Magic Finger-Device transforms any Surface into a Touch Interface
Magic finger makes it possible to turn virtually any surface into interface. Magic finger is made up of a Velcro ring consists of a couple of optical sensors, one being with low resolution and is a high speed sensor to track motion and the other one is high resolution camera that can detect the surface and transforms data and turns a surface into a interface. It can be programmed according to the users choice being able to make non-digital items to digital items for example we can mute our phones just by touching the bag it is in.
Inventions in the mon month of the March: arch: 1955 - The first radio or fax transmission was sent across the continent. 1959- Charles Townes was granted a patent for the maser, the precursor to the laser.

Generally, matter exists in three forms known as solid, liquid, gas but another form came into existence known as programmable matter known as claytronic atom or catoms. Catoms are minute particles so intricate that they actually can reshape Itself by programming catoms (i.e. coding) according to the users choice. Claytronics is a concept that combines both nano technology and electronic devices more over computer science engineering to form modular robots that can interact with each other to form three dimensional tangible objects so that a user can easily interact. Claytronics shows similarity in nature with nano technology but with greater accuracy, power and complexity. Claytronics is a form of programmable matter that takes the concept of modular robots to a new extreme. Researchers determined be taking the advantage of advances in nano scale assembly, they might create human replicas from ensembles of tiny computing devices (modular robots) that could sense, move, and change colour and shape ,enabling more realistic experience. Claytronics finds application in many fields such as communication, in medical field, entertainment, disaster relief, three dimensional physical modelling etc..,

Laser-Communication
Laser communication is a technique employed in satellite communication for space research activities.
Features:
Low-Noise ratio Inexpensive Low power consumption Resistivity to radio interferences
How It Works:
Laser communication systems can also be called as free space laser communication systems. These are wireless connections through atmosphere through which either data or sound signals can be transmitted. They work in similar to the fibre optics but in laser communication system there is no requirement of any media for propagation. This system comprises of a carrier which is meant for the transmission of the signal generated either by a high power LED or a laser diode, and a receiver for receiving data. These communication systems operate in Infrared region of Electromagnetic spectrum.
Applications:
The main application of this communication system is transmitting data at high speed i.e. 1 gigabit per second. It is employed in satellite communication for space research. It can be used to reproduce sound in large public meetings on open grounds or for communication between tall
buildings.
Advantages:
It allows very fast communication between two or more devices than other modes of communications. It provides speed more than 1GBps more than the speed provided by LAN or any other wireless
communications.
It avoids unnecessary costs for cables and broadcast rights. Transmitting and receiving station are smaller and lighter hence less power is required for transmitting
data from one place to another place.
Signals can be transmitted without any distortion even for long distances. So it can be used for communication
and cable television transmission.
This is new wireless technology to transmit the data or sound signal from one section to other section through the laser beam of the system. This system is safety and without radiation. So it is not harm to living beings. The system can likely transmit data and sound much faster than the other system (like 1GB/s) because of this laser communication system became more popular system than the other system.

Wi-Fi:
Wi-Fi (wireless fidelity) is a wireless technology that uses radio waves
to transmit data. Transmitting data through this technology mainly comprises of three components mainly: wireless adaptor, wireless router and Ethernet cable. Wireless adaptor converts data into radio signal and transmits through an antenna Whereas wireless router receives the signal and decodes the data and it sends the information to the internet through a physical connection called Ethernet cable. Radios employed in this technology are the radios that are used commonly but there is only one difference i.e., data is transmitted at high frequencies 2.4GHz or 5GHz because maximum amount of data can be transmitted at high frequencies. Wi-Fi radios can transmit on any of three frequency bands. Or, they can "frequency hop" rapidly between the different bands. Frequency hopping helps reduce interference and lets multiple devices use the same wireless connection simultaneously. As long as they all have wireless adapters, several devices can use one router to connect to the Internet. This connection is convenient, virtually invisible and fairly reliable; however, if the router fails or if too many people try to use high-bandwidth applications at the same time, users can experience interference or lose their connections. by akhil

Fun +Innovative
This problem is supposed to have been devised by Leonardo of Pisa Two towers, one 30, the other 40 rods high, are 50 rods apart. There is a milestone on the straight line between these towers. From the tops of both towers two crows fly off simultaneously and with the same speed in a straight line in the direction of the milestone and-believe it or not-reach their goal simultaneously. How far is the milestone from both towers?
