The UP Los Baos College of Veterinary Medicine Student Council (CVM-SC), the highest governing student body in the college, is continuously conducting projects, actions and activities to promote students rights and welfare and to foster public services in the community.

Trivia/A little history: When Pres. Marcos declared Martial Law in 1972, he abolished the UP Student Council as well as the College Student Councils. However, in 1978, elections were held again for the first time. Lynn Lincumpao was the 1st CVM SC Chair when CVM is still in UP Diliman.

Jayvee Ovejera Notes: -Association of Veterinary Medical Students (AVMS) party was formed in which each CVM organizations have one representative in a line up to run for a councilor. The founding chairman was Jayvee Ovejera. The main objective of the party is for the college to be more involved in the national and students issue. Through time the AVMS was changed into VMSA (Veterinary Medical Students Association) party. -The vote turn out of that years CVM election was 56%, the highest so far after the First Quarter Storm (FQR) on 1970 Ref: Jayvee Ovejera
