Maiocco called the Fourth Regular Meeting of the Medford City Council to order at 7:00 P.M at the Howard F. Alden Memorial Auditorium, Medford City Hall.

MOTION, ORDERS AND RESOLUTIONS 11-035-Offered by President Maiocco Be it Resolved that the Mayor report on what financial impact, if any, the recent ruling from the MA Supreme Judicial Courts decision regarding allowing cities to assess and tax utilities properties on present value methodology.

11-036-Offered by Councillor Lungo-Coehn Be it resolved that the Administration update the Medford City Council on all grants that have been applied for within the last 12 months and all monies we have received from those grants. 11-037-Offered by Councillor Lungo-Coehn Be it resolved that the Fire Chief update the council on whether or not he has applies for this years Safer Grants, which need to b e applied for by Feb. 1, 2011. Two years ago the city was able to obtain monies from these grants and it would be a shame to miss the opportunity. 11-038-Offered by Councillor Lungo-Coehn Be it resolved that the City of Medford look into hiring a grant writer.
