Leader: Hear is the good news which we have received, in which we stand,
and by which we are saved:
All: Christ died for our sins, was buried, was raised on the third day, and appeared
first to the women, then to Peter and the twelve, and then to many faithful
witnesses. We believe Jesus is the Christ, the Anointed One of God, the
firstborn of all creation, the firstborn from the dead, in whom all things hold
together, in whom the fullness of God was pleased to dwell by the power of the
Spirit.
Christ is the head of the body, the church, and by the blood of the cross
reconciles all things to God. Amen.

priorities as a congregation is
keeping them safe. We do this
through policies in hiring and
supervising volunteers that
maintains accountability, but
primarily through the
understanding that ALL are
responsible for raising our
kids.
With that in mind, we want to
suggest that no child leave the
sanctuary during worship for
any reason without adult
supervision. We know that this
is an inconvenience and may
disrupt your worship
experience, but maintaining
the safety of our children is
absolutely crucial.

activities that you believe put
our children at risk, please

our goal is to ensure the safety
of every child here so that they
will fully experience the love of
God in Jesus Christ.
Welcome to this place…
On behalf of all the people of the Antioch United Methodist
Church, I want to welcome you to this service of worship. We
have gathered together as a community of faith for some
120 years to worship our creator, and to learn about God,
love one another and our neighbor, and live in the way of
Jesus. We believe that God is present with us today and that
your presence helps us to know God in a different way.
If you have any questions about our worship or faith in Jesus
Christ, I encourage you to grab me after the service. We
want to make sure that all are able to connect to God
through being here today.
Children are an important part of worship, and we encourage
you to let them participate as they are able. However,
nursery care is available for children age two and under, and
older children who may not be able to sit through the service
are urged to participate in the Kid’s Corner experience during
the sermon.
If you have any need during this service, please feel free to
ask our ushers for assistance. They can direct you to the
restrooms or other parts of the building.
We pray God’s blessings on you as we come to worship God
