PERSONAL MINISTRY STATEMENTS

MISSION: God has called and equipped me to provide visionary leadership and train others to be effective
leaders so that together we can help people meet Jesus. (Luke 19:10) (Col. 1:25, 28).

OBJECTIVES:
To powerfully communicate God's message of faith, hope, and love to the world.
To effectively educate God’s people in regards to mission of his people (the Church) in the world.
To passionately motivate students in a powerful life long relationship with Jesus Christ, reaching them to teach
their generation.
To relentlessly emulate the earth shattering life and love of Jesus Christ

Experience

SAN DIEGO FIRST ASSEMBLY -San Diego CA July 2007-October 2008


Directed spiritual formation and vision of ministries 6th-12th grades. Led and trained 3-4 paid ministry staff and
interns in addition to 20+ volunteers, 160+ students. Fashioned department promotional materials, message
series, and web design. Offered pastoral care to students and families. Assisted in church wide creative roles,
spoke in services and lead evening worship as needed. Taught youth ministry fundamentals at bible school in
Quin Ming, China. Equipped "student-led" campus outreaches, and mentored students as campus missionaries.
Key Achievements: Took a disconnected student ministry and bridged into overall vision and focus. Connected
disconnected and outcast students to student ministry social body. Nearly tripled student ministry attendance,
pioneered middle school ministry, developed systematic/strategic school based small group program.
Mentored creative arts associate, 45 students accepted Christ. Successful and mission focused youth ministry
culture. Reason for Leaving: Let Go “Without Cause” Possibly incompatible ministry focus’

BETHEL ASSEMBLY OF GOD - Sedro-Woolley WA March 2006 –July 2007


Spent over a year in poor rural small town, successfully leading "social gospel" work (tutoring, mentorships),
midweek programs, weekend discipleship, parachurch partnerships, cast vision and implemented college and
career small group network. Key achievements: Effectively recruited and sustained leadership team, created
community partnerships, numerically grew student ministries in high school and college age (doubling in each
group). Reason for Leaving: Senior Pastor was fired for moral failure.

ST. PETER’S PRESBYTERIAN- Huntington Beach CA July 2005-March 2006


Served as interim PT Student Ministry Director, energetically reinvigorated dilapidated program in elderly church
(average age 63 years old!) Directed community outreaches towards youth, directed middle school and high
school programs teaching and programming and events Key Achievements: Over saw substantial energy and
numerical increases, led first youth missions trip ever to Mexico, established thriving leadership team, connected
younger community students and parents to the church. Reason for Leaving: Part-time, Interim Position
