Thank you for using SicknDstroy! SicknDstroy is a LoFi effect with a pre-lter and a LFO. This guide will give you an overview of all the functions.

Modulations
All the parameters that have a Mod switch and a Mod knob below them can be modulated by the LFO. To enable the modulation for a parameter, toggle the Mod switch on and set the modulation depth using the corresponding Mod knob.

Filter
The lter acts on the input signal before sending it to the Destroy section. You can choose between 3 lter types : lowpass (LPF), highpass (HPF) and bandpass (BPF). You can then set the cutoff frequency and the resonance using the dedicated knobs.

Destroy
After being ltered, the signal is sent to this section. Here you can alter the bit depth of the signal (using the Bits knob) as well as the samplerate (using the Reduction knob). The special function of this section is the possibility to choose the way both effects are mixed. You can toggle between these modes using the menu at the top of this section. CHAIN : the bitcrusher signal is sent to the samplerate reducer ADD : the bitcrusher and samplerate reducer outputs are mixed together (parallel) RINGMOD : the bitcrusher and samplerate reducer outputs are multiplied by each other SUBTRACT : the samplerate reducer output is subtracted from the bitcrusher output

Dry/Wet
Here you can set the ratio of processed and unprocessed signal.

LFO
The left knob in this section lets you set the waveform used by the LFO : you can choose between sine, square, saw up, saw down, triangle and sample and hold. The Rate knob lets you adjust the frequency of the LFO in hertz.

Presets
SicknDstroy comes with a selection of presets from acclaimed sound designer Ivo Ivanov ( http://www.ivanovsound.com ). You can change the current preset using the built-in menu.

You can rename the current preset by clicking in the text box. Clicking on the "Save" button will open a dialog box that will let you save the current preset on your hard drive using the extension ".sdp". Only presets saved in the default preset folder (where the dialog box opens by default) will appear in the menu. You can load a preset stored somewhere else by dragging it from the Explorer (Windows) / Finder (Os X) onto the preset box of the plugin. You can access the folder where the presets are saved by clicking on the "Show" button : presets can be opened by both the VST and the Audio Unit version on all platforms. Clicking on the "Random" button will set all parameters to random values (except the Mod switches).
