Since 1985, SOEMA has been an expert in the development and manufacture of electronic taps and fittings and other automatic systems for sanitary fixtures. It has also specialized in the creation of turnkey public bathrooms and changing rooms complete with furnishings and equipped modular walls in HPL or tempered glass. PERIMETER PARTITIONS

Organizing space adequately means separating premises in the most rational way. Such separation is traditionally carried out either in brickwork or in plasterboard. SOEMA has solved this problem by devising and planning pre-fabricated modular partitions.

DOORS
In furnishing changing rooms and bathrooms of sports facilities, factories, plants, hospitals and clinics, shopping centres, schools, etc, sturdiness of materials and refined functional design are essential. Products are also required to be easy to clean, compliant with sanitary standards and available in a wide range of colours in order to suit any type of place. To meet the above needs in the best way, SOEMA has come up with SIPARIO, a new range of doors in stratificato HPL which can be combined with boxes, lockers, benches, etc. The doors of this line are made of 14mm-thick HPL laminate and silver-coloured anodized aluminium. The product resulting from the processing of such materials contributes to embellish any type of place enhancing functionality and design.

SIPARIO
The doors are endowed with a silver-coloured section bar in anodized aluminium adaptable to any wall thickness (with a minimum of 80 mm). The door panel is made of 14mmthick solid stratificato laminate. It is scratch-proof with coloured outer finish and inner black kraft. The hinges in anodized aluminium as well as the hardware are devised and manufactured by SOEMA.

EQUIPPED PARTITIONS

In projects of bathrooms, plumbing and electric installations are usually to be walled by plumbers and electricians. Soema has developed an innovative system for placing them outside the partitions thus making their installation and maintenance remarkably easier. SOEMA always provides its customers with all necessary technical details for pre-arranging water, electricity and drain connection points. The equipped partitions can be carried out in two different ways according to the space available: cavedio (minimum width: 50/60 cm) and inspectionable partition (width: 30 cm).

CAVEDIO
Service corridor obtained between two partitions for performing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance work. The installation of CAVEDIO makes it possible to create two opposite blocks of boxes equipped with various sanitary fixtures having one single water inlet and one single drain column. CAVEDIO contains: drain pipes and ventilation system water connection points electric installation complete with board forced aspiration system inside the toilet bowl boiler, in case it should be necessary

INSPECTIONABLE PARTITIONS
Differently from Cavedio, it is not possible to walk through the INSPECTIONABLE PARTITION in HPL laminate. To carry out MIN. 300 maintenance, however, the installations can be easily reached MIN. 550 by removing the panels placed on the back of the boxes fitted with special hooks.

PARTITIONS
SOEMA partitions have been carefully planned and carried out in order to obtain a product with unique features and enhanced quality standards. Numerous innovative options have been devised to create and divide specific areas intended for bathrooms and changing rooms where hygiene is matched by a high aesthetic value. (The partitions are also available in the tempered glass version of the line Colour Glass. Please see catalogue Hygiene and Design). Why a partition? One of the greatest strengths of SOEMA partitions lies on the fact that they are not only easy to assemble, aesthetically pleasant and functional but that they also allow easy access to the installations. On the contrary, brick or concrete structures are particularly difficult to be removed when a damage needs to be detected, they occupy more space and have to be integrated with some other types of furnishings. The main advantages of SOEMA partitions, therefore, are the following: Partitions in stratificato HPL laminate, which is smooth, not porous, scratch-proof, easy to clean, perfectly hygienic, resistant to high temperatures and vandalism (blows, felt pen marks, burns or spots of cigarettes). Best use of space due to the remarkably reduced thickness of the partitions (just 14mm) whose sturdiness is similar to that of ordinary brick walls. Reduced installation time. Once the premises are ready, the partitions are assembled in a very short time without producing unwanted materials. Structure resting on aluminium feet to maintain a clean floor surface.

SCENA
The line SCENA is a high-level production resulting from special attention paid to details and essential shapes. Its smooth surfaces without protruding parts are easy to clean and extremely practical. The partitions of this product line are made of 14mm-thick stratificato HPL laminate with smoothed edges and rounded angles. The doors are endowed with antirubbing bushes in plastic material and self-closing hinges in anodized aluminium. The elliptic stainless steel lock is inserted in the door thickness without outriggers and is fitted with a free/engaged indication device as well as an emergency opening system. Along the upper side of each partition, a section bar in anodized aluminium called chain holds the whole structure together. The partitions are connected to the existing walls through flanges in aluminium fitted with a special system for squaring them. The partition modules rest upon legs in anodized aluminium lifting them 150 mm from the floor. A stud in silver plastic covers the lower part of each foot which is fixed to the floor through an adjusting screw and a stainless steel flange inserted within.

SOEMA partitions are particularly functional and hygienic if used together with electronic bathroom fixtures such as showers, WC flushing systems or urinals. (Partitions for shower boxes are available in three different types: with door, without door and with double-swing double door).

GALLERIA
The boxes for toilets of this line are equipped with self-closing door and stainless steel lock fitted with free/engaged indication device and emergency opening. The boxes in stratificato are particularly functional and hygienic if equipped with electronic controls and steel flooring systems (see catalogue Electronic systems for hygiene).

The partitions GALLERIA are made of 14mm-thick stratificato HPL laminate with smoothed edges and rounded angles. They are assembled through section bars in anodized aluminium (alloy T 60/60) where ledges including both anti-theft gaskets and hinges are placed. The self-closing aluminium hinges are adjustable and fitted with antirubbing bushes in plastic material and shock absorbers. The plastic lock is equipped with a free/engaged indication device and an emergency opening system. Each partition module is fixed to the floor (at a distance of 200 mm from it) by a leg adjustable in height covered by a cylindrical plastic stud. Along the upper side of each partition, an aluminium section bar called chain and fixed to the jambs holds the whole structure together.

The boxes of the series COMPOSIT are mostly suitable for customers requiring a reasonably priced highquality product which might also be particularly easy to install (a practical assembly kit is provided to this purpose). The series COMPOSIT makes it very easy for customers to place orders by simply following the instructions shown in the catalogue. The panels are made of 14mm-thick HPL laminate with smoothed edges and rounded angles. Available in the colors shown in the catalogue. The hardware is in anodized aluminum (alloy T 60/60). The doors are endowed with selfclosing hinges, anti-rubbing bushes, ledge profiles fitted with rubber gaskets, oil shock absorbers, lock in AISI 304 stainless steel with simplified lock and free/engaged indication device. With this item, SOEMA has paid special attention to the creation of partitions which might be compliant with childrens requirements. To this purpose, new partitions with shapes and sizes suitable for young users have been devised and carried out. The technical features of the materials used in this line are the same as those of the line SCENA. The partitions in stratificato, available in different colours, can be decorated with fanciful drawings and graffiti. BATHROOM TOPS IN ACRIAL

Acrial is a an advanced composite material consisting of natural minerals and acrylic polymers. It is homogeneous, not porous throughout its thickness and coloured in its whole mass. Due to the fact that it is flexible, available in a wide range of colours and pleasing to the touch, it is possible to reach some practical aesthetic results which cannot be normally obtained with more common materials such as wood, marble, polyester, etc. Moreover, thanks to its resistance to spots, scratches and mildews, it is particularly easy to clean and maintain. Acrial is an inert, non-toxic, hypoallergenic material. It has fire-retardant properties: it is included in class F1 (DIN 53 438) and it does not emit toxic fumes in case of fire. All surfaces in acrial can be brought back to their original conditions by simply using a detergent and an abrasive sponge. This means that it is possible to remove even cigarettes burns. Such properties make acrial particularly recommended for public places as well as for operating rooms and intensive care units.

LIDO
Bathroom top with tap holes, backsplash, rounded back strip, frontal bar and side borders. The basins incorporated in the top are white. The standard distance between their centres is of 70 cm, but it is possible to change their distance and length up to 300 cm. It can be either suspended on steel brackets or assembled with inspectionable cabinet in HPL. In case it should be installed on plaster board, it is essential that it is adequately reinforced where the brackets are hooked.

PLATEA
The bathroom tops of this line are made of Postforming stratificato HPL laminate, have a max. length of 4.200 mm and are derived from one single plate without sharp edges endowed with finely-shaped frontal bar and backsplash. They can be either suspended on support and fixing brackets in 2mmthick shot-peened stainless steel or combined with an elegant inspectionable cabinet having a steel frame covered with stratificato. The line includes models of different type, depth and length: countertop, under-countertop, semi-countertop; in stainless steel or in vitreous china; round or oval. In case the tap hole has not been pre-arranged on the basin, it can be made on the top.

The line of Lockers and Benches can be used wherever space needs to be organized in a practical dynamic way. Exactly like the other SOEMA products, this line has been created in compliance with accident prevention rules as well as with standards of beauty, usefulness and comfort. The state-of-the-art materials used for the manufacturing of Lockers and Benches, whose smooth scratch-proof surfaces are extremely easy to clean, are a guarantee of perfect hygiene. The line of SOEMA Lockers and Benches offers a wide range of possibilities of furnishings in order to comply with customers tastes and requirements. Lockers SINFONIA, INFINITO Particularly useful for changing rooms of sports centres and factories, SOEMA Lockers are available in a wide range of models and colours to suit customers needs. Different options of this product line have been devised in order to optimize space: with flat or sloping hood, with clean/dirty compartments, with forced air suction system (vented lockers) and with different types of inside compartments. The lockers are made of scratch-proof stratificato HPL laminate panels with coloured outside decorative finishing and black inside kraft. They are endowed with smoothed edges and rounded angles. The doors of the Lockers are equipped with slits to ensure adequate airflow and/or outflow of liquids used for washing. The lockers of the standard version rest either on 100mm-long legs or on 200mm-long legs. It is possible, however, to request them either with a support bench replacing the legs or with no support at all in order to place them on an existing pre-arranged base. The doors of the Lockers can be equipped with slits to allow maximum airflow and forced air suction on the bottom of the locker. Benches Cavea-A, Cavea-D, Cavea-H Just like the Lockers, the Benches are ideal for changing rooms of sports centres and factories where functional sturdy equipment with a high aesthetic value is required. The materials used by SOEMA are remarkably resistant and do not require maintenance of any type. This makes the production extremely durable. The Benches can be coordinated with lockers and partitions of matching colour and design according to the customers tastes and requirements.

INFINITO
The series of lockers INFINITO has been devised to furnish and embellish changing rooms by paying special attention to design and elegant style. The possibility of assembling the columns one after the other makes it easier and faster to mount the lockers inside the changing room. The materials adopted - stainless steel for the support framework , anodized aluminum for the section bars and the hardware and panels in HPL for the framework and the doors - make this locker a very high-quality product. The locker frame consists of solid section bars in anodized aluminium alloy T60/60 with which the back and side panels are assembled. The fixed tiers between one door and the other are inserted in the section bars of the frame. The height of the legs in aluminium is of 100 or 200 mm; in the version in AISI 304 stainless steel their height is of 200 mm with basement and bracket. The structure is fitted with door slits to allow the penetration of air and/or the coming out of liquids used for washing. The doors are made of 8-mm thick stratificato HPL and can be opened up to 180. The number of each door is laser printed on stainless steel plates. The ledge profiles are equipped with rubber gaskets throughout the length of each door acting as shock absorbers. The lockers can be arranged either in sets of 1/2/3 columns or in one single solution without any interruption (modular system to be installed directly on the spot). The air penetrates the door slits and circulates inside the locker since it is sucked by the underlying channel. A column making part of the suction system channels bad air outside. SINFONIA
The lockers of this line are provided with partitions, 8 mm-thick doors and 10mm-thick cover and bottom shelves. The different components are assembled through black joints in glass fibre reinforced nylon 6 so as to make the locker more stable and compact. The hinges, which have been specifically devised for this type of items, make the door rotate 180 thus making access to the locker extremely easy. The legs are in anodized aluminium. The standard type of lock is fitted with a key and can be opened with a master key. Each Locker is fitted with an outer number plate and an inner accident prevention lock guard.

VENTED LOCKERS This optional version features a special air circulation system aimed at eliminating bad smells produced from the clothes placed inside the locker. The air penetrates the door slits and circulates inside the locker since it is sucked by the underlying channel. A column making part of the suction system channels bad air outside. The air channelling system can be checked thanks to the removable panel placed under the shoe rack. This product line is particularly suitable for changing rooms of factories, food-processing plants, hospitals, clinics and nursing homes.

CAVEA-A
Cavea-A is a new type of benches created with innovative materials and state-of-the-art design. The seat, the back and - if required the hat rack are derived from one single plate of hot-shaped stratificato HPL. The shape of the plate is anatomic without sharp edges so as to make disinfection easier. The suspended bench is supported by sturdy brackets in micro shot-peened stainless steel hooked on the wall. This makes it possible to clean the floor easily. The clothes hooks in opaque micro shot-peened 304 stainless steel have been planned and created by SOEMA. Benches Cavea-A can be combined with bathroom tops in HPL of the same design, finishing and colour in order to obtain a harmonious combination of furnishings.

CAVEA-D
Benches Cavea-D consist of slats in stratificato HPL laminate inserted in hollowed aluminium staves. The whole structure is held together by specially devised joints in nylon reinforced by fibreglass with a steel insert in the inside. The legs are adjustable in height in order to adapt the benches to any imperfection of the floor. The clothes hooks are in satinized steel.

CAVEA-H
Benches Cavea-H are made of stratificato HPL laminate. The legs are adjustable in height in order to adapt the benches to any imperfection of the floor. The clothes hooks are in PVC. The benches consist of staves in stratificato with smoothed edges in order to guarantee safety for the users.

DOUBLE-DOOR BOXES
SOEMA double-door boxes - whose installation does not require any brickwork - are the perfect solution for separating the area covered barefoot and the area trodden with ones shoes of swimming centres. The technical features of the materials used for the production of double-door cabins are the same as those of the line of partitions GALLERIA. Double-door boxes are quite similar to traditional ones but they are not leaning against the wall and are equipped with doors on both entrance and exit sides. The boxes, which are assembled in continuous modules and suspended at a distance of 430mm from the floor - separate different areas making the most of the space inside the cabins. The two doors can be blocked or unblocked at the same time by a special device inserted in the recess obtained between the bench and the door.

SINGLE-DOOR BOXES
Unlike double-door boxes, singledoor boxes are equipped with one single door having a stainless steel lock fitted with a free/engaged indication device and an emergency opening system. Like double-door cabins, the cabins of this type offer a comfortable place for getting changed while the technical features relating to their materials are the same as those of the line of partitions GALLERIA. The boxes are assembled in continuous modules separated by partitions, supported by section bars in anodized aluminium and suspended at a distance of 200mm from the floor. The inside bench - which is supplied exclusively on customers request can be chosen among the different types of benches of models Cavea-H and Cavea-D.
