For both Macintosh and Windows users, simply launch the Update 1 application. On the Macintosh, if you
have multiple instances of Acrobat 4.05 on your system, you will be asked which one you wish to apply this
update to. If you would like to apply it to other instances, simply run the Update again. On Windows, the
update will be applied to the currently registered Acrobat instance.

On Windows NT and Windows 2000 you must have administrator privileges to install the Update.
