Champ Camp

Please join us June 28th-30th, 2013 at the Barron County Fairgrounds for the st 1 Annual BC4HY Horse Project Champ Camp!
The camp will run from Friday, June 28th at 4:00pm through the Fun Show on Sunday, June 30th. We will proceed Rain or Shine. The camp is for any active horse project member from any county in the NW Wisconsin District that is age 8 and older and has completed Third (3rd) grade. Campers must be able to ride at a trot. A riding helmet and hard-soled boots are required for each rider. Closed-toed shoes must be worn when handling horses or in stalls with horses. No flip-flops! Horses must be well-mannered in a group setting away from home and the campers must be able to saddle, bridle and care for their horse. A 2013 negative Coggins is required for each horse. You may only ride the horse that youve brought to the campno riding others horses. Each participant must have a designated adult guardian on premises that is responsible for them. Cell phones and all electronic devices are not permitted during clinic participation.

Attendance of a minimum of four (4) segments of camp will count for one (1) training center for your chosen discipline. Attendance of all segments of camp will count for two (2) training centers for your chosen discipline. The cost per member is $100.00. (+ $50.00 for additional members of same family) and includes: Five segments by professional clinicians Three segments by local training center leaders/volunteers doing specialized training Two nights camping (with your own camper or tent) Stalls for your horse(s)** Four meals* o Friday supper o Saturday breakfast, lunch and supper Campfire, smores and fun evening activities A Champ Camp T-shirt/tank top Entry fee for Fun Show for unlimited classes for one horse/rider combination (additional horses are
subject to standard show registration fees) *meals are included for paid camp attendees. Parents or non-paid family members are welcome to join for $5.00 per meal, per person. We will have a cash jar on site. **A $25.00 deposit will be required for stalls/campsites. Upon checkout with a BC4HYHP Leader, the check will be returned. **Bedding, feed and stall care are responsibility of camp attendee **Camp attendees must check-out with a BC4HYHP Leader and have stall(s) and campsite(s) approved to receive refund of $25.00 deposit. If youd like to use your stall during Fun Show, you may request a leader check you out at the end of the show on Sunday.***
Returned/NSF checks will be subject to a $30.00 fee plus any associated fees incurred by BC4HYHP.
