IAM systems are viewed as an enabler for different IT management requirements. These are the top factors rated very important by region:
Access policy management/ enforcement: Professionals across most of Europe believe the enforcement and management of access policy is the top IT management challenge eased by IAM. Those in France and Iberia, however, place more emphasis on federated access, whilst Italians emphasise SaaS and other cloud resource concerns.
