AmeriCUisholdingthisspecialconcertincooperationwithLockheedMartin,MartinsPoint,andCarthage AreaHospital,tothanktheU.S.Army10thMountainDivisionforalltheyhavedoneinvaliantservicetoour country.Morethan25,000peopleareexpectedtoattendtheconcert,whichisfreeandopentothepublic withfireworkstofollow.Lastyear,theinauguralSalutetotheTroopsTributeConcertfeaturednational recordingartistJakeOwen.Morethan20,000peopleattended.The2012AmeriCUSalutetotheTroops concertwasrecentlyrecognizedbytheNationalAssociationofFederalCreditUnionsasthebest promotionaleventinthecountry. BasedatFortDrum,NYthe10thMountainDivisionisalightinfantrydivisionoftheUnitedStates Army.ThedivisioniscomprisedoffoursubordinatesofBrigadeCombatTeams,aCombatAviation Brigade,andaSpecialTroopsBattalion.The10thMountainDivisionisamongoneofthemost deployedunitsoftheUnitedStatesArmy.Eachyear,theDivisionofFamily,Morale,Welfare& RecreationholdsthedaylongMountainFesteventatDivisionHillonFortDrum.
