Projects Purpose & Organisations Mission: The clubs mission is to provide accessible sport, leisure and recreation opportunities to the local Northern community through the development of our facilities, services and programs and once again be the local club of choice. This project would assist the mission by helping to: To provide good quality, safe and functional facilities and spaces to cater for the needs of the local Northern community. To ensure that North Shore Recreation Club is competitive in the sporting arena, across all sporting codes which requires on-going financial strength to attract quality players To ensure that North Shore Recreation Club purpose is recognised by the local community and that key messages are delivered through formal dedicated communication channels Required Qualifications/Experience: Experience and/or qualifications or currently studying in Marketing, Public Relations and/or Communications. Enthusiasm and initiative Excel knowledge medium standard Preferably an interest in sport Estimated Time Commitment: Ideally 2 - 3 hours per week per person, however this is negotiable and it may be done in longer periods of time. e.g. 5 hours on one day. Position description: This role is suitable for an individual or small group (2-4) volunteers Develop a strategic Sponsorship Plan for the Club: develop new strategies for attracting sponsors research potential sponsors determine sponsors expectations and desires develop a communications plan whereby sponsors are kept up to date These are essential tasks which need undertaking for the survival of the Club and thus the value of this group to the Club will be of great importance. There will be support available on a constant basis by a member of the club, if required, and it is hoped that the person / group will feel part of the whole Club. Outcomes of Project: Development of a strategic sponsorship plan for the club. Update the database to reflect changes in the sponsorship. Benefits: Framed Certificate (and/ or letter), very willing to act as referee inclusion in Club social events Location: North Shore Football Club, Windsor Park, North Shore and surrounds Tasks requiring computers can be undertaken from home or Deakin uni.
