SIGNIFICANT CALLS FOR SERVICE/INCIDENTS:


130429-1806-02 Suspicious Person 12409 Walden Lea Drive Officers were dispatched to the area in reference to a white male who seemed to be pacing back and forth. The caller was concerned about the subject and his unusual behavior. The subject was wearing a white jumpsuit with blue and yellow strips. Officers were unable to locate the subject and received no further calls about the individual. 130429-1810-00 Animal Cruelty Case 8101 Maxwelton Drive Officer responded to a report of a dog being mistreated (no food or water). Officers located the animal hooked to a runner line in the back yard. Apart from being dirty (due to the recent rain), the dog appeared to be in good health and happy. It did not appear to be in distress nor malnourished. The owners of the dog stated, they have had profane notes left on their mailbox, referring to the fact the writer felt the dog should not be hooked to the runner line. Officers determined there was no basis for the abuse allegation. 130429-1812-00 Suspicious Person 12411 Bluff Meadow Trail Officers responded to a report of three white males soliciting in the neighborhood. A resident requested to see the permit, but they refused to produce it. The subjects left the area prior to officers responding. Officers were unable to locate the subjects. 130429-1855-02 Mental Transport 10030 Gilead Road Officers transported a subject from Presbyterian Huntersville to Presbyterian Main. 130429-1941-00 Disturbance 9926 Glencrest Drive Officers responded to a call about a juvenile who was being disruptive in the home and the parents needed assistance with him. 130429-1947-00 Meet Complainant 14214 Tribute Place Drive Officers spoke to the complainant who repeatedly called for assistance. The calls were in reference to her needing to get her personal belongings from her ex-boyfriends home. Officers repeatedly explained to her the home was in another jurisdiction and they could not accompany her to the residence. Officers provided her with the proper department to call and she refused to call them. 130429-1957-00 Runaway 12209 Tuscaloosa Road Officers responded to this location in reference to an 11-year-old female running away from home when her mother tried to correct her. The juvenile was located approximately an hour later.

130429-2059-02 DWLR Gilead Road at I-77 During an investigative traffic stop, officers charged Bryan McCarthy (DOB 6-21-85) for driving while his license is revoked. 130429-2148-00 Suspicious Person 8220 Ballymore Court Officers responded to a call about a male subject (no description) who reportedly was walking down the street yelling and had done so for a few hours. Officers were unable to locate the subject and no further calls were received. 130429-2222-02 Mental Transport 10030 Gilead Road Officers transported a subject from Presbyterian Huntersville to Presbyterian Main. 130429-2336-02 Escort 10030 Gilead Road Officers transported a female subject to the womens shelter. 130429-2356-00 Domestic 9628 Sunset Grove Drive Officers responded to a report of a domestic assault. Upon arrival, both subjects reported the other assaulted him/her. There were no signs of injury, and both were given report numbers. The warrant process was explained. 130430-0500-03 Larceny 11823 Cimmaron Road The complainant advised she gave a few of her friends a ride to the store. While doing so, someone took her purse from the vehicle.
