Increased Glory Book 8 October 2012 Thought For Today: Your Set Time to Manifest Increased Glory!

Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow (1 Peter 1:11). This October is your month of Increased Glory- your month to manifest increased glory in your life! The Lord Jesus paid the ultimate price for your salvation and thus brought you into the transcendent lifethe life of glory. He was scourged with those terrible Roman whips, spat on, slapped, beaten and finally crucified on the cross. But while all that was going on, He only had one thing in His mind: the glory that should follow His suffering. The end-result of all the suffering of the Master is the life of glory that Hes brought us into. The Spirit of God wants you to know that this month is your set time to manifest that glory of God in increased measures in your life! This is that day and hour that the Spirit of God, through the prophets of old signified when they testified of the sufferings of Christ and the glory that should follow. Since Christ was successful in His mission of bearing your sins, sicknesses and pains, it means youve been successfully translated into the glorious life. You have absolutely no reason to suffer another day in your life! You dont have to be broke, sick or sad anymore because the glory has come and you are going to manifest it in increased measures! Praise the Lord! Now, not only did God call you to walk in His glory, He also went a step further by making you His glory: But we all with open face beholding as in a glass (mirror), the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord (2 Corinthians 3:18). When you look into a mirror, the image you see is your reflection. Thus the Apostle Paul in the scripture above wants you to know that youre the glory of God. This is your set time to walk more and more in the glory, beauty and perfection of God. Its your time to say no to the down life, and choose the life of victory and success. Hallelujah! Welcome to the month of Increased Glory!

8 October 2012 Thought For Today: Youre Created For Glory and For Beauty! So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them (Genesis 1:27). Amongst everything God created, youre the most beautiful, for youre the only one created in the image and likeness of God. God created you to look like Him and function like Him. Youre His excellent handiwork; His perfectly crafted masterpiece! He created you for glory and for beauty. No wonder the Psalmist said I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well (Psalm 139:14). When you study the account of creation youll notice that after God made everything from the first to the fifth day, He looked at what He had made and said, It was good (Genesis 1:4-25). But on the sixth day, after He had created man, the Bible says, God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good (Genesis 1:31). Man was the crowning beauty of Gods creationthe consummation of His work, and the cream of His creation. Youre the most beautiful thing that the world ever saw. Youre the perfection and epitome of beauty! Youre the reflection and manifestation of His glory. The Bible says youve been called to glory and virtue (2 Peter 1:3), and not for poverty, sickness, disease or infirmity. Youre too beautiful to be sick. Youre too beautiful for the down-life! Your life is for the glory of God, you were created for glory and for beauty and this month the Spirit says concerning you that it is your month to walk in increased glory! Hallelujah! So, I urge you to take advantage of this blog and all the posts well be sharing with you daily because well be showing you how to manifest Increased Glory this month as He has said. Praise the Lord! 9 October 2012 Thought For Today: Walking in Increased Glory by Doing the Word Consistently! My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). At our Global Communion Service, we talked about some of the ways in which you can manifest increased glory this month as the Spirit of God had said, and one of those ways is by walking in the Word. The only

thing standing between some folks and the experience of the glorious life in Christ to which theyve been called is their ignorance of Gods Word. If you lack the knowledge of Gods Word, youll live at a level far lower than where Jesus brought us to. The Bible says through knowledge revelation knowledge of the scriptures shall the just be delivered into their inheritance (Proverbs 11:9). You must never be too busy to study the Scriptures, or attend Church regularly for the Church is the place God has ordained for His children to learn and be built up in the Word. If you want to live the glorious life this month, you must go for the Word and walk in it consistently. Though God has brought you into the glorious life, ignorance can keep you from enjoying your inheritance in Christ; for you have to know what belongs to you to appropriate same into your life. The quality of life youre living today is directly proportional to your measure of knowledge of Gods Word. You cant have a life greater than your understanding of spiritual truths. The enemy may take advantage of a mans ignorance and keep him in bondage, but the moment the knowledge of Gods Word dawns on that mans spirit, hell walk out of the chains of bondage. Thats how powerful knowledge is! When you store up Gods Word in your heart, youll live to your highest potentials in life and manifest His glory. So, this month you must consciously go for the Word and consistently apply it in your situations! 11 October 2012 Thought For Today: Blessed With All Spiritual Blessings Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). Isnt it wonderful to know that the fullness of Gods blessings belong to you? In this month of increased glory, youll experience the bountiful blessings of God in overflowing measure. Somebody said, Ive been praying to God to bless me, thats the wrong prayer and in this month, you shouldnt pray that kind of prayer. This is because God isnt going to bless you any more than He already did. He already blessed you with ALL spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, not some. As a born again child of God, you dont need to look for any blessing anywhere else, or pray to God to bless you. Rather, recognize that the month of Increased Glory is your set time to enjoy the fullness of Gods

blessings. The Bible says you were called to inherit a blessing (1 Peter 3:9); you were born into the blessing because youre the seed of Abraham. The Lord told Abraham I will bless you and make you a blessing (Genesis 12:2). This promise was to Abraham and his seed (Galatians 3:16), which means not only are you blessed, you are also a blessing. Make up your mind today to live up to your calling. Youre full of the blessings of God. Theres no blessing in this world or in heaven that you should be asking God for, because all things are yours (1 Corinthians 3:2 1). Youll bask in superabundance this month! Your life will be filled with the good things of life in an overflowing measure, so that others who come in contact with you will witness this increased glory and also partake of the goodness of God in your life. This is the set time for that to happen says the Lord of host! Hallelujah! 12 October 2012 Thought For Today: Ever Increasing Glory Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before (Philippians 3:13). Its been a great year. Weve achieved so much in our ministry and in our evangelical work around the world by the power of Gods Spirit. Were so grateful to the Lord for the outpouring of His supernatural grace upon usto enable us achieve so muchfar beyond our goals and dreams. Now, we look forward with faith, confidence and assurance, knowing that the glory of this month shall outweigh the victories and triumphs of the previous months: The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts (Haggai 2:9). The Spirit of God has declared that in the month of October theres a higher realm of glory for you; theres a higher level of success for you. Regardless of the successes and victories that youve experienced thus far, theres still so much you can achieve! You can still ascend higher and move to the next level in your journey of success, for theres no end to your glory as a child of God. In the course of their journey to the Promised Land, the Israelites once dwelt in Mount Horeb. But seeing they were making that location a comfort-zone, God admonished them through Moses to move ahead.

Also, at Shiloh, Joshua challenged the children of Israel saying, For how long will you wait here, while theres still so much land for you to possess? (Joshua 18:3). Even at age eight-five, Caleb was willing to go to war and claim more lands for Jehovah (Joshua 14:10-11). I like to make more progress because thats the life we have in Christ its a life of ever-increasing glory! Thus our journey of success is in one direction: upward and forward. Weve been called to a life of unending success, victory and prosperity: But the path of the just is as the shining light that shineth more and more unto the perfect day (Proverbs 4:18). So I urge you, look to this month with hope, faith and confident assurance that youd win on every count! Theres increased glory for you! So, set your focus on the greater glories, successes, victories and triumphs the Lord has set before you. Hallelujah! 13 October 2012 Thought For Today: Youre The Effulgence of Gods Glory! And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one (John 17:22). Romans 8:30 says, Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. As Gods children, were the carriers of His glory. In Exodus 33:18, Moses begged to see the glory of God. But today, in the New Testament, not only does the glory reside in us, we have become the effulgence of Gods glory. Gods purpose isnt just to have His glory reside in you, but for you to be immersed and completely inundated by it until you become inseparable from the glory, thus becoming the glory. This is the reason the new creation, in the New Testament, is called the glory of God. Just as the Lord Jesus is the glory of God you too are the effulgence of the Fathers glory. So when you walk, its the glory of God walking, for your life is the expression of the glory of God. You need to understand that youre not journeying to become the glory of God; its already a present-hour reality. You were born to be the glory of God and to radiate Gods beauty in an ever increasing fashion. Wake up to this truth, and it will change your mentality! To continuously manifest increased glory this month, say concerning yourself daily, I am the glory of God; I dont fail! Im a success forever, praise God! It makes no difference the challenges you might be facing,

the glory of God is going to be manifested in that situation! Why? Because youre involved in it, and youre the glory of God, therefore youre being manifested. Romans 8:19 says For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. The whole creation is waiting for your showing up; its not the showing up of the weak and low-minded, but the showing up of the glory of God, the Sons of God. Live confidently today with this consciousness that youre the manifestation of the glory of God, the brightness of Gods beauty in the earth and experience that glory in your lifes circumstances! Praise the Lord! 14 October Thought For Today: Challenges Your Opportunity to Show Forth the Glory of God And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? (Job 1:8). The story of Job in the Old Testament reveals how God demonstrates confidence in us. He believed so much in Job and had confidence in his integrity that He challenged Satan with it. He does the same with us today. Ephesians 2:10 says For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Just like every good manufacturer brags about his product, God also boasts of you because youre His offspring; His specially crafted masterpiece; and He believes in what He has made. He made you so perfect and reposes all trust and confidence in you; to Him, youre topnotch! Hes confident that youll soar above any challenge that comes your way, knowing the stuff youre made of! He knows that youre more than a conqueror. Therefore, Hes unperturbed by how much trouble the devil throws at you! He is confident of His productYOUand He is not cautious to declare your authenticity anywhere. No matter the trials and challenges that may come your way this month, rejoice for they represent opportunities for you to manifest the greater glory and manifold wisdom of your heavenly Father. He knows youre capable of handling any situation. 1 Corinthians 10:13 says There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able

to bear it. The Lord has made you able and sufficient to bear all things and overcome every challenging circumstance that may come your way! Remember this month is the month of increased glory. Hallelujah! 15 October Thought For Today: Positioned for Increased Glory! According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust (2 Peter 1:3-4). God has positioned you for glory. To live the transcendent and glory-life He has called you to and positioned you for, your outlook on life must be from the perspective of His Word. You must live in the light of His Word and cease to observe situations like an ordinary man. God has already done all thats necessary for you to experience Increased Glory this month of October. But sadly, some Christians may still make the mistake of waiting for Him to do something about their situation. Some may even say theyre waiting for Him to take them to the Promised Landthat good and prosperous place, flowing with milk and honey. What such folks havent realized is that in the mind of God theyre already in the Promised Land! They got there the moment they were born again. In other words, as Gods children, they are already positioned in the best place they could ever be. Hallelujah! Observe again these inspiring words from our opening scripture: According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue. This is not a promise, but a statement of fact, a present- hour reality. You received the life and nature of God the moment you were born again and immediately, you were positioned for the transcendent life of glory. Everything you require to live that life to the full has already been granted you. So when God looks at you He doesnt see a weakling whos struggling to make it through life. Rather, He sees one who is more than a conqueror; whos been endued with the dynamic ability to effect changes in the circumstances of life. Sickness, poverty, defeat and failure are unnatural to the child of God. Ordinary men may be susceptible to all these

influences, but you have been positioned for the glory-life; a life of victory through the Word. So walk in the light of the Word today and experience increased glory. Hallelujah! 16 October Thought For Today: Manifesting the Glory Within! Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee (Isaiah 60:1). When the Bible says The glory of the Lord is risen upon you, it refers to the glory within! Its a spiritual terminology that shows that God has bestowed His grace upon your life. Its the outward manifestation of an indwelling divine influence. God has called you to the life of glory, which is beyond the earthly realm. That life is the manifestation of His glory: the perfections, beauty and excellence of divinity resident in your spirit! This therefore means that the glory of God is in your spirit, not on your head. Jesus walked and lived in the glory of God everyday while He walked on earth. The people living in His day saw Gods grace mightily at work in Him and testified to it: And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John 1:14). This month, God wants you to shine more and more in the beauty and excellence of His grace which He has bestowed on your life. He wants you to excel in your job, academics, projects, relationships and all that you do, until the world begins to wonder at you. The way to make this happen is to meditate continually on Gods Word, for the glory is in the Word. As you do this, that glory will rise from your spirit and be manifested in your life; through your words, deeds, and ideas from glory to glory! Hallelujah! 17 October Thought For Today: Manifesting Increased Glory Be Graceful In Your Communication Dont use bad language. Say only what is good and helpful to those you are talking to, and what will give them a blessing. (Ephesians 4:29 The Living Bible).

The Holy Spirit instructed us to meditate on Ephesians chapters 4 and 5 in order to manifest increased glory this month and well begin to share with you inspiring thoughts from those scripture portions. One of the thoughts given to us here by the Spirit is about our communication. In very instructive and categorical terms, the Spirit of God, through the Apostle Paul admonishes us not to engage in unwholesome or corrupt communication. Corrupt communication is any utterance, word, speech or question that doesnt edify or minister grace to the hearer. As a believer the words that proceed out of your lips should be words thatll minister healing to a broken heart, courage to the one who is discouraged, and comfort to the one who is in despair. This month, be graceful in your communication. The Bible lets us know that a perfect man is one who doesnt offend in words (James 3:2); his words or communication are not offensive. In other words, he doesnt speak words that are contrary to the Word of God. When he speaks, his hearers are blessed, uplifted and edified. Thats because his words are seasoned with grace. Some people are so used to criticizing others instead of blessing them and praying for them. Your confession towards those in your world must be constructive and edifying. The more you speak Gods Word towards them, the more His Word will influence their lives for good. For instance, your edifying communication concerning your nation and her leaders will cause progress and development. The Bible says by the blessing of the upright a nation is exalted (Proverbs 11:11). Damaging words could be more destructive than physical weapons of criminals. Thus in order to manifest the glory of God in your life in increasing measures this month, choose to communicate like your heavenly Father. Let your words be kind and affectionate. Refuse to have itching ears for gossips, and dont company with those who are fond of discussing the affairs of others. Let your words concerning people be graceful, inspiring, motivating and encouraging. This is what the Spirit desires of you. Praise the Lord! 18 October Manifesting Increased Glory: Being Humble and Patient With Others Be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each others faults because of your love. (Ephesians 4:2 The Living Bible)

Yesterday we began to share with you inspiring thoughts from the book of Ephesians as the Holy Spirit instructed us this month to meditate upon. In the scripture above the Spirit of God admonishes us to be humble and gentle. This is because the attitude of humility opens us up to His greater glory! Sometimes people dont know that their reasoning is affected and corrupted because of a wrong attitude. If you have the right attitude of humility, God will teach you wisdom, but for the one who is proud and haughty, Hell resist you. The Bible says God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. As you demonstrate humility this month, youll receive wonderful, beautiful, and creative thoughts from God, and your life will go from one level of glory to another. Pride goes before a fall. The man thats full of pride can be destroyed within a split second. David said, I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found (Psalm 3 7:3536). But concerning the righteous he says Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace (Psalm 37:3 7). Peace there means shalom in Hebrew, which refers to prosperity, divine health, favour, joyfulness, absolute wellbeing, etc. Thats the life of the man whose heart is perfect before the Lord, who serves God with humility of heart. God detests pride. Therefore, this month you must train yourself to be a humble man or woman. Some people say its difficult for rich and successful people to be humble; thats not true. Truly rich and successful people are usually the expression of humility; theyre often very humble. Thats the reason God exalted them to high levels of glory and success in the first place. That theyve been successful is proof that they must have been humble, since God resists the proud and gives more grace to the humble. Of course this doesnt refer to people who may have used the wrong means to project themselves in any way; thats false success and it will surely fade away. Understand that humility is the pathway to greatness. Learn to be humble for as you do so youll experience increased glory in your life this October. If you want the Lord to keep promoting and exalting you in life by increasing His glory upon you, then train yourself to be humble. 19 October Thought For Today: Manifesting Increased Glory- Keeping The Unity Of The Spirit

I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye were called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace (Ephesians 4:1-3). As a child of God, youre a member of Gods family, and its expedient for you to find your place in Gods house and contribute meaningfully. Now, in your bid to function in the house of God, you may have to join certain activity groups, cells or teams where you work alongside other believers. If youre in such teams, learn to be a team player. Always communicate with the rest of the team in such a way that lets them know youre in agreement with them. If for any reason youre not in agreement, express it in love so there will be no contention. Dont assume they should know; always speak up and never let disunity persist. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aarons beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore (Psalms 133:1-3). When we dwell together in unity as believers God commands the blessing, His greater glory is manifested in us and through us. Therefore, be quick and apt to project unity because it produces the power. In Genesis 11, we see how the whole world had one language and everyone functioned in unity. When they decided to build a tower that would reach into the heavens, God said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do (Genesis 11:6). This lets us know how much power and glory there is in unity, and how much we can achieve for the Kingdom if we learn to work together. We must therefore learn to put our differences aside and pursue the Masters vision with singleness of purpose. Our passion and pursuit must be to see that the whole earth is covered with the knowledge of Gods Word as the waters cover the sea. To consistently experience Gods greater glory this month, we must stand in one spirit, with one mind, and strive together for the faith of the Gospel (Phillipians 1:27). I love you and God bless you! 20 October Thought For Today: Manifesting Increased Glory Put Away Bitterness and Malice

Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger; and clamour and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice. And be ye kind one to another; tenderhearted, forgiving one another; even as God for Christs sake hath forgiven you (Ephesians 4:31-32). Bitterness and malice are offshoots of unforgiveness. Therere folks who say, I will never forgive so-and-so for what he did to me. Others add a different style to it and say I have forgiven him for what he did to me, but I dont think I can ever forget it As a child of God, you should act like your heavenly Father, who never recalls offences. Malice and bitterness will take the shine out of your life. If you want the beauty of God the glory of God to be seen in your, then refuse to keep malice or be bitter. I love the counsel given by the Spirit of God through the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 14:20, he said, Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men. Babies dont know how to be bitter or keep malice. Theyre too innocent for that; they dont have enough sense to regard or recognize any wrong done to them. Thats what the Spirit of God is telling you here; be as babies! Dont regard the wrongs done to you by others to the extent that you become bitter. One of the most dangerous effects of harbouring bitterness or malice in your heart is that it short-circuits the power of God in your life, making you unable to function with the Spirit. This was what happened to the Prophet Elisha in 2 Kings 3. When the Kings of Israel, Judah and Edom came to inquire of the Lord from him, the prophet spoke out in anger to the King of Israel: As the LORD of hosts liveth, before whom I stand, surely, were it not that I regard the presence of jehoshaphat the king of judah, I would not look toward thee, nor see thee (2 Kings 3:14). He then had to call for a minstrel (a musician) to play so the anointing could come on him. Elisha was so angry and bitter against the King of Israel that he couldnt hear what the Spirit was saying. Dont open the door to Satan in your life through bitterness and malice; put them away completely. If youve held anything against anyone, its time to sincerely forgive them and show them the love of the Father which has been shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah!

21 October Thought For Today: Experience The Glory of His Presence Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the Lord filed the tabernacle (Exodus 40:34-35). This month of October has truly been filled with Increased Glory as the Spirit of the Lord declared concerning us and well like to urge you to continue to share your experiences and testimonies with the world. Its always a joy to read your inspiring comments and to know that the Word of God that we share with you daily on this platform is alive and working in you. The glory of Gods presence is revealed when Gods children come together in unity to worship the Lord. The glory of His presence in such an environment causes upliftment and transformation in the life of everyone present. No wonder the Psalmist declared: Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aarons beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing even life for evermore (Psalm 133:1-3). The presence of God transforms your life. At the mount of transfiguration Peter, James and John experienced the glory of Gods presence so much that Peter said to Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here (Matthew 17:4). The glory was so overwhelming and fulfilling that they didnt want to leave. That experience transformed Peters life forever. In fact, he referred to it many years later, in his letter to the churches (2 Peter 1:1618). The Bible says, The hills melted like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth (Psalm 97:5). When you experience the glory of the Lords presence, His power becomes more real to you and all your problems melt and fade away. It dawns on your spirit that God is truly bigger than your adversaries. The Psalmist described it as the dew of Hermon (Psalm 133:3); thus in the presence of the Lord, your life is condensed with His blessings; youre divinely rejuvenated. No wonder the Bible says times of refreshing come from the presence of the Lord (Acts 3:19). There, youll find answers and solution to your

nagging concerns and doubts. In that presence, youll see a new picture of yourselfyoull see yourself the way God sees you in His Word. This is why you cant afford to miss your church services for the Lord is in the midst of His people: For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20). Hallelujah! 22 October Thought For Today: Manifesting Increased Glory Align Your Thoughts With The Word And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness (Ephesians 4:23-24). Gods desire is for us to think at His level, so we can talk and act like Him. Thats why He gave us His Word as the material to renew our minds. A Christian who is yet to renew his mind with the Word will not live a victorious life here on earth. In fact, the Bible refers to such Christians as carnally minded. To be carnally minded is to be sense-ruled. It means to think, talk and act according to the dictates of the flesh, and contrary to the Word of God. Gods thoughts transcend the sense realm; they are spiritual. The Apostle Paul, writing to the Church in Rome gave the importance of giving up your thoughts for His: And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God(Romans 12:2). In the Old Testament, the children of Israel couldnt experience Gods best because they couldnt relate with Him from the perspective of faith. Philippians 4:8 says, Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. this today and watch your life move from one level of glory to another. Hallelujah! 23 October Thought For Today: Manifesting Increased Glory Be Full Of Love For Others Follow Gods example in everything you do just as a much loved child imitates his father. Be full of love for others, following the example of Christ who loved you and gave himself to God as a sacrifice to take away your sins. And God was pleased, for Christs love for you was like sweet perfume to him. (Ephesians 5:1 The Living Bible) Going through the book of Ephesians chapters 4 and 5 as the Holy Spirit instructed us to do this month, has opened us to the various ways we can ensure that we manifest increased glory in our lives. Wed like to also specially thank you for the inspiring testimonies and experiences you share daily on this blog. The highest revelation of Christianity is Christ in you, living out His love in you. Thats because love is the highest and topmost quality of Gods character, so much so, that the Bible says, God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him (1 John 4:16). As a Christian, your life ought to be an outshining of Gods great loveHis unconditional and self-giving love! This is why the Spirit says to you today, you can walk in love even as Christ loved you. Youre a testimony of the Fathers great love. But Gods love is too high; how can one ever attain to such high level of love? you might ask! Well, Jesus already prayed in John 17:26: And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and l in them. Sometimes I read this verse and cry because its just too much. Jesus asked that our heavenly Fathers love may be in us. We know God heard His prayer because in Romans 5:5, Paul tells us that the same love Jesus prayed about has now been shed in abundance in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. So, you dont need to try to attain to Gods level of love, for His love is already in you, and it ought to drive you into action for the Kingdom. The Bible says, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16). Gods love for the world drove Him to give His very best for the salvation of others.

This also should be your testimony; the Fathers love in you should compel you to put others first, give your all to the Lord, and dedicate yourself to the expansion of His Kingdom. It should motivate you to preach and give big-time for the propagation of the Gospel! The Fathers love in you should compel you to lay your all down for the Lord and live unto Him: For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again (2 Corinthians 5:1 4-1 5). Praise the Lord! 24 October Thought For Today: Manifesting Increased Glory- You Are The Express Image of God Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines forth (Psalm 50:2 AMP). Zion is revealed as the perfection of beauty, from where Gods glory shines forth. This means were meant to radiate the glory of God as citizens of Zion because we have received eternal life, the God-kind of life. The world ought to see the expression of Gods beauty in our lives, for were the bearers of His splendour. In Hebrews 1:3, the Bible describes Jesus as the effulgence of Gods glory, and the express image of his person. And the Lord Jesus himself proclaimed, he that hath seen me hath seen the Father (John 14:9). As a Christian, the same truth applies to you today, because as he (Jesus) is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:1 7). Youre the express image of Gods Person and the out-shining of His glory. Thats the reason fear, sickness or lack cant rule over you; youre too beautiful to be sick or live a beggarly life! Youre ordained to function in divine health, strength, abundance and prosperity. You see, when the Bible says youre the perfection of beauty, it means that the fullness of God, with all the totality of His power, dwells in you. So youre complete in Him (Colossians 2:10). However, its important that you let this truth dawn on your spirit irrespective of the circumstances around you. Jacob only recognized the presence of God around him after he had a dream in which he saw angels of God descending and ascending into heaven on a ladder. Then he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not (Genesis 28:16).

Recognize today that God dwells in you today, and learn to fellowship with Him with your spirit, for the bible says, God is a Spirit; and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth (John 4:24). Then you will be able to manifest His glory to the world! Hallelujah! 25 October Thought For Today: Manifesting Increased Glory in your Finances Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth (Ephesians 4:28). Gods resources are limitless; His wealth is infinite. As His kids, were His heirs; all that He has belongs to us. In this month of Increased Glory, He desires for you to function in super abundance and the way youll experience this is through your giving. Therere many who believe the reason they should work is so they can make ends meet, or earn a living. But thats not what the Word of God teaches. Our opening scripture reveals that the reason you ought to work is so you would have to give; you work to make a giving, not a living. Some people live as though the Bible says My God shall supply all your needs according to how much youre paid at your place of work. You need to look to the Lord as your source of income and livelihood, and not to your job. He supplies all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Natural circumstances may try to force you to believe that your job or business is the only means by which you can receive money, but refuse to let such a thought rule your life. The Bible didnt say Work, that you may have money; rather, it says, Work that you may have to give. Your job is a medium or channel through which you bless others and in so doing, youll manifest increased glory this month. Giving is Gods established medium to prosper you financially. Therefore, it doesnt matter how much youre paid at your job or business, never take it as your source of income. Through your giving, you multiply riches and wealth. I urge today to look out for opportunities to be a blessing to others, and the Spirit of God, apart from helping you increase your capacity to give more, will cause you to dwell in the realm of super-abundance, where youll keep manifesting His greater glory in your finances this month. 26 October 2012 Manifesting Increased Glory- Be Filled With the Holy Ghost: And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God (Ephesians 5:18-21). Having received the Holy Spirit after youre born again, theres a day-today or continual infilling of the Spirit that you must experience in order to live the higher life of glory to which youve been called. The latter part of our opening scripture lets us know what to do to be filled with the Spirit like this: youll have to speak to yourself in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs! Youll have to consciously talk, sing, and make melody of the Word, in your heart, to the Lord! Youll have to give thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and submit yourself to others in holy reverence. Making this a conscious and consistent practice is how to be full of the Spirit all the time. When you let the Holy Spirit work through you and youre overflowing with His fullness, you wont need to try to muster boldness to say or do things. You wont need to try to stir up some power in the face of adversity. Whenever you open your mouth to speak, youll speak the wisdom of God; words that are divinely inspired, because youre full of the Holy Ghost. If you want the greater glory of God to be seen in your life; if you want to walk in dominion over the devil, sickness, disease, infirmities and death, then you must consciously and consistently practice being filled with the Spirit these remaining days of October. Make this a personal goal from today, and the challenges that may come your way will be walkovers for you, and nothing will be impossible unto you. Youll be able to change hopeless situations and walk in Gods increased glory because youre full of the Holy Ghost and power. Hallelujah!

27 October Thought For Today: Manifesting Increased Glory- Created In His Image Therefore be imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father] (Ephesians 5:1). The only reason the above scripture implores us to imitate Godour Father is that were like Him! Were created in His image and in His likeness; we have His nature, which gives us the ability to act like Him. This means we can actually copy Him; we can do things like Him. We can think, speak, act and live exactly as the Lord did while He physically walked the face of the earth. He was never defeated or disadvantaged; He couldnt be! Thats the same life Hes given to us- a life of ever increasing glory. Talking about Jesus and us, the Bible says, as He is so are we in this world (1 John 4:1 7). Weve been initiated into the same kind of life filled with greatness and glory! We have his character and the same essence of divinity, having become one with Him. Thats the big thing about Christianityour oneness with the Lord! Now, therere folks who as a result of their ignorance of new creation realities claim its impossible to act like God or do things like Him. Such folks always quote the words of the prophet Isaiah: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). This scripture doesnt refer to the new creation but to folks in the Old Testament, who lived under the old covenant. When you were born again, you accepted Gods ways, and His life and nature of righteousness was imparted into your spirit. Consequently, His ways became your ways and His thoughts became your thoughts. Glory to God! No wonder the Bible says we have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:1 6). That means we now have the ability to think, live and do things like Him. Let this be your consciousness today and always as we come to the final days of an exciting month filled with every increasing glory! Praise God!
