4.1 GENERAL The hydrostatic bursting pressure test results are divided to two types. Type one is the Ambient Temperature test results where the tests were performed at ambient temperature. The second type is the high temperature test were the testes were performed at varying temperature conditions namely 60, 70, 80 oC respectively to simulate the domestic cold and hot water applications. 4.2. AMBIENT TEMPERATURE TEST RESULTS 4.2.1 Bursting Pressure The bursting pressure tests were

4.2.2 Bursting stress The bursting stress results are included to take care of the thickness variations. As observed that for the same size ( or ) and same pressure rating (PN20) each manufacture specifies different pipe wall thickness so by considering the stress beside the pressure performance a complete figure can be obtained. The bursting stress results for the PPR pipes at ambient temperature are shown in Tables 4.4 to 4.9 .

4.3 High Temperature test results:

4.3.1 Bursting pressure:

The bursting pressure hot test results are tabulated For both Elriad and Jakko Turkish PPR PIPES.
