Professional Experiences Working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Aquatic Resource Management, Sylhet Agricultural University, Sylhet, Bangladesh since November 2010 and worked in the same Department as Lecturer from November 2009 to November 2010. Main responsibility: Teaching and research. Teaching mainly on Physico-chemical Limnology, Biological Limnology, Inland Fisheries Management, Fish Population Dynamics, Community Based Fisheries Management, and Aquatic Environment and Water Pollution in honours level and various subjects in M.S. level. Worked as Scientific Officer from July 2006 to November 2009 in Head Quarters, Freshwater Station and Floodplain Sub-station. Main responsibility: As a Scientific Officer of BFRI, I have performed research work on fisheries related various projects as Principal and Co-principal Investigator, e.g. Coordinated project for production and dissemination of improved carp breeds, Standardization of the breeding technique and development of culture technique of Bheda (Nandus nandus) etc. As a Sub-station Chief I have to perform many managerial activities as well as preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual progress reports, preparation of monthly presentation and present at monthly meeting, office management etc. As a Hatchery-in-Charge, I have to conduct breeding programmes of various types of fishes to run the hatchery all the year round.
