Co-organized workshop: Invited worker from Juárez, México to visit HSU to speak about her experiences
as a maquiladora worker. Presented information about the situation in Juárez to over 75 participants.
Translated for speaker and participants. Facilitated dialogue.
What’s happening to the Women of Juárez?, Week of Dialogue on Race 11/03
Educated participants about the mass murder of women in the border town of Juárez, México. Presented
research and primary sources about the situation.
