About Our Doctors

Mediviron UOA Aesthetic Clinic has 4 full-time aesthetic doctors, namely Dr Rachel Chew, Dr Jasmine Ruth Yuvarani, Dr Alan Lu and Dr Chen Tai Ho.

Dr Rachel Chew studied her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at Universiti Sains Malaysia. She did her Cert in Aesthetic Medicine at the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. This doctor has over 10 years experience in providing aesthetic services and consultations. She has worked closely with her father, who possess a Masters Degree in Chemistry and Art (Education), in the study of skin care, topical creams and hormonal therapy in aesthetic and anti-aging medicine. Mediviron UOA Aesthetic Clinic's doctor keeps herself busy by attending aesthetic talks and handson workshops. Dr Rachel's hobbies are music and song writing, where she has won first place in a Malaysian song writing competition in 1992. Dr Rachel attends to clients on Mondays to Saturdays (except Thursdays) from 8.30am to 5.30pm. Our clinic is closed on Sundays and Public Holidays.

Dr Jasmine Ruth Yuvarani did her Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Malacca Manipal Medical College (MMMC) in 2006 with Distinctions in years 2 and 3. She pursued her Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine and Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine at the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. Currently she is undergoing Certification in Advanced Hormone Therapy (Belgium). This doctor has 8 years experience in aesthetic medicine. Dr Jasmine has strong interest and passion in the beauty line since childhood. She is well-versed in laser lipolysis, vaginal rejuvenation laser, anti-aging medicine, bioidentical hormone therapy and hCG weight loss besides being experienced in Botox, fillers, thread lifts, double eyelid surgery and other aesthetic procedures. Our aesthetic doctor attends Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs organized by hospitals and reads online journals to keep herself updated with current trends of medical treatment. Our talented doctor can play various musical instruments, besides partaking in marathon runs. This mother of three bright children believes in living her life to the fullest. During her free time, she works in a charity clinic for the poor in Puchong. Her hobbies are salsa dancing, mirror painting, travelling with family. Dr Jasmine sees clients on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thurdays from 8.30am to 4pm. On Fridays and Saturdays, she attends to clients from 8.30am to 8pm. She is off on Wednesdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.

Dr Alan Lu graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia's medical school in 2001. Besides Kuala Lumpur, he has working experience in Kota Kinabalu and Alor Star. Our doctor has also done attachments at Southampton University in UK and Yale University in US. He is also a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. Dr Alan possesses the Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine (USA). Learning art history, indulging in French food and culture, interior design and adding colour to his living space are Dr Alan's hobbies.

Dr Alan Lu sees clients on Mondays to Fridays from 8.30am to 6.00pm. On Saturdays, Dr Alan see clients from 8.30am to 2.00pm.

Dr Chen Tai Ho possesses a double degree, namely the Bachelor Degree in Medical Science (honours) and Degree in Medicine (MD). Dr Chen has practiced medicine for 11 years. After embarking on the Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine (USA), he pursued and completed the Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine (USA). Dr Chen is a member of the American Academy of Aesthetics Medicine (AAAM) and Society of Anti-Aging, Aesthetics & Regenerative Medicine of Malaysia (SAAARM). During his spare time, Dr Chen spends time at the gym, participates in sport events and indulges in a good book or two. Dr Chen attends to clients Mondays to Saturdays 8.30am to 6.00pm.
