In partnership with State Dietitians; developed menus to comply with Food Code requirements for specific disease states to meet clinical, regulatory and budgetary guidelines. Union orientation & experience gained in contract negotiation, grievance handling and interpretation & delivery of agreed procedures. Monitoring & timely completion, submission of QA reports to Compliance Officer to address issues and meet agreed standards.

1989-1994 Assistant Director Food & Nutrition Services Teamed up with Director of Department charged with overseeing patient services ensuring smooth operations in the delivery of excellent service .Member of the Performance Improvement Committee; to address, patient & community concerns & bring about operational efficiencies to achieve the highest patient satisfaction.. Developed realistic budgets through accurate forecasts, streamline food procurement to meet budgetary goals. Sinai Hospital operated a strict Kosher (Kashrut) kitchen and my work here gave me the knowledge & experience I am proud to use today should the expertise be called for.
