Resident would like to know the authoritys decision in relates to the wild board issues at the estate. He also commented that the authority could shorten the decision making process and added that the fences erected are not effective. Residents wrote to LTA regarding the removal of double yellow lines along Old Upper Thomson Road, where the proposal was supported by most of his neighbours. LTA however has not act on the matter. Units which support the proposal are 78, 80, 82, and 84 of Old Upper Thomson Road. Resident commented that the trees at the estate are thinning and the reason may be due to the culling of wild boards. She enquires if it would be possible that authority replant the trees N-Parks Thinning of the forest (viewed perceptually as the undergrowth) is a direct result of the presence of the wild boar in large numbers. She also proposed to have slow down signs to warn vehicles approaching the junction near Casuarina Road to pre-empt vehicles to slow down. LTA LTA has converted the give way line to stop line along at the junction of Seraya Crescent and Upper Thomson Road. LTA would continue to monitor the situation and made adjustment on the barriers if necessary. She also suggested that N-park may consider erecting fence to protect sapling from wild boards. N-Parks NParks position is to manage the wild boar population which is in progress and to reduce the numbers by trapping. It was highlighted that no agency takes responsibility on litter along Old Thomson Road. Currently, workers use blowers to sweep grasses to the grass verge at the forested area. Their action has also swept litters into the grass verge. He requests someone to take responsibilities for the cleanliness at the area.
