Stitch Class-600(Flat Seam Stitch) It is formed with two or more groups of threads and for general characteristics has two groups cover the raw edges of both surface of material. Loops of first group of thread are passed through loops of third group already cast on the surface of the material and then through the material where they are interlooped with loops of the second group of thread on the underside of the material. However, 601 have only two groups of thread and function of third group is performed by one of the threads in first group.

STITCH CLASSIFICATION
Stitch Type-607 Stitch formed with 4-needle threads, a top cover thread and a bottom looper thread. Preferred over 605 stitch because machines are easier to maintain. Usage- Flat or Lap Seaming Knit Underwear, Fleece, etc.
