GUARANTEES AND ACCEPTANCE TESTS Guarantee Requirements The specified inside design conditions shall be guaranteed by the BIDDER. Satisfactory operation of the equipment offered shall be guaranteed for 12 months from the date of commissioning. Bidder shall undertake to repair or replace any part which is defective due to faulty materials, design or workmanship.. All equipment supplied shall have capacities / performance not less than those specified in section C1 & C2. If BIDDER feels that higher capacity equipment is required to meet the specified conditions, the same has to be substantiated by the BIDDER with supporting calculations. Acceptance Tests After completion of the installation, VENDOR shall balance the system and make necessary adjustments for all equipment until all guaranteed performance requirements are satisfied. After completing the adjustments, VENDOR shall conduct acceptance tests of the installation in the presence of BPPL during which the installation shall meet the guaranteed performance requirements to the satisfaction of BPPL and all inside design conditions specified shall be maintained, within the specified tolerances. If the performance is not achieved by the VENDOR, VENDOR shall be given the option of making adjustments after which the tests shall be repeated at the VENDORs expense. The repeat test shall be carried out within the stipulated time. All instruments and services required for the above tests shall be provided by VENDOR. The test reports shall be submitted for BPPLs approval before handing over the plant. VENDOR shall ensure that all instruments installed in the air-conditioning and ventilation systems as well as all instruments required for conducting acceptance tests shall be only calibrated instruments.
