Describe at least 2 suitable WAN technologies for each of Wilkes three connectivity situations: office to office, mobile user to office and home to office. Which option do you recommend above all and why? Office to office: Frame Relay and ATM As a connection between two offices is a permanent virtual link, packet switching can be used for communication between offices. So the packet switching WAN technologies Frame Relay and ATM can be used.

Home to office: Dial-up and Leased line For an employee to work from home, equipment is easily available and can have connection easily set up. Using a telephone line, connection can be made, which is easier and reliable. Dial- up and leased line can be used for communication
The WAN (Wireless Area Network) in an office building is very expensive. The best option is to have Ethernet LAN's at each office building with VPN connections to a central office over the internet.
