Angelica (Angie) Amigon became a sister of Lambda Theta Alpha in the Fall of 2011. Since her
ini?a?on,Angiehasbeenawonderfulassettoherchapter;sheisimmenselycaring,sweet,andwise.Sheis always looking for ways to make Lambda Theta Alphas opera?ons more ecient. In her role as Chapter Academic Chair she goes above and beyond to ensure that all sisters are doing well in their academics by providing workshops and resources to promote academic excellence. Angie played a vital role in last semesters Project Arte submission which lead to Lambda Theta Alphas rst ?me scoring in the Gold range.Angieistheepitomeofauniversalwomanforhercaringwaysandamazingspirit.Angiewilltrulybe missedhereatUConnaeershegraduatesthisMay.

Hannah CoWon isnotonlyanexemplarymemberofAlphaEpsilonPhi,butsheisanamazingmemberofthe

Greek community. She has shown her dedica?on and leadership since she pledged as a freshman in fall 2009. Kelsey Cunningham of Kappa Alpha Theta is an outstanding senior sorority member. She is Theta's
Senior Engagement Chair, and helps organize events for the senior sisters. Michael PollackTwomey, or"PT"hasbeenaxtureoftheUConnGreekCommunitysincehisini?a?onin
the Spring of 2010. Following his ini?a?on, PT quickly became involved in Zeta Beta Tau and the greater communityatUConn.HebecamepresidentoftheDeltaBetaChapterforthe2011year,andleadthechapter through tragedy and joy. Michael also served as one of ve Undergraduate Supreme Councilors for ZBT Na?onal, serving as the voice of thousands of undergraduates across the na?on. Following his presidency of ZBT, PT became President of the Interfraternity Council at UConn, leading all undergraduate fraterni?es to greaterinvolvement inthecommunity.Michaelhasbeenrecognized asa Greek LeaderofDis?nc?onbythe NortheastGreekLeadershipAssocia?on,furthercemen?nghislegacywithintheGreekCommunityatUConn. since her freshmen year UConn, and will be missed when she graduates. In 2011, Ka?e was the VP of Membership for Theta. TheBrothersoftheOmegaChapterofthePiDeltaPsiFraternityInc.recentlytookUConnbystorm,celebra?ngits5 year anniversary on campus. To kick o Founders Week, the Brothers celebrated the Asian American Cultural Centers 20th Anniversary by displaying the chapters Before I Die exhibit. The exhibit, inspired by Taiwanese Americanar?st,CandyChang,wasmeanttobringthedierentculturalcentersandthestudentsofUConntogether byaskingthemtorespondtothestatement:BeforeIDie,Iwantto.FeaturedaspartofAsACCs20thanniversary, the 4th oor of the Student Union was home to the ve dierent panels that were lled with responses to the ques?on.AlloftheresponsesweremeanttoshowcasethedierentgroupsthatcallUConntheirhome. TheBrothersalsohadfuntakingonefortheteam.Toraisemoneyfortheirphilanthropy,thebrotherswerepiedin thefacebyUConnstudents!TheBrotherswanttotakeamomentandthankeveryonethatcameoutandsupported. OnSaturday,April20ththeSistersofLambdaThetaAlphahostedtheir6thAnnualGreekShowcaseineorts toraisefundsforHoleintheWallGangCamp,whichprovidesseriouslyillchildrenwithachancetoenjoy camp like every other child at absolutely no cost. In the past, the Greek Showcase was an event where Greeks from all over CT would showcase their latest strolls, steps, and salutes. In addi?on, this event generallydrawsinmanyGreeksandUConnCommunitymembers.Thisyearfortherst?meweturnedthis intoaphilanthropicevent;LambdaThetaAlphachargedpar?cipantstoperformandchargedanentryfee forspectators,anditwasanabsolutesuccess.This year they had 11 organiza?ons perform and nearly 200 people in a"endance, including about 20 of Lambda Theta Alphas UConn chapter alumnae.
