to take this news AT ALL. He grabs her from behind and hugs her saying sweetly and softly... "Show me your body." He turns her around and opens the jacket letting it fall to the ground. He slowly opens his eyes to see Miaka's naked body and how the setting sun is playing colors upon it. He tells her that her body is pure, and that no one would be able to rape her. He then kisses her lips. She squeaks because he touched one of the bruises on her hand, and he kisses that too. His head is on her chest and Miaka can't believe that he is being so nice about it. He still wants to marry her and make her the happiest bride in the world. Miaka runs away from him as soon as he is asleep and ends up falling off a cliff and hurting her leg. She is saved from a giant weasel by Amiboshi. (told you he'd be back)... actually he is Kaika, but they are the same person. Tamahome wakes up and is angered by the fact that Miaka has once again run off. Not only that, but by the fact that they swore that they would never separate again. He walks off in search of her and thinks about the pain that Nakago has put him through....First, his family, then his buddy Nuriko and now he took away something from the one dearest to him. Tomo magically shows up and turns Soi in to Miaka, making Tamahome happy since he is madly infatuated with her.. (you almost get a glimpse of what it must have been like for him when Miaka went back to her world and he was eating plates) (This is what I always refer to as the River Scene... I don't know why.) Episode 38: Soi and Tamahome kiss, while Amiboshi is on top of her without his shirt (they weren't doing anything for you sick minded people) He was giving her his chi so she could well, and he and Soi are both having fun with their chi. Tamahome is taken to a windmill society and there, as much as Soi tries to do to have sex with Tamahome, he can't do it knowing that there might still be a chance that Miaka can call the god, still thinking that she is Suzaku no Miko. While Tamahome is doing that, Miaka is refusing to drink the broth that Amiboshi brought for her so she can forget her sad past. Amiboshi goes to find Tamahome and Miaka runs away again. Tomo is having fun with Tamahome, saying that he is going to have his way with Miaka and Tama threatens to kill him, which just delights Tomo even more. Miaka ends up meeting up with Soi. Episode 39: Amiboshi saves Tamahome from Tomo's plant powers, and Miaka shows up screaming his name. They embrace and he makes sure that it is really her this time by pulling on her face. Then he finds out that she wasn't raped by Nakago, which makes him REALLY happy. Tamahome turns to Miaka, and Tomo's feathers enter his back, where he then falls off the cliff. Miaka gets sucked in to Tomo's clam, where she falls in love with Tomo's alter ego Aono. By the way, Aono looks like Tamahome. Through the whole thing she keeps seeing Tamahome's symbol and the library where her and Yui were transported in to the book world. She gets hit over the head with a soccer ball and a Tamahome look-a-like with Tomo's voice shows up in shorts.... Episode 40: Aono then tries to rape her, but she stabs him with a pencil(It was Aono's lucky pencil, which really wasn't lucky for him)... in the middle of his fore-head. Amiboshi breaks free of Tomo's vines and destroys the clam with his flute. Miaka then lands infront of them in her bra and underwear. Suboshi kills Tomo (bye bye), and then makes his brother drink the broth so he can forget.(Which is kind of sweet and you realize that you don't hate Suboshi as much as you thought...) Episode 41: Suboshi tries to rape Miaka(...Until here), but Tamahome shows up and saves her. Tamahome is cradling Miaka in his arms, when his "master" starts to gawk at Miaka's half naked body, Tama hits him and then he hits Tama. All the other Suzaku Seishi are now there, in which Miaka lets Suboshi get away. Miaka goes looking for Tamahome in the woods and finds him. He walks over to her and kisses her passionately, then tells her.. " This is the end of our relationship. I can't love you anymore. Forget about me... Good-bye." He walks off and Miaka falls to the ground in disbelief.(And this is where I hate Tokaki, well, until I see what he looks like young) Later she sees Tamahome talking with that girl that was adopted by his master. Miaka is upset that they are so close to each other. She ends up making dinner with that girl. Miaka and her talk and Tamahome is outside looking in at them really depressed. Miaka's food is awful and when Tamahome eats it he says... "It's gross. I can't stomach it. Pig swill is better." (personally, I don't know why he would say that to her, but I think he wants to make her fall out of love with him so she won't feel so bad... by making her think he is a jerk) Miaka walks off destroyed by the comment her lover made, and Tamahome ends up eating Miaka's food anyway. He has a stomach ache later and that girl comes to see him. She tells him that she was

sent there to help Tamahome forget about Miaka. He gets up and is about to kiss her when Miaka walks up in the doorway. He opens his eyes and is in shock, meanwhile Miaka is trying to stay calm and apologizes. Episode 42: The girl leaves and Miaka tells Tamahome that there is a tower she wants him to meet her at before the sun sets. If he doesn't dislike her, come... and if he doesn't come then she'll give him up. At first he doesn't go, he just sits there staring at the tower in the distance. When his "master" tells him not to go because he should end their relationship and his divine love for her before it is too late, Tamahome says "It's already too late." He goes there only to find the ribbon from her hair tied to a post blowing in the wind. He makes a comment about their relationship being like playing tag. He can't keep chasing her, because he can't "tag" her once she goes back to her world. Miaka thinks that she is dumped and is now determined to get Yui. She ends up meeting with Nakago, who takes away her voice and then punches her in the stomach, making her pass out. Episode 43: Tamahome looks for her. Miaka ends up losing the 2nd shinzaho to Yui because of her trusting nature. Tatara, plant boy, helps Miaka escape and goes after Yui himself, telling Miaka not to come after him. She wants to find Yui as well, but before she can, a group of Buddha's comes walking out and she hides. Coming out of hiding she is then taken back by the red monster with a zillion arms, and Tasuki blows it away. She falls and Tamahome catches her. She turns away from him... (I would too, he is such a jerk when he denies his love for her) Anyway, he pulls her to him and kisses her, telling her that they are not at the tower and it is passed sun set, but he is going to do everything he can to stay with her.(He is also the sweetest thing when he does show his love for her) It is around there that SHE learns that she will be sent back to her world and won't be able to stay with Tamahome. They ALL go to see Yui, who then disappears in to a wall with Nakago. Episode 44: Miboshi possesses Chiriko's body and Miaka is pulled away and electrocuted. The Byakko Seishi help her, by returning to their younger bodies. Miaka then has a voice. A HUGE monster tries to kill them all, and just as Miaka is about to be crushed Chiriko stabs his own hand to save her. He then kills himself by stabbing himself in the chest, also killing Miboshi in the process. Tamahome, Miaka, and Chichiri go to stop Yui, but are intercepted by Soi. The Byakko Seishi once again help and Miaka, Tamahome and Chichiri go on their way only to be stopped by Nakago. He taunts Tamahome again telling him that Miaka has soft lips and that they only kissed. Nakago then kisses Tamahome and knees him in that special area. He disappears, and when Miaka and Tamahome go through the door to the roof, they learn that Yui is on the OTHER roof and she is calling the god at that very moment. Episode 45: After Yui merged with the god, the buildings started to crumble, so Chichiri laid out his cape and they were back in Konan. Miaka woke up to Tamahome's face above her and she is so terrified. He holds her and then feels his powers leave his body; because of Yui's wish to seal Suzaku. They then find out that Hotohori has an empress and she looks just like Nuriko. (Nuriko had made a comment while waiting for Tamahome to return with news about where the Genbu Shinzaho was...He hoped that Hotohori would find a woman as kind and generally wonderful as him... I wonder what he reaction would have been if had found out that she actually LOOKED like him) Miaka is no longer a Miko and Tamahome is no longer a Seishi, which means that they can marry and do what ever they want to do. They decide that they are going to fight against Kutou, and even Miaka decides to help out. Later that night in Miaka's room, Tamahome walks in to make sure that Miaka really wants to go and fight in the war with him. She tells him yes... "Besides... I don't want to be apart from you even for a moment." Tamahome: I'm feeling selfish. He turns his back to her. Tamahome: Deep down, I'm relieved you aren't able to call Suzaku. Since you're not Miko anymore, we can just be a guy and a girl. It's so selfish of me under the circumstances. But even with all this going on, I want you. He turns to her in a smile. Tamahome: What's with me? It's not right when the country's in danger. We need to win the war first. See-ya... get plenty of rest. He walks off and Miaka grabs him from behind wrapping her arms around him. Miaka: Tonight...Tonight...together... Tonight...make me.... Tamahome's bride. He grabs her hand and his eyes... Tamahome: Miaka. He turns her around and kisses her. They hold each other tightly. They are naked and in bed, ready to finally do something, when Miaka's stomach starts to make noises. Tamahome simply laughs. Tamahome: Why don't we rest tonight, save the rest for later. Like on our wedding day. The next morning Tasuki runs to Miaka's room asking her where Tamahome is and finds them together in bed sleeping in each other's arms. (I would love to be Miaka right then) They then go off to fight, and Tamahome lands on the ground because of a little test the Seiryuu Seishi had for him to make sure that Yui's wish worked. When Yui sees that Miaka and Tamahome are still together she decides that she is going to make her next wish and separate them for good. She wishes for her and Miaka to be sent back to their world and to close off every way for Miaka to be able to return. Miaka disappears and lands back in her school, of all places. She looks around and can't believe what is going

on. A small noise coming from the floor makes her look down and see Tamahome lying on the floor unconscious, back-firing Yui's wish to separate them. Episode 46: Miaka can't believe that he is really there and pokes him to make sure that he is real. Since he is lying on the floor, unawake, she doesn't know what to do with him, and calls home. Keisuke picks up the phone and then brings Tamahome to their house. They put him in pajamas taking him out of his armor and he is still unconscious. Later, Tamahome wakes up in the room and doesn't know where is. He looks outside and realizes that he is no longer in his world. When Miaka comes him, he wants to go back. Everyone is fighting in the war, and he has to be there to help them. Miaka asks him how he got to her world, and he says that while she being surrounded by blue light, he didn't want her going anywhere without him, so he grabbed onto her ankle. Miaka wakes up the next morning, feelings strange that she is actually back in her world. She walks into the room where Tamahome is sleeping and can't believe that he is there. She touches him, and leans down to kiss him when Keisuke pops up from beside him in the bed. Miaka freaks out because they in the same bed together. Tamahome walks out of the room as soon as Miaka's mother leaves. Miaka offers to make breakfast and her brother and Tamahome make a face. She makes breakfast anyway, and Tamahome is fascinated with the TV, and that there are people in it. Miaka forces them to eat. Keisuke cleans Tamahome up and puts him in modern clothes. Miaka's eyes bulge out of her head, as she sees Tamahome looking so good. They go out and Tamahome is so surprised by the train thinking that it is a really fast wagon. Episode 47: Miaka wonders around with them, wondering what it would have been like if Tamahome was really part of her world. They go bowling and Miaka gets a strike, while Tamahome gets a gutter ball. When they go to dinner Keisuke pulls Miaka away to the phones, leaving Tamahome alone at the table. While is trying to order some food, Miaka and Keisuke talk about how Tamahome can't exist there because he is a 2-dimensional character from a book... That everything was created for him. He hears this and completely freaks out, running away into downtown Tokyo. Miaka goes after him, but loses him in the crowd. While searching for Tamahome, Miaka meets up with Yui and Suboshi, who then chases after her. Tamahome wonders around thinking, and sits on a bench. He doesn't know what to think. He loves Miaka, but can they be together? After seeing a couple rehearse for a show in the park, he realizes that it doesn't matter. He runs to find her, and does. Suboshi has her tied up with his killer yo-yos and is choking her. Tamahome walks up and turns Suboshi's attention to him. Tamahome talks to Miaka while he prepares to fight, telling her that he is all right, because even though she knew he was a character in a book, she loved him anyway. Episode 48: They fight, and Tamahome runs around trying not to get killed by the yo-yo that Suboshi has sent on him. Since Tamahome has no more powers, he tries to get the yo-yo to hit Suboshi. Randomly, Tamahome's family appears and they hold Suboshi while his yo-yo goes right through his chest and kills him. Tamahome is completely worn out and passed out on the street. Tetsuya and Keisuke take him back to the house. Miaka learns that Hotohori is dying and talks to him through the book. Keisuke is in Tamahome's room when he wakes up, and he asks Tama if he would go back into the book, to save Miaka, because everything is off balance and he is afraid that Miaka will die. Episode 49: Tamahome agrees, saying that he wants to write her a note first. Miaka goes to Yui, who said that she would be waiting for her at school. Miaka tells Yui that she wasn't raped, but Yui refuses to believe and runs away. Miaka remembers that Tamahome is still at her house and runs home to find him getting ready to leave with his armor on. Miaka: You were going back without telling me? Tamahome: I have to go. I'm a character in a book. But you're not. I came here and realized this is where you belong. This is where you live. Miaka: But you said we'd never separate! He puts his hands on her shoulders. Tamahome: When I was ignorant, I said selfish things. But now I understand what Tatara said... 'Forever... my feelings will always be with you.' Miaka looks away. Tamahome: It just occurred to me, that our meeting was destined to be. It's possible I'm in this world somewhere, but not as me. Not a 'created me', but a real me. ...What? What am I talking about? Miaka looks up at him. Miaka: Why?! Why do you say that? I can't be happy, Tamahome, without you. You said you'd love me forever didn't you? She runs up to him and hugs him. Miaka: That we'd be together forever. Tamahome, you're not created. For me... you're my darling. Please, don't say separate. I'll do anything you want. I'll even be a better cook. Please... Tamahome... please. She starts to cry. Tamahome grabs her and hugs her. Tamahome: Marry me. A wedding ceremony by ourselves. How do you do it in this world? Tell me... Miaka pulls out two rings. Miaka: I bought these rings at a street stall yesterday. Each for one of our ring fingers. We'll swear our feelings forever. She puts the ring on his finger and he puts it on hers, then they clench each other's hand.

Tamahome: Now we're husband and wife. Lots of things have happened, but nothing will interfere with us. We've become one person. I love you. Miaka: I love you. They kiss... "Forever.. Episode 50: Miaka leaves the cab she was in, trying to get to Tamahome. She runs past the police into the fire searching for him. Tamahome is still fighting with Nakago. Nakago is pleased with Tamahome's persistence and licks him.(I don't know why he does that... I really don't) As Miaka looks around for Tamahome, she finds Yui. Nakago tells Tamahome that Miaka is where Yui is, and then blasts his chi at Tamahome sending him through a glass wall, killing him... "I wasn't able to protect you." Miaka meets up with Nakago trying to get Yui out of a barrier that he put her in. Miaka wants to know where Tamahome is and can't believe that he is dead. Nakago tries to kill Miaka by throwing rocks at her. Yui saves her by telling Nakago that she will make her third wish. Miaka falls to the ground in pain and looks up at Yui, telling her that she doesn't have to do anything Nakago tells her. Yui reveals to Miaka that she was jealous of her and Tamahome, and that she doesn't hate her. Then she says bye to Miaka, knowing that when she makes her third and last wish she will be consumed by the animal god. When Yui is gone and Seiryuu is hovering over the city, Miaka goes after Nakago screaming at him because of what he did to Yui and Tamahome. He blows his chi at her and she goes flying, landing on the ground unconscious. Nakago walks over to her, about to finish her off, when Tasuki and Chichiri show up and stand in front of her... protecting her. Episode 51: As Tasuki and Chichiri are about to take on Nakago, prepared to die,... Miaka starts speaking behind them....... From the sky... Please come down to us." Miaka merges with the god. The seishi powers are back. Miaka then wishes for Yui to come back, and Yui comes in a blue bubble. As Nakago is about to drop a building on Miaka,... Nuriko and the other dead Seishi show up to save her, minus Tamahome. Tamahome is in a "dream world" where is about to get married to Miaka. Everyone dead and alive are there. He has a talk with his father, and his father tells him that he should listen to who's calling him. Which is Miaka. Tamahome then knows that he can't die, and he has to go back and save her. Tamahome shows up through the smoke and blasts his own red chi at Nakago starting the battle of... "The sadness of blue, and the pain of red." Episode 52: Tamahome comes and Miaka is happy to see him alive. He wants to kill Nakago and everyone sends their chi to him, with Miaka's love being the conductor. While fighting, they realize that Tamahome still can not beat Nakago unless they seal his powers. So Chiriko suggests that they seal Seiryuu into the deity's scroll, which is what Miaka's second wish is. Because Nakago's power is lost, Tamahome is able to punch a hole right through his chest... killing him. Tamahome and Miaka hug, and Miaka makes her last wish, despite the fact that everyone wants her and Tamahome to be together. She and Tamahome hold onto each other, as they appear naked. Miaka and Tamahome hold each other tighter and tighter, until he disappears. Miaka is left there standing... shaking her head 'no' as she cries. Miaka finds Tamahome's note and reads it... He knew that he would be gone by the time that she read it, and he told her that he would find her no matter what it took. And that he couldn't wait until the day when he could say "Wo ai ni." Later, after she passes the high school exams to Yotsubadai academy. Keisuke takes her to see a new freshman that had arrived that spring. She walks up and covers her mouth with her hands, crying... as Tamahome is standing there holding up his ring saying... "I've finally met you." ... Screen blacks out, and a picture comes up of a single red feather in a white background with characters saying "Wo ai ni." I love you
