Psyche of an Artist

While I was reading the editorial and the featured article, there were no ideas coming out of my mind. It is only art and only about art. But with further reviewing and deep contemplation, I dug deeper and found the significance that an artist wants to portray in every art they produced, in every art they exposed. Everything that we might see around that is made by people is a work of art. Without the resources that we might see around us, nothing will be produced and nothing will be identified as a work of art. Everyone has the capability and the rights to use the natural resources that God has given to us but still we have the responsibility to use it accordingly because we are entitled as stewards of Gods creations. Besides, we have principles to follow as a Christian. In the principle of creativity and stewardship, we are entitled to appreciate Gods graces. We are allowed to use if and only if we are not deteriorating or depleting the resources as fast as our population grows. The articles have given us the overview of importance that artists give to the resources God has given us. Artists have free will and freedom to paint what they want to paint. They have the ability to convey things on painting that they cant do in actual place. But sometimes, an artist expresses and hid es his/her feelings that no one can ever reveal. But still, an artists objective is to share what he/she has produced because it always ones aim to share what talents he got, for what treasures he found. Every person should share what is excess from him. It is complying with the principle of the common good. An artist may sometimes viewed soloist because sometimes interpreter finds it to the work of an artist something hidden and something that only an artist can portray which is a sign of selfishness. But an artist is always obliged to share what she/he has. Like Ms. Jane Ebarle. At first, she is confused to what vocation she should take whether to focus on her marketing career or to fight for her longevity to paint. Painting dominates her heart and through this paint she was able to manipulate the ideas

in her mind. She has been a very good painter. Aside from being good, she was able to share it to public by means of having a public exhibition to different places. Through the means of paint, she was able to share her objective and stance in life and it is for the advancement Cause of Women. She was able to partake with her feminist group, Kasibulan, by means of using painting to express feminism. Accidentally, she has been fulfilling her social task as a person in contributing to the community as she accidentally paints abstractionism of an image of Philippine textile which in the first place has no meaning or objective. But after further study, she was able to see the things beyond the painting and she was able to show it abroad that really contribute to the Philippines. She doesnt just bring herself abroad but also the culture of the Philippines. Having an authentic mastery in art, contributing to the society never dismiss in her mind. She was able to become the president of Philippines Art Education Association that enable her to pursue her aim and it is to diminish the marginalized art education of women of urban poor. She is pursued to elevate the stand of women artist in the community by sharing what she has obtained and attained. It is foreseen that she has concerns with her community. She has the concern to protect the welfare of women when it comes to art. Through art, she is going to able to help women deprived of this work of art. The willingness of Ms. Ebarle that fire from her heart shows assistance and care and means sharing what she got from the person above. It is in the psyche of a real artist to portray common good among people who are deprived from the things that shouldnt be deprived from them.
