Comments Dr Phelps sent his apologies but he is unable to make this meeting due to other commitment. The minutes of the previous meeting were agreed and the following matters discussed. Item 4 AK reported that he had changed the colours of the buttons so that the different types of buttons could be identified. The blue ones will be to add an item to a transaction. The maroon ones will switch between Product Groups during a transaction. The green ones will switch between phases. This will be demonstrated during item 3. SA has provided a picture of an Ice Cream Cone to replace the van on the splash screen. AK has agreed to implement it by the next meeting. AK explained that to get the labels and worksheet headings to update automatically he had had to program the Transactions button on the splash screen to copy them across from the product page before it transferred control to the Product Group page. Now once the products have been changed the buttons and labels will instantly reflect this. This will also be demonstrated during item 3.

AK demonstrated the product data entry system and showed the changes made to the buttons. He also demonstrated that whatever was entered into the product worksheet appeared in the appropriate place on the captions to buttons and product group worksheet headers. PIA said that the colours of the buttons were fine and that he liked very much the way the data was passed across to the buttons. He thought the form would be a

little difficult to use. AK said this would be difficult to change and may be time consuming. PIA said that he thought he could get used to it. AK said he would like a list of the current products and prices, preferably split into the Product Groups required by Athas Ice Cream. PIA said he would PIA work on it next week and post it to AK on Friday 17th March 4 Item due to be completed. Task 2 Store Data The store data has been designed and developed. Testing has taken place. This part of the system has been shown to Athas Ice Cream and has been accepted. No suggestions for improvement have been made. Items which should have started. Task 7 Enter Float New Day The design of this should have started on Friday the 10th March. Programming the Transaction button to get the other button captions from the product file in the store data has meant a delay in the start of this activity as well as using up all the leeway time in the previous activity. The delay in starting is only one day which will take all the leeway time for this activity. The AK plan will be adjusted to show this. This has not caused a delay in the completion of the project. Task 37 Documentation The systems manual has been started and reflects the Product Entry process. A start has also been made on the user Guide. This task is currently ahead of schedule. 5 The next phase of the project will be the programming of the transaction and the totalling of the cost. This is due to be complete by 4th April The next meeting will take place on Friday 7th April at 18:00. The meeting will be held at Athas Ice Cream AK
