An important dua

My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of those who show mercy! (23:118)
2. This is the dua which Prophet Musa (peace be upon him) had made. Allaah granted him a good wife,
job and shelter when he invoked Allaah reading this dua.

My Lord! Truly, I am in need of whatever good that You bestow on me! (28:24)
3. The below dua is to ask Allaah to make the wife and children a peace of eyes (and hence asking for a
good wife).

Our Lord! Bestow on us from our wives and our offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and make
us leaders for the Muttaqn (pious) (25:74)
4. This dua was done by Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him). This dua is a must for the one who has
children. It asks to make the children, a serenity of the eyes. The second ayah is asking forgiveness for
one self and ones parents.

O my Lord! Make me one who performs As-Salt (Iqmat-as-Salt), and (also) from my offspring, our Lord!
And accept my invocation. (14-40)

Our Lord! Forgive me and my parents, and (all) the believers on the Day when the reckoning will be
established. (14-41)
5. A Quranic dua for asking Allaah to bestow mercy on the parents as they showed us the mercy when we
were young!

My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was small. (17-24)
