PROJECT REPORT ON TRAINING NEED ANALYSIS RELATED TO JOB DESCRIPTION AT LENOVO

V. VISHNU VARADAN MBA (IB) PONDICHERRY UNIVERSITY

OBJECTIVES:
The project deals with study of Job description & Training Needs of every employee on an individual basis to do a competency mapping for the betterment of the company. It also involves giving suggestions about the training requirements of every employee, so that they work in an error- free scenario in more effective and efficient manner.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: To analyze and study the initial training needs required by the employees related to their job description in every departments at Lenovo.

SECONDARY OBJECTIVES: To study and analyze the clarity prevailing amongst the workers regarding their job description and about the job that they have to perform. To identify the competencies required by the workers to perform their job efficiently. To study and identify an effective training method to reduce the gap between the required competency and the competency level of the employee. To find the requirements of a basic employee training programs in the organization. To identify the organizational level difficulties in the implementation process of a training program.
