Praise the Lord everyone, Seems like that God has made time to run faster. It feels like the months are coming by so fast. I wonder if this is what He meant when He said that He would shorten the days. We know that His coming is not far off. Here it is another Mothers' Day. Sister Bogue and I would like to wish all the Mothers a very happy day. I was thinking about this special day honoring Motherhood and my mind could not help but go to the mothers who are not really mothers and seemed to be burdened down because of their children. Children are being mistreated both verbally and physically every day. Some one

asked me recently "Why ers. We love you all does God allow women Bishop and Sister Bogue who are going to mistreat their babies to have children. He knows all things before they happen." Sorry, I could not give an answer to that question. God does know all things and He is still in charge, so whatever He does will be all right with me. God is blessing us here in Georgia. The church is growing slowly. We are having fantastic services. It cer- You are the Light of the World tainly is nothing we are doing , but it is the grace of God. Sister Bogue is doing great. Her voice has come back and she is able to lead singing once again. Thanks again for all your pray-

Standing On the Shoulders of Giants

Remember them that have
the rule over you, men that spake unto you the word of God; and considering the issue of their life, imitate their faith Hebrews 13:7 Bishop H.E. Honea was a man of deep, abiding faith in God and love for people. He went home to be with the Lord on June 10, 2009 leaving behind an impressive legacy of life and ministry. Born Oct. 30, 1939. He was saved and called to preach in April 1953, filled with the Holy Ghost in 1955 and baptized in Name of Jesus Christ in 1958. He preached in 32 states, 3 foreign countries and pastored in 4 states. Ordained Bishop in 1965, Bishop Honea ordained 120 ministers and 32 surrendered to preach under his ministry. Bishop Honea pastored the Tullahoma Church for 46 years and founded the First Church of Jesus Christ Organization in 1965, and the Banner of Love in 1966. He will be remembered as a tenderhearted, loving and forgiving man of faith whose life passion was the Kingdom of God. We do well to follow his example.

Editors Desk
Recent experience on an Apostolic Internet forum has left me astounded at the lack of understanding on the part of Apostolics of even the most basic doctrines of our faith. Now, as never before, it is imperative for us as Ministers of the Gospel to ensure that our people are rooted and grounded in the truth! The true people of God are Pentecostal in experience and Apostolic in doctrine. This is what Jesus taught and led His disciples to be. The true worshippers worship him in spirit and in truth. The Foundation of Truth (Eph2:20) is the Oneness of God and the absolute Deity of Jesus Christ. (Isaiah 43:10, John 8:24). It is of the utmost importance to be born again of water and the Spirit (John 3:5, Acts 2:38). This means Repentance and Water Baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Why would any true heart attempt to enter the Kingdom some other way?

A Walk of Faith!
Let Not Your Heart be Troubled! Ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled. Matthew 24:6 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be over. For, behold the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity. In the shadow of thy wings will I make my

refuge, until these calamities be past. Your life is hid with Christ in God. He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting the Lord. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.Shelia Yates

We desire not only to see believers live victoriously, but to help them become rooted and grounded enough in Gods Word to reach out and teach others these same principles

First Church of Jesus Christ

Who We Are
The First Church of Jesus Christ brings a complete Biblical message of the New Covenant way of life, as originally intended by our Lord, to His people.

One WorldOne Word

While the benefits of Jesus' life, death and resurrection are available to all, FCJC is specifically looking for those who are not satisfied with the "status quo". We unashamedly bring a revolutionary message to the Body of Christ and the world. We believe that God is looking for a few serious, committed, and sold out people through whom He can show Himself strong. We believe that God has provided a total Gospel with a total healing for the total man: spirit, soul, and body. We believe that Jesus offered no excuse for believing what He preached, and neither do we. We offer help and healing to anyone, anytime, for anything. We are thankful to Jesus for commissioning us to preach "a Gospel that works". The sick are healed, the dead are raised, the good news is preached to the poor (not just the rich). Our mission is to eradicate sin, sickness, and unnecessary suffering through the proclamation and demonstration of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. We are planting churches and ministries around the world. If you are looking for a ministry to connect with that is doing something, this might be the one for you. If you are ready to manifest His presence rather than just soak in it, FCJC is an effective way to make a difference in the real world. We believe that Christians should live consecrated lives of obedience to the Word of God. We are for holiness, health, and charity. We are against sin, sickness, and a weak powerless gospel that blames the sick and hurting for being sick and hurt-ing. If you are weak, we will be strong for you. If you are strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, come help us help others. .
