Be familiar with the primary approved uses (officially called drug indications) of the Proton Pump Inhibitors (Table 25-4 on pg 504). A helpful exercise may be to search online at rxlist.com or Drugs.com, pick out a specific PPI agent such as Prilosec, Nexium or Prevacid, and look for the section of drug info labeled Indications.
