Each module is then placed on a media settling table to ensure a packed bed and packaged in a protective plastic bag. The MediaPAKTM offers effortless maintenance; including no need to empty spent media, refill with new media or vacuum to remove dust. MODULE LIFE The life of the media contained within a PK-12 module depends upon several factors: airflow rates, gases present, gas levels and system size. The following are general guidelines for module replacement: Light Industrial: Heavy Industrial: Up to 16 months Up to 10 months

S Y S T E M A D VA N TA G E S RIGID AND DURABLE CONS T R U C T I O N : The MediaPAKTM module is constructed of polystyrene plastic, making it suitable for varying climates and environmental conditions. The module's rigid frame eliminates the possibility of bowing, which could cause air bypass within the system. This guarantees maximum system efficiency throughout the life of the media. E A S Y T O H A N D L E A N D L I F T: Each PK-12 module is designed as two units, making the overall module easier to lift. E N V I R O N M E N TA L LY F R I E N D LY : The MediaPAKTM module is constructed of 100% recyclable plastic. The module contains your choice of Purafil dry-chemical media, which is non-toxic and non-hazardous as supplied. D I S P O S A L I N S T R U C T I O N S : To recycle the MediaPAKTM module, spent media should first be discarded. You may then take the empty module to a local recycling facility. To dispose of the entire module, including media, Purafil advises you to follow local, state and federal regulations. I N N O VAT I V E P O S I - T R A C K TM T E C H N O L O G Y: The PK-12 MediaPAKTM module is an integral part of Purafils horizontal airflow systems, which features Purafils Posi-TrackTM self-sealing technology (patent-pending). The Posi-TrackTM technology incorporates slanted tracking to support the MediaPAKTM modules via a corresponding angled notch in the modules frame. The weight of the module forces it against the channel and creates a positive seal with the tracking, preventing air bypass and increasing system efficiency.
