A RESOLUTION CANVASSING THE RETURNS

AND DECLARING THE RESTILTS OF AN
ELECTION HELD ON THE THIRD DAY OF
APRrL, L982, FOR THE PURPOSE OF
ELECTING A MAYOR, FIVE ALDERMAN ATilD
A MARSHAL FOR THE TOVfN OF PELICAN BAY,
TEXAS.

WHEREAS, heretofore, the Board of Alderman bf the Town of

Pe1i-can Bay, Texas, adopted a resolution calling an election

to be held in said city on the third day of April, L982, for

the purpose of electing a Mayor, five Alderman to serve on

the Board of Alderman for the Town of Pelican Bay, Texas, and,

WHEREAS, the Mayor, the Marshal and the Alderman selected for

Places I and 2 were to be elected for a term of two yearsandd;

3,4 and 5 were to be elected for a term of one year and;

WHEREAS, said election was duly held at the time and at the

place specified in the said resolut,ion after due notice as

required by law had been given, and;

WHEREAS, there were cast at said election a total of 63 votes

and;

WHEREAS, only the oJualified electors of the Town of Pelican

Bay,lexas, were allorr,rled to vote in said election;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMAN OF

THE TOIfN OF PELICAN BAY, TEXAS:
