OBJECTIVE
My objective is to be a member in a ambitious company that works in field of telecommunication, through which I can enhance my practical experience and abilities.

EXPERIENCE

I was working as DT (Drive Test) engineer for 8 months (11/201007/2011) for New Zone Company which is a subcontractor working in the field of telecommunications in Sudan. That job involved performing tests for new or swapped sites for telecommunications operators in Sudan (Sudani, Zain, MTN), to show and analyze their problems and involved performing other routine tests like cluster tests to show networks coverage and quality in specific area and complaint test to investigate and analyze complaints risen by subscribers.

SW applications used for DT were Probe (Huawei product) or TEMS (Ericsson product) software applications. I had been also familiar with preparing signal characteristics (Rx level/quality) reports using Genex Assistant, and had good experience about DT reports using Genex Assistant (Huawei product).

I have worked since 07/2011 until 04/2013 with Huawei radio network optimization team as Zain NPI (Network Performance Improvement) project team member in Sudan. My career had included following tasks:

1) Preparing daily/weekly KPI (Key performance Indicator) reports and a specific database using CME containing various configuration info about the network sites (neighbor list, BCCH frequencies, FP configuration of each site, Abis Time Slots assignment mode, Sites transmission type, etc) and other network nodes configurations. 2) Following up with drive test engineers the new/Huawei swapped sites and also to diagnose/apply solutions for problems found during DT and to report, analyze and optimize performance for new/expanded sites.

3) Daily tracking of 2G/3G network performance and KPIs degradation or improvement analysis and to provide optimization adjustment recommendations to improve performance of the network, including actions requiring WO request for HW check.

4) Handling subscribers complaints.

5) Frequency/neighbor relations planning and checkup.

6) Preparing scripts that are related to RNO procedures (e.g. neighbor relations/ HR thresholds setting for specific social occasions, etc...).

7) Knowledge and experience transfer to our customer staff.

My tasks have been done using Huawei OSS iManager M2000, PRS, CME, LMT MML, MapInfo software applications and GENEX NASTAR.

Skills and Abilities

Basic programming abilities using HTML and PHP (along with MySQL). Basic programming abilities using C programming language. Very good skills in computer applications (Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and other Microsoft tools, Internet) Very good knowledge about GSM and its associated protocols and GPRS. Good knowledge about other mobile communication systems (UMTS). Very good knowledge about GSM network optimization. Good knowledge about UMTS RAN & UMTS RAN optimization. Basic knowledge about LTE. Basic knowledge about SS7 signaling system. Well-known and strong hands-on experience at Drive test SW applications of Probe, Genex Assistant and TEMS. Good and strong hands-on experience at Nastar Huawei SW application and Map info. Well known and strong hands-on experience about Huawei OSS (M2000), CME, PRS and MML LMT Good knowledge about alarms and their interpretation and effects.

Good theoretical and knowledge with SDH&DWDM. Good knowledge about networking (including configuring and troubleshooting of Cisco switches, routers, STP, VTP, VPN and WAN protocols configuration (CCNA level) along with good knowledge about MPLS. Good knowledge about routing protocols and how to be configured on routers (Cisco routers/ CCNA level). Able to work in far regions & rural areas. Able to work under stress and for long periods.
