The Vision

and vitaminwater first hit the shelves in the year 2000 in New York. People became so excited about vitaminwater because it was not only fashionable, but also great tasting and rich with vitamins and nutrients. Vitaminwater can help anyone to feel satisfied throughout his or her hectic days because of its healthy contents. Glacau vitaminwater is a fast-growing industry, with colorful bottles in stores and vending machines worldwide. Glacau vitaminwater was first introduced in 2000 and is now available in many varieties, each with a distinct name and flavor and touting a unique blend of vitamins and minerals depending on what the drink is supposed to do. Big Idea: Vitaminwater is quite an amazing product, and has really made a boom in the industry over the past couple of years. With its diverse colors, and catchy names, individuals have become more and more interested in the product and what it has to offer them. In order the revamp this product, a whole new bottle will be created that is made out of glass. This vision comes from the idea that the plastic bottles

have become more and more harmful, and also the fact that customers will now be able to keep and reuse the bottle for as long as they want. Safe and efficient! Vitaminwater is very healthy, so the bottles need more of an organic and fresh feel without all of the cluttered information. Perhaps putting a little tag around the neck of the bottle with its name and information will be the route to go. It would appear that by making the bottle glass, giving the design a fresh and organic feel, and reducing some of the information on the label would increase sales greatly. A lot of younger people drink vitaminwater, and they would be drawn to a bright and catchy design that incorporates many colors. Furthermore, sales would increase because the customer would be buying a product that they can continually reuse without worrying about the harms of the plastic. Finally, the label, bottle, and information tag would be given a more modern feel, thus attracting the target audience perfectly.

Typography and Colors

The typography and colors were chosen specifically to keep the fun and upbeat atmosphere that we have established at Vitaminwater. This rebranding called for just a couple of the many colors provided. Multi-V Blue and Revival Pink became the face of this very exciting product redesign. The typography was another decision that was vital to this rebranding. In order to accomplish an organic and modern feel, the perfect fonts needed to be picked. Mathlete, the main font for this project, can be used at large font sizes and for all major headings. Vitaminwater likes to use this font for the name of the company because it gives it the organic feel we were hoping for. Mission Gothic was incorporated as a sub-font that would be clean and easy to read. On the bottle, it will serve as a medium-sized font that marks the name of the Vitaminwater, and other pertinent information. Finally, Franklin Gothic Book was included to display information that is small, but needs to be very easy to read. Likewise, it is the font we chose for the main body copy of this style guide. Drink it up!

The Logo

The logo for this brand is quite simple. It is simply typographic, and says everything that needs to be said about the brand: vitamin and water, of course, its genius! Being only a black and white logo, I posted the original version on the top of the next page. I felt that for this redesign, there would need to be a revamp of the logo, and luckily this was not difficult because the logo is all typographic. I chose the font Mathlete, as described in the above page. It has the light-hearted/organic feel that the company is seeking. Looking at the target market, this font will be absolutely perfect for the age group it is intended for. As far as sizing goes, nothing should be closer than a letter space away. Any of the letters will suffice to determine how far to put something away from the logo.
