Conference

Lombard, Illinois USA (January 8, 2008)—The supplychainforesight 2008 research

study results will be unveiled at CSCMP Southern Africa 2008 to be held in Johannesburg,
South Africa, March 3-4.
The report is an authoritative source of strategic information about the evolution of South
Africa’s supply chains. This year’s study will examine the relationships between complexity, sup-
ly chain capability, and business success, in addition to tracking key trends. The 2008 research
study will also include interviews with top CEOs about their supply chain capabilities and busi-
ness performance. Conference session leaders will discuss the key trends emerging from the
2008 study.
CSCMP Southern Africa 2008’s theme is Supply Chain Excellence: Creating the Reality
in South Africa. With the increasing globalization of supply chain principles and practices, achiev-
ing supply chain excellence requires a clear understanding of local and global issues—including

international and local experts focusing on the keys to high-performing supply chains.
“The Southern Africa conference is a must-attend event for anyone involved in managing
supply chains in South Africa,” says Dr. Thomas Speh, event co-chair. “This unique conference
