Nokia N9 QuickTweak tool v9.5 (for PR 1.

3 only)
Hello This app have a different set of tweaks like Speed Up Transitions based on versions from PR1.1 that created by F2thaK (Thanks) I also used some stuff from Almehdins script and I got a big help with some my commands from hxka from Russian forum (Thanks to both of you). This script work properly only on PR 1.3 and base/blanco theme !!!

This package including option to Backup files from your phone before you start to tweak. I tried this app a few times and its work perfectly and quickly, but still I'm not responsible for the damage will cause to your phone . (video of F2thaK v2.6)

If you use Home screen settings app, use N9 QTwaek carefully it can cause REBOOT LOOP ! DONT use rotation from tweak A, B and background changer from tweak W !!! If you use some tweaks that you need write something, PLEASE write letters exactly like in default or example strings, big or small letters. You will see this in the question like (def. LIGHT), this mean write big letters, or (ex. ffffff) this mean write small letters. If you will do mistake, sometimes this can cause REBOOT LOOP. If you broke your device and you need to reflash, you can use my instruction or read this post.

Before installation, make sure you have "allow other sources" set in settings and developer-mode activated. Installation: Download and transfer the .deb file (thanks to Ammyt & hxka) to your phone. Install the .deb file by the usual way (double tap on file). Go to application Homescreen. You will see a new icon (Thanks to 3llipsis) at the end of the list and you can see the PDF instruction inside the: /home/user/MyDocs/Documents Tap on it and it will ask you for password of devel-su (default: rootme) Choose letter you want and press Enter (you can write big or small character). NOTE: Run Create Backup !!! (tweak K) on your first use of this app, you need to do this only once ! When you will update to new version, you DONT need to do this again.. You also dont need to run Restore before updating ! To update to new version, just install new .deb file (double click). If you forget to create backup, you can download my clean backup. Just extract from ZIP and put to your phone, to: /home/user/MyDocs. After creating Backup, start to play with tweak A, because of some tweaks that uses same files and if you restore A, this also can restore some other tweaks and you will need reapply them You can choose more of one tweaks separated by one space and press ENTER. (ex: A B D E ... Enter) Some tweaks need refresh or reboot and if you want to use more tweaks in the same session, just put this letters at the end. Or use what you want, but don't refresh them until the end of the session. Tweaks menu: A. Speed Up Transitions MODs You have a three different options (this need refresh): 1. Full Speed Up Transition MOD - include landscape mod for Home & Lockscreen. 2. Speed Up Transitions with Only Homescreen Landscape 3. Speed Up Transitions with Only Lockscreen Landscape 4. Only Speed Up Transitions - without landscape mod for Home & Lockscreen. 5. Restore to default This will restore your backup files. B. Landscape MODs - You can choose a few options separated by one space and press Enter (ex. 1 4 enter). For Exit, just press enter: 1. Full Landscape MOD (Home & Lockscreen) 2. Only Homescreen Landscape MOD 3. Only Lockscreen Landscape MOD 4. FOUR sides rotation for meegotouch apps 5. THREE sides rotation for meegotouch apps 6. Hide statusbar for meegotouch apps 7. Vesuri mod for Stock apps rotation for more info, PLEASE see Vesuris thread !!! Restoration of this mod is NOT included in option 9 and NOT included in tweak Z !!! 8. Screen rotation sensitivity You can change sensitivity of Accelerometer (thanks to Almehdins script and dvarlamoff).. This have auto-refresh. For landscape and portrait (1 & 2) = The higher value, you need more rotate the phone to rotate the screen. For acceleromer (3) = higher value for more sensitivity, low value for low sensitivity.. 9. Restore to default (except Vesuri mod) Explanation: Options 4 & 5 work ONLY for NON locked meegotouch apps (apps written without QML). For ex. after applying you can use your Player or Clock with upside down, Terminal and Browser in all 4 sides of your device (thanks to CODeRUS).

D. Virtual Keyboard MODs This tweak will add few alpha-numeric vkbs (Thanks to ildar_sh). I edited this a little and created some other vkbs - English, Hebrew, French, Turkish, Italian, Slovak, Russian & Spanish. You can choose what install/uninstall. In a landscape mode, the vkbs will stay a normal (see pic). Enlarge Landscape Virtual Keyboard Enlarge a little your landscape VKB (Thanks to leo1994). I used version 1.1 and edited it with speed up duration from Faster Transition and stretched spacebar. You also have option for activating stretched spacebar for regular english (gb & us) vkb's without enlarging. Reboot needed! You can choose to restart immediately or not. Enable/ Disable extra settings for Swype This will activate extra setting for swipe vkb (thanks to Almehdins script). Enable/Disable terminal function keys this will add key F1-F12 to terminal vkb (thanks to Camerado). Disable/Restore swipe info bubbles Sometimes you see this bubbles in swipe vkb (thanks to ajalkane). Enable/Disable better haptic feedback You will feel better your vkb (thanks to qwazix). Enable/Disable Harmoji New vkb with emoji, see this post (thanks to MFaroTusino). Enable/Disable keyboard theme slightly change the look of the keyboard (thanks to dannejanne, AMD, Gandan, Kozzi, Xt4zy, MK99, Thedead14440). For this tweak you NEED clean backup !!! E. Games MODs if you have problem with saving game Samurai II, Gears, Roboto and Konas Crate this option help you to fix this. This also have option to Disable NFC in Angry Birds Magic. Added option Mighty Eagle for Angry Birds Classic (thanks to hoody). Also added option for android games apkenv (thanks to thp for apkenv and Kozzi for icons and script). Instruction: 1. Go to thp site: http://thp.io/2012/apkenv/ and download: a. apkenv harmattan b. libc.so, liblog.so, libm.so, libstdc++.so and libz.so 2. Put them into: /home/user/MyDocs/Apkenv/Packages 3. Find/Download .apk files of games, for now only 4 games work on N9/50: a. Angry Birds Space b. Angry Birds Seasons c. Angry Birds Rio d. Angry Birds (2.3.0) e. Fruit Ninja 4. Rename this files to: a. Angry Birds Space => abspace.apk b. Angry Birds Seasons => abseasons.apk c. Angry Birds Rio => abrio.apk d. Angry Birds (2.3.0) => absurf.apk e. Fruit Ninja => fruitninja.apk 5. Put this files to: /home/user/MyDocs/Apkenv 6. Go to tweak E-7, Install first apkenv (option 1) and after this games (option 2). You can choose a few options separated by one space, for example: 1 2 (for installation of apkenv and games in one shot). Saving games: All you scores/levels will be saved automatically !!! (thanks to PIDk).

Troubleshooting: If game not started via pressing on the desktop icon, you DONT need to remove it (it just desktop file). You need only change the .apk file in: /home/user/MyDocs/Apkenv to another version until you will find the correct version that can play on your device.

F. Lock screen & Low power screen MODs This will add operator logo to your lockscreen (Thanks to superjunior). You dont need LPMCustomizer anymore This also will change date size to a little bigger and the regular clock font to bold. You have options for changing color of the date & clock on the lock screen and clock on the low power screen. You also have option for custom Clock & Date on Lock screen. Also added option for green icon for the full charged battery. And also you can apply some colored icons for low power screen and statusbar (see pic). You can choose a few options separated by 1 space and press Enter (ex. 1 4 7... enter). Explanation for Oplogo: 1. Create picture named oplogo with an 120x120 px dimension and with .png extension (oplogo.png). 2. Put this images from your PC to: /home/user/MyDocs/Pictures 3. Open N9 QTweak app (password of devel-su, default: rootme), choose f [hit Enter], then choose 1 [hit Enter]. 4. Your setting will take effect after refresh. NOTE: * If you want bigger one 1. Create picture with the same name (oplogo.png). 2. Put this images from your PC to: /home/user/MyDocs/Pictures 3. Open N9 QTweak app (password of devel-su, default: rootme), choose f [hit Enter], then choose 2 [hit Enter]. 4. This will ask you to insert first number and second number of your size. This number its a mm. Example: if you have picture 140x160px, the first number is 14 and the second is 16. 5. Your setting will take effect after refresh. Added new option for transferring your custom colored icons to Tweak F-5. For now, Tweak F-5 have this list of colored icons for lowpower screen & statusbar (your backup also have ONLY this icons set):

You can change them if you want by creating new icons and putting them to the folder named .newicons on your phone: /home/user/MyDocs/.newicons After this, go to the tweak F, choose option 6, then press enter. Your new icons will override this icons list. Now go to tweak F again, choose option 5 to apply them, then press enter. Reboot needed at the end. By this way you can add and apply more/other icons like "qneptunea", but before doing this, you will need to backup your other icons manually... Activate Fullscreen image for Lockscreen its activate a big-fullscreen image for Lockscreen Landscape MOD, but before you apply this, you need to do something... Read this (thanks to jflatt). Explanation:

1. Create 1 or 5 pictures named mywall with an 854x854 px dimension and with .png extension (mywall1.png , mywall2.png , mywall3.png, mywall4.png, mywall5.png, mywall6.png, mywall7.png). Just remember what the picture and what his number 2. Put this images from your PC to: /home/user/MyDocs/.wallpapers/ 3. Open N9 QTweak app (password of devel-su, default: rootme), chooce F, then 7 [hit Enter]. You will see option to apply one from 5 pictures. Choose the number of pic that you want to apply and [hit Enter]. No need to reboot !!! And now you will get fullscreen image on your Landscape Lockscreen. Added option for Give a name to your pictures it will be easy to remember which picture you want to apply.

Instead this one:

Change Outgoing & Incoming Calls icons This will change your Outgoing & Incoming Calls history icons (Thanks to superjunior). Reboot needed! You can choice to reboot immediately or not. Remove Clock/Date from lockscreen can remove Clock or Date or both of them from lockscreen (thanks Ancelad). G. Change GPS (Nokia/Google) - This will give you ability to change the GPS provider and also you have option for changing SuplForced from "false" to "true" or vice versa. (Thanks to Almehdin and his script). Traffic in Drive app Enable/Disable Traffic + Day/Night + TTD in Drive app (thanks to sony123, colin.stephane, mbanck). For update, just reapply this tweak. For this tweak you NEED clean backup !!!

Change Drive to WAZE This tweak will apply WAZE instead Drive app inside the In Car Home app. For me it useful because Nokia dont have maps for my country

H. Enable ROOT-SSH Access & Root FileBox activate SSH access for ROOT & USER users. This have auto-restart SSH (Thanks to F2thaK & Almehdins script). You also have option to applying (or removing) ROOT access to FileBox app (thanks to CODeRUS & Fenol). And also you can change ROOT & USER passwords. I. Add additional IM's (Extraplugins) Will add additional IM's - ICQ/MSN/Yahoo/AOL/Jabber/VK Reboot needed at the end (Thanks to CODeRUS). If you used additional IM's from previous version of N9QT and you want switch to Extraplugins, for the first you need to remove some packages. You can do this manually from terminal as ROOT: apt-get remove im-providers-additional telepathy-haze libpurple0 Or from Settings -> Application -> Manage application Or if you installed additional IM's from other source, you need remove this packages (from Coderus page): Packages blacklist. Please remove following packages before installing Extraplugins: aolserviceprovider icqserviceprovider jabberserviceprovider msnserviceprovider odnoklassnikiserviceprovider qipserviceprovider vkserviceprovider yahooserviceprovider im-providers-additional telepathy-haze libpurple0 Accmanok Remove/Restore not necessary icons - You can Remove or Restore the not necessary icons from your homescreen. It's not uninstall, it's only remove icons like facebook, twiter, User guide...You can choose a few numbers separated by one space and press ENTER. (ex: 2 4 6 ... Enter)

M. Browser MODs OPERA tablet Add/Remove Opera tablet (thanks to CODeRUS).

Change UA in your default browser ONLY for user that have INCEPTION !!! You can change UA of default browser to Android or IOS, also you can restore to default (thanks to Arie). For more info, please read this post. N. Restore your favorite Ringtones put your favorite ringtones into: /home/user/MyDocs/.myringtones After applying this tweak your favorite ringtones will be copied to: /usr/share/sounds/ring-tones Now you easily can find this ringtones in: Setting -> Sounds and Vibration -> Ringtone O. Catch your OVI store application - You can catch downloaded application. Run this tweak -> Go to Ovi Store -> Press Download. When it done, you will see message in N9QT about this. The downloaded app you will find in your "Downloads" folder. Just add ".deb" extension to the end of the name of this file (thanks to kuzmichov, Fenol, hxka, Coderus). For this tweak you can create icon on your homescreen. P. Add/Remove your folder to/from Tracker You can add or remove your folders from MyDocs directory to/from Tracker IgnoredDirectory. You can choose from one to three folders Also you have option for backup of your new tracker file. This file will be used in restore option. Q. Enlarge Caller ID Avatar You can enlarge or restore to default Caller ID Avatar (thanks to r0mis & alxs_as-is). You also can apply Bigger Avatar with square corners (thanks to dvarlamoff). Reboot needed..

R. Conversation MOD Change standard emoticons - new set of emoticons.

Enlarge Emoticons it can enlarge original or new (if you installed new set) emoticons in Conversation app. The ideal size is 27 (thanks to Coderus & Ancelad). nlarge/Restore conversation font size - Change Font size and TimeStamp size in your messaging bubbles. This will ask you to insert new size (ex. 30) for the 4 different stuff (outgoing/incoming messages & timestamp). This also have option for BOLD or LIGHT font...

Install/Uninstall BLACK conversation theme Can install minimalistic black theme for conversation application (thanks to Coderus and me ).

S. Boost the playback volume - This will give you ability to boost your playback volume. Varning! This could potentially hurt the hardware. Use with caution. This tweak added from Almehdins script and he can change PreDriv setting in alsamixer.. Use this on your own risk !!! T. System UI MODs - This is two a different variations of system ui changer. You can use ONLY one of them !!! DONT mix them !!! 1. Unrestricted MT-Toggles This mode require Open mode or INCEPTION installed !!! Its work only for N9 users with PR1.3. This tweak have 2 options: 1. Coderus toggles - You CAN'T use MohammadAG repo for future updates. 2. MohammadAG toggles - You CAN use MohammadAG repo for future updates. Both of them include: * Latest version of Unrestricted system-ui (from MAG) * Music control (from MAG) auto hide is default option, you will see this ONLY when you start to play music. * Status updater (from MAG) * Battery percentage (from MAG) * Availability (from Coderus) * Hacky-Brightness applet (from Coderus) Coderus version include toggles (from Coderus): * Bluetooth * PSM * Flightmode * Flashlight * Cellular-toggle MAG's version include toggles (from MAG): * Bluetooth * PSM * Flightmode * Flashlight * Orientation lock Both of this methods have a little problem, after rebooting.. You always get red icon with save mode:

You just need to press on this icon and choose YES, this will refresh your status bar and all toggles start to work. If you DONT want to see this after each reboot, just UNINSTALL Status updater. Or try to run tweak W (option 9) and apply one of this options. For me it fixed this bug WITHOUT uninstallation of Status updater. If you will install this, you CANT use Status Menu Extensions !!! If you already installed Status Menu Extensions and want to try Unrestricted MT-Toggles, UNINSTALL Status Menu Extensions first !!! Before installation of Toggles, like before, you need to run option "0" (zero) for installation Unrestricted system-ui and MT-Toggles platform. Sub options: 1. Password changer for HackyBrightness applet Sometimes after reboot the HackyBrightness not work, only StandartBrightness work. You can easily fix this by reinsert your "ROOT" password. 2. Rearrange status menu plugins After installation you will get fixed menu and you can rearrange ONLY installed applets. You need to write the name, exactly like in the list! If you want to rearrange ALL applets, you can do this manually in this file: /etc/status-menu-items-order.conf 3. Logout quick status updater You can use this option when Quick status updater stop to work. You just need to Logout and Login again

Restoration of Unrestricted mod is NOT included in tweak Z !!! 2. Status Menu Extensions This is a new app from CODeRUS (big thanks). It's still in beta version with a small setting option. If you want to use this you need to do some things before using this app: if you use unrestricted-ui & MT-toggles platform & MT-Togles you need to REMOVE all of them !!! for this tweak (app) is NOT required inception ! You can use this also on the clean device. This tweak have two option install and uninstall. Later this app also will be available in OVI store. In the setting you can deactivate toggles that you don't want to use or rearrange them. Long press deactivate, Short press for rearrange.

3. Coderus Unrestricted System UI it is new variation of system ui, like unrestricted sys-ui. Its also include all Coderus applets and 2 stuff from MAG (status updater and music control). Inception or Open mode needed !!! This version in testing stage !!! Thanks to Coderus. Also like before you CANT mix it with 2 previous variations !!! After installation you can choose from this tweak which status menu you want to use 1. Standard status menu its static for all status menu and not include notifications & close button. 2. Status menu with notifications & close button here you have: Top of the status menu is static and Bottom of status menu is dynamic. You can rearrange the order of applets here: /home/user/.status-menu Do it by editing this 3 files: top-order.conf and pannable-order.conf for Status menu with notifications & close button items-order.conf for Standard status menu You can edit it directly on your phone with editors like Redak or TXpad. Names of installed applets, you also can see here: /usr/share/meegotouch/applicationextensions Also you can change widgets icons. Just create icons 64x64px with .png extension. And put them to: /home/user/.system-ui-widgets This is a names of icons:

Also if you install Led Event Notifer, you can control it from: Settings -> Notifications -> Notifications -> LED notifications If you want to disable or rearrange some icons of widgets, for now you can do this via GConfik application. Just go to: desktop -> meego -> status_menu -> widgets You CANT disable or rearrange icons of tools Some problem:

still have bug with alarm delay Music Control the default player opens with big delay, but work good. Status Updater Big delay until the Authorization window opens.

Restoration of Coderus sys-ui is NOT included in tweak Z !!! U. ZOOM in video recording & silent sounds this will add/remove zoom option in video recording (Thanks to kuzmichov). Also, you can add/restore silent sounds to Photo & Video camera (Thanks to Ancelad), Reboot needed. You can choose both of this tweaks separated by one space and press ENTER. (ex: 1 2... Enter) W. Homescreen setting - Change/Restore your desktop backgrounds (Thanks to kuzmichov and cckwes)... Explanation (2 images): If you activated landscape mode, and you want to show the two images, one for portrait (on all 3 screens), and one for landscape (on all 3 screens), you can activate the option 1, make 2 pictures (one for landscape and one for the portrait.) 1. Create 2 pictures named: 1) Pdeskbg1 with an 480x854 px dimension and with .png extension (Pdeskbg1.png) for portrait. 2) Ldeskbg1 with an 854x480 px dimension and with .png extension (Ldeskbg1.png) for landscape. 2. Put this images from your PC to: /home/user/MyDocs/Pictures/.backgrounds 3. Open N9 QTweak app (password of devel-su, default: rootme), choose w [hit Enter], then choose 1 [hit Enter]. 4. Your setting will take effect after reboot. You can choose to restart immediately or not. If you use only portrait mode, it is enough to make one picture (Pdeskbg1.png) and on all three screens, you will have exact same picture... Explanation (6 images): If you activated landscape mode, and you want to display different pictures for each screen, you can activate the option 2, by preparing six different images, so you will have 6 different screens (3 landscape and 3 portrait). 1. Create 6 pictures named: 1) Pdeskbg1 with an 480x854 px dimension and with .png extension (Pdeskbg1.png) for portrait. 2) Ldeskbg1 with an 854x480 px dimension and with .png extension (Ldeskbg1.png) for landscape. 3) Pdeskbg2 with an 480x854 px dimension and with .png extension (Pdeskbg2.png) for portrait. 4) Ldeskbg2 with an 854x480 px dimension and with .png extension (Ldeskbg2.png) for landscape. 5) Pdeskbg3 with an 480x854 px dimension and with .png extension (Pdeskbg3.png) for portrait. 6) Ldeskbg3 with an 854x480 px dimension and with .png extension (Ldeskbg3.png) for landscape. 2. Only long & transparent notification bar You will see long & transparent notification bar on your lockscreen. Folder popup window mod - You can change background on popup window of folders (thanks to hungthai_pt). You have some option: 1. Transparent popup window default is not fully transparent, you can choose the transparent from 1 to 6. 2. Image in popup window - your own image. 3. Transparent & Image in popup window - your own image with transparent background. Your own image (explanation): 1. Create image with name folder-bg in PNG format (folder-bg.png) 2. Put this image to: /home/user/MyDocs/Pictures/.backgrounds 3. Activate this tweak

4. Enlarge popup window You can change the size of popup window for portrait and landscape. You need to write ONLY numbers or just press enter to leave the default size (thanks to F2thaK).

Launcher progress indicator This tweak will add a visual indicator to all your icons. You can see this when you start your applications (thanks to wellef & latency). Desktop icons changer You can change launcher icons on the homescreen. Go to: /home/user/MyDocs/.launchericons, put your images in to: 64x64 for icons located in: /usr/share/icons/hicolor/64x64/apps (refresh needed) 80x80 - for icons located in: /usr/share/icons/hicolor/80x80/apps (refresh needed) Icons - for icons located in: /usr/share/themes/blanco/meegotouch/icons (reboot needed) opt - for icons located in: /opt/your_app/find_your/icon in this folder you need to create a full path to the icon of your application !!! (refresh needed) If you are not sure where the desktop icon located, you can check it in: /usr/share/applications/your_app.desktop Folder original include the same folders for backup your original icons if you want . This tweak will NOT create backup for you, you need to do this manually. Also in folder opt - you need to create a full path to the icon of your application !!! Thanks to chenliangchen for useful thread, also in this thread you can find a some nice icons. For those who like to update icons and want to see the result immediately, but without refresh of all home screens, because it also will close all your opened apps. Run this command as ROOT: sed -i 's/Icon/Icon2/;s/Icon2/Icon/g' /usr/share/applications/*.desktop It will refresh all your icons on the home screen without closing of all your opened apps.. Probably your phone will freeze for a few second, don't worry, it's ok.. Just wait a few seconds But if you change icons in the: /usr/share/themes/blanco/meegotouch/icons - You still need reboot for seeing your changes... Statusbar background changer You can put your own image to the statusbar instead the original black. Its NOT work with transparent image(thanks to wook_sf)... Status background changer work correctly only with first option, when you choose ONLY 2 backgrounds !!! Your own image (explanation): 1. Create 2 images with name Pstatus and Lstatus in PNG format (Pstatus.png, Lstatus.png). If you use only portrait mode, you can create only one pic (Pstatus.png). Pstatus.png (for portrait mode) size 480x36 Lstatus.png (for landscape mode) size 854x36 2. Put this images to: /home/user/MyDocs/Pictures/.backgrounds 3. Activate this tweak

Statusbar background changer w/o black line the same tweak, just without black line (thanks to guillermorojaz).

Change only color of status bar you can insert color code (only code, without symbol #) to change the background color of status bar (thanks to Thedead1440). Feed-Notification-Multitasking MOD: 1. Orange & Blue colors for Feed-Notification - This will change your Feed & Notification header and title colors to Orange and Blue (Thanks to oSCho). 2. Manually change colors for Feed-Notification - You can choose custom colors. See here for colors codes. You need insert ONLY the code, without symbol # This need refresh, you can choose to refresh or not.

3. Feed-Notification-Multitasking name changer Here you can change words Feed, Notification and Nothing open yet. Also you can change the size/color of Nothing open yet (thanks to Coderus & MAG). For using this tweak you need, you need edit 2 files. Go to: /home/user/MyDocs/.N9QTweakBackup/usr/share/l10n/meegotouch and find your files. At the end of this files you can see 2 letters, that mean your system language. For example if my phone in English system language, I need: home_en.qm notification_en.qm and if my system French, I need home_fr.qm and notification_fr.qm etc Transfer this 2 files to your PC and edit with QTLinguist. In home file edit lines qtn_home_recents_empty and qtn_home_events_feed_title In notification file edit line qtn_noti_title Transfer this files back to your phone, to: /home/user/MyDocs/.notifername and apply tweak W, option 7. You can edit this file whenever you want and then just reapply this tweak again See examples:

. Create .DEB file from already installed app You can create DEB file from installed apps (user or system) (thanks to farfary). Created files saved in /home/user/MyDocs/BackDeb Y. Customize the statusbar clock & Clock UI: Customize statusbar clock Change your statusbar clock like this ex. 08:08 | Sun 13 Okt or 08:08 AM | Sun 13 Okt, or write your custom string. See here for examples. You also can change the clock color. Customize Clock UI - You have a few versions of enlarging Clock UI (thanks to Gnome & dvarlamoff) Customize Alarm UI - Option for enlarging Alarm UI. Hide operator name You can hide/restore operator name from statusbar (thanks to guillermorojaz). But remember, if you use battery percentage from tweak T, it will be also removed! Change color of operator name You can change color of your operator name. Be careful, not all colors acceptable by system !!! (thanks to Ancelad). Change color of statusbar Clock/Date - You can change color of your clock/date in status bar. You can choose all of this tweaks separated by one space and press ENTER (ex: 1 2... Enter).

AA. Uninstall orig. apps (testing stage!) - This tweak ONLY for Pro/Advanced user !!! This Tweak in the testing stage and should to replace Tweak QQ in the future.. Before testing this tweak: If you used tweak QQ restore all apps back (QQ-4), but if you uninstalled some system apps that not in the list of this tweak QQ, Please restore them before running QQ-4. Now you can use Tweak AA You need to choose which package you have mp-harmattan-001-pr or mpharmattan-005-pr. If for example you want to remove Twitter, you should see this packages for removing: The following packages will be REMOVED account-plugin-twitter l10n-app-twitter l10n-app-twittershare libmeegotwitter1 twitter twitter-meego twitter-qml webupload-service-twitter 0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 8 to remove and0 not upgraded. But if you also see mp-harmattan-001-pr DONT uninstall this application !!! Try to uninstall and reinstall this system applications, also try to install some other regular apps and if you will see message like some packages should be removed before installation DONT press ok, only Cancel ! it can KILL your system. Please try and report in my thread on TMO (Thanks to CODeRUS). If you see this 2 problem, just run the last option for restore all app and mp-harmattan-001/005-pr package to prevent killing of your system and only after this you can start again remove not useful for you apps

BB. Display Tweaker: Enable/Disable automatic brightness You can enable or disable automatic brightness (thanks to Almehdins script). You also have option for tuning of brightness (from 0 to 225), you can use this after disabling auto-brightness. WARNING: DONT put this string to "0", this will switch off your screen!!! Display timeout you can change which timeout you want in Settings > Device > Display (thanks to Almehdins script). Screen blanking ON/OFF - Enable or disable if screen will go to sleep mode (blanking) (thanks to Almehdins script). CC. WLAN MODs You can Activate/Deactivate Adhoc at startup for USA users (thanks to itsnotabigtruck). And change WLAN MAC address (thanks to Camerado & CODeRUS). DD. Resize icon and text on app launcher You can change size of the icons on app launcher. And also you can change size & color of the icons text (thanks to Almehdins script). Refresh needed! You can choose to refresh immediately or not (thanks to Almehdins script). Also you can reduce the spacing between the icons (thanks to Coderus).

EE. INCEPTION installation You can install and activate Inception and aegisctl. FF. N9 QRefresh button & N9QT splash images - Press -> type root (devel-su) pass -> get refresh of your phone. You can choose F for full refresh (statusbar-lockscreen-homescreen-bme) or S for soft refresh (statusbar-lockscreen) or B for restart BME.

Change N9QT splash image - you can change splash images of N9 QTweak app to some different colors (thanks to 3llipsis for pictures). GG. Change Boot video & Startup images You can create or download from somewhere the short video named bootvideo with .mp4 extention. Put this video to: /home/user/MyDocs/Movies/.Bootvideo and choose option 1 from this tweak. If you also want to change startup images, create 3 images: 1. startup1.png 2. startup2.jpg 3. startup3.jpg put them to the same folder: /home/user/MyDocs/Movies/.Bootvideo and choose option 2 from this tweak. HH. Fixing MMS issue on T-Mobile (USA users) This should fix MMS issue on T-Mobile for USA users. II. Add/Remove extra repos You can add 4 new repos: 1. RZR community repository 2. Harmattan SDK repository 3. N9 repository for N950 users 4. Supertux2 repository 5. Harmattan repo for packages that need inception (thanks to MohammadAG)

JJ. Change behaviour of PowerKey You can change behaviour action of Power key for seingle press and double press (thanks to Almehdins script). KK. Files tweaker Enable Twitter video sharing in Gallery This will add options for sharing images via Twitter (thanks to aegis). Add Faster Unzip/Unrar/Untar After applying this tweak, you can easy and fast Unzip/Unrar/Untar your files from list of downloaded files (status bar -> Transfers) by one click on this file (thanks to Craig_Mabbitt). You will find extracted files in: /home/user/MyDocs/meerar/name_of_your_archive Add Custom file size to email You can change the attachment file limit from 5MB (thanks to chemist). In tweak you need to write ONLY numbers ! Change default photo/video file nam you can change the default format (YYMM) of photo/video file name. Inception needed ! (thanks to nicolai). Remove Albumarts it can remove album arts from gallery. Change smartsearch priority This tweak will give a little more battery life to your phone (thanks to wook_sf). Scalling frequency changer you can change the min_freq to 600000 or 800000. You will get a little more sensitive phone, but probably it will eat your battery faster (thanks to wook_sf). Add Haptic to Calculator Will add haptic to Calc buttons. LL. Lockscreen & live clock icons You can add live icon of clock (thanks to CODeRUS and itsnotabigtruck) and also install lockscreen app. MM. ProfileMatic rules backup & restore This tweak will backup or restore your rules from ProfileMatic app. Reboot needed after restore.. NN. Contacts and SMS importer: Import/Export Contacts - This tweak can create one file with all your contacts and import this file to Address book (for example after reflash). You also can use this file with FileBox app. Before using this tweak, you need export all your contacts from address book in to the file, this action will create folder named "Contacts" in the /home/user/MyDocs directory. This tweak works on the phones with Russian, English and Spanish UI (thanks to nikkirov, Craig_Mabbitt, HanzBlix). Import/Export SMS this tweak have a few options (thanks to wwwjfy & wolke): 1. Export ALL SMS to ONE file it will export all your messages (sms/ims) in to one file named smsbackup_14-10-2012_013323.sms and located in: /home/user/MyDocs/.smsbackup. The last 6 digits it a time (hh:mm:ss). 2. Import ALL SMS to conversations it will import all your messages (sms/ims) into the Conversation app. Before using this option, go to /home/user/MyDocs/.smsbackup -> choose file that you want to restore and rename it or copy it into new file named smsbackup.sms. Restored IMs not work, you can only read them 3. Split your messages this option can split all you messages (sms/ims) in to: /home/user/MyDocs/.smsbackup/sms-backup-repo. For example you do not want to restore IMs messages, just remove the ims files from this directory. SMS files named with telephone number. 4. Import filtered messages this option will merge all files from folder /home/user/MyDocs/.smsbackup/smsbackup-repo into one file and import it to your Conversation app.

OO. Lock your favorite application - You can lock 5 applications with password (Gallery/Video/Mail/Messages/N9QT). You have 4 options (Refresh needed at the end): This lock NOT work if you open your Mail or SMS from the lockscreen or notification screen. 1. Lock app - You can change default password and lock your app. 2. Unlock app - Unlock your app one by one or all together. 3. Remove LockApp and restore to default - Unlock all your app and remove lock app 4. Fix problem with duplicated icons - If for some reasons you will get duplicated icons, this option can fix this problem, but this action will disorganize all your icons on the homescreen !!! (thanks to Iktwo, guillermorojaz). You can lock all this applications in one click or by choosing more of one application separated by one space and press ENTER. (ex: 3 5... Enter). PP. ONE click applications remover This tweak can UNINSTALL from the system all of your apps that located in specific folder (thanks to Craig_Mabbitt). You have option for 3 different locations: 1. /home/user/MyDocs/.downloads 2. /home/user/MyDocs/Downloads 3. /home/user/MyDocs/Programs QQ. Uninstall orig. apps (only PRO users) - This tweak ONLY for Pro/Advanced user !!! Please, use this tweak ONLY if you know what you do! You need to choose which package you have mp-harmattan-001-pr or mp-harmattan-005-pr. This tweak will UNLOCK system packages and will give you option to uninstall/install them back. You can see the list of application that you can uninstall or restore them back (big thanks to CODeRUS). You have option for locking your system packages back. When you will run this option, it will restore all your removed application and lock system packages. BUT, be careful: * Although you will see a message that system packages is locked, you STILL can remove system packages - DON'T do it !!!, because this action can KILL your system !!! After locking, DON'T remove system apps !!! * If you deleted some apps that NOT in the list of apps in this tweak, you need restore them before locking ! * This option also fixing a lags problem. RR. Create/Restore backup of your tweaked phone This tweak can create backup after tweaking (/home/user/MyDocs/.N9QTweakedBackup). And this is a faster way to restore your tweaks and apps. This tweak will NOT install packages, that you installed from tweak T !!! It will ONLY save/restore your tweaked system files and some packages like "patch meerar extraplugins inception aegisctl python binutils lockscreen" if they was installed before. NEW! The restore option not only transfer tweaked files back to your system, it also install all .deb files form: /home/user/MyDocs/BackDeb/All If you dont want to install all this apps, just remove them from this folder. Or if you want to install apps from other folders, just edit file: /home/user/MyDocs/.N9QTweakedBackup/appinstaller.sh Instead line: dpkg -i /home/user/MyDocs/BackDeb/All/* write path to your apps. If when you created this backup, you dont have Inception installed on your phone, DONT run restore option until installing/activating Inception ! Open mode users have separated option. Differences from tweak X: Tweak X - can create .deb files for USER, for SYSTEM app or for ALL apps. ALL apps wil be saved in /home/user/MyDocs/BackDeb/All For install ALL apps from tweak X it use this directory with command: Code: dpkg -i /home/user/MyDocs/BackDeb/All/* Tweak RR - is more complicated: 1. Backup option - It will create a small script with command for install ALL apps from: /home/user/MyDocs/BackDeb/All

2. Now it will create backup of ALL tweaked files 3. It will create script with names of packages that installed from N9QT like inception, wget, python, unzip etc... 4. Restore option - here you need to choose what you had installed before Open mode or Inception, It also important ! 4. Restore start from installation of packages that located in: /home/user/MyDocs/BackDeb/All via command: Code: dpkg -i /home/user/MyDocs/BackDeb/All/* That mean, before you run restore option from tweak RR, I recomend to edit the first small script: /home/user/MyDocs/.N9QTweakedBackup/appinstaller.sh and Instead line: Code: dpkg -i /home/user/MyDocs/BackDeb/All/* Write path to your apps or if you prefer it will be installed from this location, I recommend do selection in this folder. Just go to: /home/user/MyDocs/BackDeb/All and remove all apps that you don't know what is this (dependencies etc..). Leave only apps that you installed. Also I recommend remove from this folder Inception package and all applets that you installed from tweak T. Inception included in second script and applets you can reapply from tweak T after restore RR. You DON'T need to run tweak X after restoring Tweak RR !!! Maybe this did sabothage to your phone.. Also, for example I don't use backup for apps from tweak X, I catched original app with "Catch apps" icon from tweak O. Now, all my apps located in different folders and for tweak RR I just edited the first script (/home/user/MyDocs/.N9QTweakedBackup/appinstaller.sh) and instead one command, I wrote a few command (dpkg -i) to the different folders, where is my apps located.. For dependencies Tweak RR run command: Code: apt-get install -f -y at the end of the process.. Also see my post how I used tweak RR to fully restore my phone after reflash. K. Create Backup !!! Creating Backup from your system files. This will create folder named .N9QTweakBackup in your: /home/user/MyDocs. Z. Full Restore This will restore ALL your tweaks, can uninstall new IMs and restart or refresh your phone. Uninstall have two options Yes & No and also you will notice twice about uninstall new IMs, you can choose Yes or No inside the restore process. UU. N9QT updater ! from this option you can update N9 Qtweak to new version. It will ask you to insert a version number, just write a number, for example: 9.4 If this version here, it will be downloaded and installed automatically. After installation, you will find downloaded version in: /home/user/MyDocs/Downloads C. Changelog you can see what new in current version.

L. Clean backup downloader You can download my clean backup whenever you want. It will override your N9QT backup files. V. About & Credits - it is clear NOTE: To uninstall my application, do this by usual way, go to: Settings -> Applications -> Manage applications. Choose N9 QTweak and uninstall it. Another way long press on N9 QTweak icon on the app homescreen. Even if you uninstall this app it will leave the Backup files in MyDocs (/home/user/MyDocs/.N9QTweakBackup) and if for some reason you forgotten to restore your tweaks before uninstalling or just want to restore later, you can do this manually or only one time by running the one simple command as ROOT: sh /home/user/MyDocs/.N9QTweakBackup/RESTORE This command: 1. restore your tweaks to default (except the new IMs) 2. Delete this folder (.N9QTweakBackup) from your phone 3. Refresh your home and lockscreens

How to get clean backup (if you forgot to create): Option 1 (PC + USB cable + N9): 1. Go to first post and press on "my clean backup" 2. Download this file to your PC 3. Extract from ZIP 4. Connect your phone to PC with USB cable 5. Press Connect via Mass Storage on your phone 6. When Win explorer window will opens, transfer the extracted folder .N9QTweakBackup to your phone 7. Close Win explorer window and disconnect your phone from PC Option 2 (N9 browser + FileBox): 1. Go to first post with your N9 browser and press on "my clean backup" 2. When you will see message: Couldn't open the file N9QTweakBackup_6.2_all.zip because the format is wrong, press OK. 3. When you will see on the black screen "completed", press Done. 4. Open FileBox app and go to: /home/user/MyDocs/.downloads 5. Double click on the file named: N9QTweakBackup_6.2_all.zip 6. Press on the button "Extract files" and this will open for you a new window with: Arrow up, Extract here, Cancel. 7. Press ONCE on arrow up, this will open for you a new window in /home/user/MyDocs directory. 8. Press "Extract here" and this will open new window with question: "Override all", press on this. 9. When process is completed, you can close FileBox app. SOLVING installation problem (some options): 1. Reboot your phone and try to install again (double click on the .deb file). 2. Go to Settings -> Applications -> Manage applications -> N9 QTweak -> Uninstall. After this reboot your phone and try to install again (double click on the .deb file). 3. Go to Settings -> Applications -> Manage applications -> N9 QTweak -> Uninstall. After this go to /opt folder with WinSCP or FileBox as ROOT and check if you see folder named "N9QTweak". If yes, delete this folder and try to install again (double click on the .deb file). 4. Open terminal as ROOT and try to install with command: dpkg -i /path/to/the/file And write output in this thread..

How to REINSTALL original system-ui or UNINSTALL unrestricted-system-ui & MT-Toggles platform & Toggles: 1. Go to Setting -> Applications -> Manage Applications 2. Uninstall ALL Toggles 3. Uninstall MT-Toggles Platform 4. Now you need reinstall the original system-ui. Open terminal as ROOT: devel-su (your root password default is rootme) apt-get install --reinstall -d system-ui This will download the original system-ui to: /var/cache/apt/archives Transfer this file (system-ui_1.3.2-1+0m8_armel.deb) where you want and install via inception: /usr/sbin/incept /path/to/system-ui_1.3.2-1+0m8_armel.deb Refresh status bar by: /sbin/initctl restart xsession/sysuid 5. DONE! Now you again with original system-ui.. How to REINSTALL original icons Run this command as ROOT: apt-get install --reinstall meegotouchtheme-nokia-icons SOLUTION for Standby screen doesn't display time: If for some reason your LPS (low power screen) doesnt display time, probably it came from tweak T (unrestricted). For fixing of this problem run this command as ROOT: apt-get install --reinstall system-ui-screenlock-nokia it should fix your LPS. SOLUTION for this issue:

Probably this issue came from version 8.9, tweak T. Just uninstall Tweak T (option 3) and run this command from terminal as ROOT: apt-get install --reinstall duicontrolpanel-soundsettingsapplet

Do refresh to your phone and it should resolve your problem.. You also can try this one: apt-get install --reinstall duicontrolpanel-profileapplet SOLUTION for MeeCast: If you have problem with fullscreen image on the lockscreen (Tweak C): Go to setting of MeeCast app. Disable lockscreen widget. Now Tweak C should work. SOLUTION for lpsmagic: For users who using lpsmagic app and have a problem with info screen (solution from this post).. Apply you LPS info screen from application itself. Apply Tweak A, one from 3 option that you want and check you lowpower screen. You will see info screen of LPS cut. Go to Tweak F, option 2. You can skip all questions (just press enter) until the two last: 1. Size of oplogo - first number (def. 12): - here write 45, then press enter. 2. Size of oplogo - second number (def. 12): - here write 10, then press enter. At the end it will ask you: Choose F for fix or R for Refresh or Enter for exit: - just type R, then press enter. This will refresh your lockscreen. Now check your LPS info on the lowpower screen, it should to work... Solution for reboot-loop (via R&D mode on win PC): 1. Flasher need to be installed on your win PC 2. Press Start -> run -> write: cmd -> press Enter (it will open black window. 3. write: Code: cd\Program Files\Nokia\Flasher then press Enter. 4. write: Code: flasher --enable-rd-mode --set-rd-flags=no-lifeguard-reset then press Enter. 5. Long press on the power button on your phone for completely switch it OFF. Wait 5-10 sec. 6. Connect your phone to PC via USB cable 7. It will activate R&D mode. You will see logo Nokia and spanner. 8. Disconnect from you PC -> long press on power button for switch it off -> switch your phone ON 9. When phone bootup -> go to the same tweak and press restore to default.. or do it manually from terminal as ROOT (for example if you changed file statusarea.css) : Code: devel-su your pass (default rootme) cp -f /home/user/MyDocs/.N9QTweakBackup/usr/share/themes/base/meegotouch/sysuid/style/statusarea.css /usr/share/themes/base/meegotouch/sysuid/style or do it from FileBox (same locations) 10. In cmd window write: Code: flasher --disable-rd-mode

11. Long press on the power button on your phone for completely switch it OFF. Wait 5-10 sec. 12. Connect your phone to PC via USB cable 13. It will disable R&D mode. 14. Disconnect from you PC -> long press on power button for switch it off -> switch your phone ON. DONE... Solution for reboot-loop (ONLY on Linux PC): The source here: http://wiki.meego.com/N950/Fixing_MALF_state (also thanks to thedead1440) 1. Download N950 MeeGo kernel and N950 MeeGo rescue initrd 2. Download Flasher for Linux based on your linux architecture: i386 is for 32-bit systems and amd64 is for 64-bit systems 3. Go to the Downloads directory where your files have been downloaded and double click on the Flasher file to install it (there will be no separate program for flasher it will be integrated into the system instead) 4. Unplug the usb cable from your phone 5. Turn your phone off 6. Load the N950 MeeGo kernel and N950 MeeGo rescue initrd using flasher: Go to the Downloads directory again, right-click and select to open terminal here and write this command:
sudo flasher --load -k vmlinuz-2.6.32.20112201-11.2-adaptation-n950-bootloader n initrd.img-rescue-2.6.32.20112201-11.2-n950 --boot

7. Insert the usb cable 8. Wait about minute until a new USB mass storage device appears on the host
You should now have three partitions: /dev/sdX1 with is MyDocs, /dev/sdX2 which is MeeGo 1.2 Harmattan rootfs, and /dev/sdX3 which is the MeeGo 1.2 Harmattan home directory.

9. Find exact partition's names found on your Nokia N9/N950. Mine had /dev/sdb2 as N9's rootfs.
fdisk -l

10. Mount rootfs somewhere:

sudo mkdir /mnt/n9; sudo mount /dev/sdb2 /mnt/n9

11. We need to know which file (which tweak) caused the reboot-loop. For example we take that the tweak has modified /usr/share/themes/blanco/meegotouch/meegotouchhome/style/meegotouchhome.css. Open terminal and write: sudo cp -R /path_to_your_backed_up_file /media/{rootfs}/usr/share/themes/blanco/meegotouch/meegotouchhome/style 12. Unmount the rootfs:
sudo umount /mnt/n9

13. Unplug the usb cable and Reboot your phone (reboot-loop should be gone)
