Division Specification

Short Stirrup -- Open to riders 12 years of age and under with limited experience. Height of fences 18 - 2. No cross entering in classes over 2. Long Stirrup -- Open to riders 13 years of age and over with limited experience. Fences 18 - 2. No cross entering in classes over 2. Baby Green Hunter -- Open to horses/ponies in their first two years of showing. Fences 23. Judged on performance and soundness. Pre-Child/Adult Hunter open to any Jr. or Amateur on a horse or pony. Fences 23 26. No cross entering where fences exceed 29. Modified-Child/Adult Hunter -- Open to any Jr. or Amateur on a horse or pony. Fences 26- 29. Rider may not cross enter into classes where the fences exceed 33. Childrens/Adult Amateur Hunter -- Open to any Jr. or Amateur on a horse or pony. Fences 29 - 3. Horse/Rider combination may not exhibit in Jr/AO Hunter at this show. Jr/Ao Hunter Open to horses ridden by a junior or amateur. Amateur or member of amateur family must own the horse being exhibited. Pick 8 Equitation Derby Open to all horses & ponies, junior or amateur riders. Riders will determine a course of eight jumps (no obstacle may be jumped twice in the same direction, however if an obstacle is set to be jumped from both directions it may be jumped each way once). At least the class will be called back for the flat phase. Riders must show at their relative fence height. Fences 2, 26, 29 and 3. DIVISION SPECIFICATION Schooling Show Circuit Rules - All Riders required to wear hard hats & hard-soled shoes when mounted. - A Beginner is any rider (adult or child) who is in the first three years of showing. Entries will be split by age if needed. - No cross entering between Trot & Canter divisions. ** Exception - Xrails to Verticals. - X-rails to Verticals First fence must be trotted, cantering the second fence in the line. Rider has the option to trot or canter the third fence, always cantering the last. - A Mini Stirrup is any beginning rider. May cross enter into Canter Xrails & X-rails to Verticals. - The age of a rider is determined by the riders age as of December 1, of the previous year. - Pre Hunter open to green horses &/or riders. No cross entering in divisions higher than 2. - Low Hunter Open to all horses and riders, where not restricted by height
