ONE
important aspect of the deputation ministry is a reliable vehicle. We are thankful to God for providing us with such a good ride. Personally, this is the nicest vehicle I have ever owned. Isnt that just how the Lord works! He does things above and beyond what we could ever ask or think!

Deputation ministry is not just about

raising money for the work of the ministry it is also: 1. A matter of remembering God Deut. 2:8 says: And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no. Deputation if done correctly, will bring candidates to their extremity and will cause them to remember that God is their Provider! He is Jehovahjireh! (Gen. 22:14; Isa. 46:9-10) 2. A matter of discovering partners Missionaries are not here to persuade or to sell their particular field to anyone. The fact is, God already knows who the ministry partners are going to be. Therefore, deputation is about discovering ministry partners. (1 Cor. 16:17-18) 3. A matter of conviction What will keep the missionary candidate from giving up hope of ever getting to the field? It is the conviction that burns deep inside the heart. Gods call to ministry and the brooks along the way are validations of the ministry. (1 Kings 17:4) WT on deputation too!

needs were further met by the Lord through His people. First is a nebulizer for baby Joes congestion. The second is a brand new set of luggage for our travels. We are so thankful for the generosity of friends who surround us with prayer and support for the mission that God has called us to.

THREE churches have pledged to take us

on! What a blessing it is to hear back from them. If these pledges go well (which I have no doubt they will), we will soon be around 33% support! Praise the Lord!

Baby Joseph and Great Grandma Zehr finally met each other (one huge blessing of being on deputation). Princeton (a 12 yr. old boy) rode the bus (at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Brogue, PA) and got saved on Friend Day Sunday. Pastor Chris preached!
