World Trade Organization (WTO):


WTO is an organization that intends to supervise and liberalize international trade. The organization officially commenced on January 1, 1995 under the Marrakech Agreement, replacing the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT), which commenced in 1948. The organization deals with regulation of trade between participating countries; it provides a framework for negotiating and formalizing trade agreements, and a dispute resolution process aimed at enforcing participants, adherence to WTO agreements, which are signed by representatives of member governments.

2. Association of South East Asia: History of ASEAN:


Association of South East Asia began with the month of July 1961 by Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines have jointly established a Volunteer Association or the Association of South East Asia to cooperate in economic, social and cultural. But action is only two years to a halt. Because of the shift in international politics.Indonesia and Malaysia The purpose of the establishment of ASEAN in the environment caused by demand for external security.

Objective of ASEAN:
Treaty of unity and cooperation in Southeast Asia.A summary of the guidelines of the Association of Southeast Asia in the following six items. 1. To respect the sovereignty, independence and equality. Territorial integrity and national identity of all members. 2. Member States, each state has the right to be free from interference from outside. Land invasions and enforced. 3. Will not meddle with internal affairs of other member states. 4. Accept the differences between them. Or solve the problem peacefully between themselves. 5. Condemn or not accept the threat or use of force. 6. The cooperation effectively.

3. North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA):

Implementation of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) began on January 1, 1994. This agreement will remove most barriers to trade and investment among the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Under the NAFTA, all non-tariff barriers to agricultural trade between the United States and Mexico were eliminated. In addition, many tariffs were eliminated immediately, with others being phased out over periods of 5 to 15 years. This allowed for an orderly adjustment to free trade with Mexico, with full implementation beginning January 1, 2008.

4. South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC):


SAARC is an organization of South Asian nations, which was established on 8 December 1985 when the government of Bangladesh, Bhutan,India , Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka formally adopted its charter providing for the promotion of economic and social progress, cultural development within the South Asia region and also for friendship and cooperation with other developing countries. It is dedicated to economic, technological, social, and cultural development emphasizing collective selfreliance. Its seven founding members are Sri Lanka, Bhutan,India , Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, andBangladesh. Afghanistanjoined the organization in 2007.

Objectives Of SAARC
The objectives and the aims of the Association as defined in the Charter are: to promote the welfare of the people of South Asia and to improve their quality of life; to accelerate economic growth, social progress and cultural development in the region and to provide all individuals the opportunity to live in dignity and to realize their full potential; to promote and strengthen selective self-reliance among the countries of South Asia; to contribute to mutual trust, understanding and appreciation of one another's problems; to promote active collaboration and mutual assistance in the economic, social, cultural, technical and scientific fields; to strengthen cooperation with other developing countries; to strengthen cooperation among themselves in international forums on matters of common interest; and to cooperate with international and regional organizations with similar aims and purposes. to maintain peace in the region

5. South Asian Free Trade Area or SAFTA:


SAFTA is an agreement reached on 6 January 2004 at the 12 SAARC summit in Islamabad, Pakistan. It created a free trade area of 1.6 billion people in Bangladesh,Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.The seven foreign ministers of the region signed a framework agreement on SAFTA to reduce customs duties of all traded goods to zero by the year 2016. The SAFTA agreement came into force on 1 January 2006 and is operational following the ratification of the agreement by the seven governments.

Objectives of SAFTA:
The objective of the agreement is to promote good competition in the free trade area and to provide equitable benefits to all the countries involved in the contracts. It aimed to benefit the people of the country by bringing transparency and integrity among the nations. SAFTA was also formed in order to increase the level of trade and economic cooperation among the SAARC nations by reducing the tariff and barriers and also to provide special preference to the Least Developed Countries (LDCs)among the SAARC nations.

6. European Union (EU):


The European Union (EU) is an economicand political union of 27 member states that are

located primarily in Europe.The EU operates through a system of supranationalindependent institutions and intergovernmentalnegotiated decisions by the member states. Institutions of the EU include the European Commission, the Council of the European Union, the European Council, the Court of Justice

of the European Union, theEuropean Central Union, the Court of Auditors, and the European Parliament.
The European Parliamentis elected every five years by US Citizen. The EU's de facto capital is Brussels. The EU traces its origins from the European Coal and Steel Community (ECSC) and theEuropean Economic Community (EEC), formed by the Inner Six countries in 1951 and 1958 respectively.
